I just knew it—outside of Chinese players, no one would love Nawfal that deeply. After all, in a story full of beautiful bodies, he's lean, melancholic, deeply calculating, unflinchingly honest. He contemplates the needs of the poor, the exploitation and harm of authoritarian rule, and he schemes—not just to overthrow the old, but to bring forth a new world.
A character like him... all he needs to do, just softly whisper to a Chinese player (especially a female player), “Let’s start a revolution together,” and most of us will fall hopelessly, irreversibly in love with him.

In Ho told Gi Hun that since terminating the game would lead to his own death, if Gi Hun didn't try to stop the game, and instead let In Ho help Gi Hun survive and escape the game island, they could both live. Wouldn't that free them both from the loop? Gi Hun smiled sadly and said that since there were infinite possibilities in parallel universes, of course there existed a timeline where both of them survived. Maybe there was a Gi Hun who would be willing to live like that, but he wasn't that Gi Hun.
In Ho understood that Gi Hun refused to give up on saving the players and stopping the game. He sighed, handed the gun to Gi Hun, and asked him whether he would kill In Ho in order to break free from the loop. Gi Hun looked at him and suddenly realized the kind of hell they were in. Gi Hun, trapped in this endless cycle of death, and In Ho, trapped in the same cycle—they were both prisoners of their own obsessions and of each other's. Like insects caught in the sticky web of fate, they were dying, and in the end, only they are the ones couldn't let go. They preferred to be bound tightly to each other in the center of this hell.
Gi Hun gently placed the gun aside. He kissed In Ho, and In Ho kissed him back, his movements very practiced. They had done this in previous loops, but those Gi Huns had left In Ho, and those In Ho had killed Gi Hun after their intimacy. Where would they go this time? Gi Hun felt sadness, nostalgia, and curiosity, and he held onto this In Ho tightly. In Ho's hands clung to him just as fiercely.

In Ho told Gi Hun that in his own loops, Gi Hun had repeatedly rebelled against the Frontman. He had killed Young Il, who tried to get close to him. He had also attacked the Frontman the moment he appeared. There was a time when Gi Hun led other players to storm the control room and killed In Ho. But there was also a time when Gi Hun wanted to talk to In Ho and successfully persuaded him to stop the games. Unfortunately, as the Frontman, In Ho didn't have the authority to terminate the games and was executed by his own subordinates for this act of betrayal. On another occasion, Gi Hun convinced In Ho to join forces with him, and the two of them even managed to escape from the game island. However, In Ho was still hunted down and killed by the higher-ups of the game a few days later.
In Ho had already realized that whenever he died, the loop would restart. This made him wonder: since he died while Gi Hun survived, why didn't Gi Hun, who was also trapped in the loop, retain any surviving memories? In Ho told Gi Hun that, although it seemed incredible, the two of them must be in some kind of parallel universe. In any reality, if In Ho killed Gi Hun and survived, his timeline would continue and break free from the loop. Similarly, if Gi Hun killed In Ho or indirectly caused his death, Gi Hun would break free from the loop and continue his life. But those countless timelines where either In Ho or Gi Hun survived were unknown to the trapped In Ho and Gi Hun, because the only ones trapped here were In Ho, who was killed over and over again, and Gi Hun, who was killed over and over again.
In Ho told Gi Hun all this because so much had already happened between them. He wanted to be fair to Gi Hun and let him know how they could break free from the time loop, then he wanted to see whether Gi Hun would kill In Ho in order to escape the loop.

As Gi Hun got up from the bed and planned not to choose the same Jegi-playing teammate in the Six-Legged game this time, he was surprised to find that the pink soldiers did not conduct their usual speech about the game and the prize as a temptation. Instead, they came straight to him and ordered Player 456 to follow them. Just like that, Gi Hun was brought directly before the Frontman. He felt both surprised and angry. Was this fair? Was the Frontman going to kill him right at the beginning of this loop? Unexpectedly, the Frontman ordered the soldiers to leave and removed his mask. Although he still pointed a gun at Gi Hun, he said he wanted to talk to him.
Gi Hun said, "You are Hwang In Ho." In Ho smiled and replied, "I know you know. I just wanted to make things simpler this time." "This time?" Gi Hun asked in surprise. "Do you remember? Are you also trapped in this loop?" In Ho nodded.

In Ho decided not to participate in the game this time to see how Gi Hun would perform. Gi Hun still seemed to harbor resentment towards the Frontman and the games. He actively helped people survive in the games and encouraged everyone to vote to leave. In the Six-Legged Race, Gi Hun chose to play with a spinning top. His teammate, who was playing Jegi, made a mistake, and they were killed by the pink soldiers' guns.
Gi Hun woke up in the game dormitory, feeling exhausted and irritable. In the previous loop, he hadn't even made it to the point where In Ho appeared before he died. He kept dying over and over again in the game—sometimes because of In Ho disguised as Young Il, sometimes due to his own mistakes, and sometimes because he attacked the pink soldiers. He didn't know how to break free from this terrible cycle, but he could sense that the key lay with the Frontman, who was In Ho.
On the eve of one of his previous deaths, the Frontman had removed his mask in front of him and said that his name wasn't Young Il. After Gi Hun's insistence, he revealed his real name was Hwang In Ho. Gi Hun remembered that name; he was the brother that the police officer, Jun Ho, had been searching for. He wanted to tell In Ho that his brother was looking for him, but he hadn't found the opportunity yet amidst the endless death loops.

In Ho found Gi Hun's ramblings both confusing and amusing. He knew he had no intention of killing Gi Hun. He simply wanted to see how Gi Hun would fulfill his vow in the Limo to stop the game, using his futile efforts to entertain the game's VIPs. He thought that perhaps going along with Gi Hun's delusions and convincing him to continue playing would be enough.
Then, he suddenly felt a sharp impact in his chest. As he looked down, he saw the jagged shard in Gi Hun's hand, deeply embedded in his chest. The shock, the blood, and the screams made everything that followed blurry. Then, there was darkness. In the darkness, Gi Hun's voice drifted away, tinged with surprise: "This is the first time you actually gave me the chance to kill you."
Next, In Ho woke up in his own bed, about to start his day, welcoming the game players, and preparing for the annual game. In Ho was stunned. He felt that it wasn't a dream; the eerie sensation was too vivid, making his hair stand on end. Could it be that he was also trapped in Groundhog Day? If Gi Hun killed him, then he would start a new cycle. If he killed Gi Hun first, then Gi Hun would begin a new cycle. That's why Gi Hun said In Ho kept killing him over and over again.
So, if In Ho didn't want to be killed repeatedly by Gi Hun and remain trapped in the cycle, he would have to work with Gi Hun to find a way to break this loop.

When they finally left the playing field, In Ho could no longer contain himself. He grabbed Gi Hun's collar and demanded to know what was going on—did he want to die in the game? Gi Hun looked directly into In Ho's eyes, staring at him for a moment before suddenly bursting into laughter and saying, "I've always wondered, what exactly is this place?"
In Ho was stunned. Gi Hun continued, "You never wanted to answer me, so I'll ask again: Is this your heaven or my hell?" In Ho was at a loss for words. He scrutinized Gi Hun's eyes and began to believe that due to an overdose of the anesthetic, they had driven this poor man into a state of mental derangement.
In Ho decided to play along with Gi Hun to see the extent of his delusion. After pressing him with a few more questions, he finally heard Gi Hun's explanation.
Gi Hun claimed he was trapped in a Groundhog Day scenario, where he was repeatedly killed by In Ho. Sometimes, Player 001 would eliminate him in various ways during the game; other times, he would wear the Frontman's mask and torture Gi Hun to death in different manners. On one occasion, Gi Hun had just woken up in the dormitory to find In Ho standing by his bed, blowing his head off with a gunshot.
After enduring this relentless torment, Gi Hun began to believe that either he was being punished for his inability to save anyone in the game, condemned to hell to suffer the agony of being killed over and over again by In Ho, or this was In Ho's heaven, where he had trapped Gi Hun to repeatedly torture and kill him for his own amusement. After all, the Frontman was a murderer who created deadly games and had thousands of lives on his conscience. Perhaps he had finally discovered this ultimate pleasure through supernatural means.

However, Gi Hun's reaction was unexpected. He widened his eyes and then began to sneer. In Ho had a feeling that Gi Hun had known his true identity from the very first glance. In Ho started to suspect whether Jun Ho had told Gi Hun that his brother was the Frontman, and perhaps even shown him In Ho's photo.
But for now, he couldn't afford to stand out too much among other players. He dragged Gi Hun to the side and continued to apologize for bumping into him while carefully checking his condition. He found that Gi Hun's physical state was fine, but his mental state was strange. However, time was pressing, and In Ho had no choice but to enter the playing field with Gi Hun as Player 001.
Gi Hun was unusually quiet on the field and showed no intention of participating in the game. In Ho felt increasingly puzzled, but to unravel the mystery of Gi Hun, he first needed to ensure his survival. In Ho had to hold Gi Hun' along's hand and protect him behind himself to get through the first round. Gi Hun remained indifferent and weary, passively allowing In Ho to guide him.

In Ho allowed Gi Hun to return to the game. After knocking Gi Hun unconscious with anesthetic gas, the Pink Soldiers conducted a thorough search on him. Since the inspection took a long time, they used a second dose of anesthesia and finally found and removed the tracker hidden in Gi Hun's dentures.
In Ho felt that he had completely taken care of Gi Hun and then sent him to the players' dormitory.
Then, In Ho saw Gi Hun wake up and get out of bed on the surveillance camera, but Gi Hun's behavior was somewhat odd. He stared blankly at the camera with a dazed expression, neither paying attention to the Pink Soldier's speech about the game and signing the consent form nor talking to any other players.
In Ho began to worry that the anesthetic used to Gi Hun have caused problems. He certainly didn't want his special player die casually in the first round due to physical issues. He wanted to find out what was wrong with Gi Hun.
Without waiting for the start of the first round of the game, he put on the 001 tracksuit, appeared on the staircase, and then pretended to bump into Gi Hun, grabbing him to check on his condition.
