What is joy?

Joy is different than happiness because when you have joy you can always rely on it. For example I find joy in The Lord nothing that can happen will take that away from me. But with happiness it's only a temporary satisfaction. I'm happy but in a hour I may be sad. So to me joy is that fulfillment, long lasting trust, and praise in something that can't be taken from you. But that's my definition
