Päfgens live at Orange’ Ear

In June we played a special concert in Berlin at Orange ‘Ear’s lovely flat/studio. Now the session is available online: fourteen songs, most of it from our upcoming album, shot on six cameras with a great sound. We were really impressed! Thank you Jo and Frank!

New EP by Päfgens out now!

Päfgens newest EP Der Verpasste Zug Nach Berlin is released on a DIY handmade packaged CDs and a digital. EP was recorded in a living room in Warsaw by the band and then mastered by Dominik Suchý in Denmark. Field recordings were recorded in Iceland and Warsaw by Päfgens.

Jana’s project Sounds of Jelonki - album out now!

Sounds are all around us. We just can not run away from them, because even the silence has its own sound. This natural soundtrack is there all the time and accompanies every single step of our lifes. 

Photography is the entrance into a different world, depicting a moment, emotion. The photographer is separated from the outside world through shutter, which builds at the same time the connections between the photographer and the interpreter of the picture. Through the project, we would like to present this unique place, which stays basically unknown to people. The talks, dinners, music in one of the neighbour´s houses, gardens, trees, wooden houses… „Sounds of Jelonki” are part of Laboratorium Projektów Osiedla „Przyjaźń“ and is carried out in its area.

What Happened To Erich Zederkoff? OUT NOW! 

Debut longplay of Warsaw based slovak couple Päfgens is centered around small songs about more and less banal events from their life. Apart from their more improvised EP Golo, album What Happened To Erich Zederkoff? uses shoegaze influences combined with lo-fi aproach, folk simplicity and gentle vocals, everything underlined with field recordings.
