Powered through a really exhausting week, there were so many things to deliver on and I guess I finished the biggest of them all…
Yet another tiring weekend, so thankful to be able to just switch off and sleep for a good 5 hours without that naggy feeling of not delivering.
I’ll do better next week :)

I remember thinking how pedantic it was that an ex colleague used to check the dashboards on weekends to ensure the data was flowing in
how the tables have turned…

What do we live for exactly?
Is that why instant gratification just resonates so strongly?

Started watching “The Hills” almost a decade too late (maybe later not sure) but drats because I love it.
It is the sort of series I would’ve just died watching forever but also thank God Netflix wasn’t a thing when I was in JC/Uni.
Ok gotta chiong.

2023.
Prioritising health, mental well-being and trying to be present in the moments that matter.
I have to say I thought the last month of December would see me getting more respite (the kind that energizes you) but it ended up becoming one of those waves where you sleep enough to get by; it’s been more or less dealing with periodic slumps by virtue of womanly cycles and/or a general dip in motivation.
Just hoping for better days in 2023. 2022 could’ve been worse, it wasn’t the worst and there was much to be thankful for.
Godspeed to everyone I still keep in touch with :) ♥️

sometimes I feel like the building blocks which make up life are somewhat like a wheel system, you spend so long trying to assemble the parts together only to realise you’re missing the hub.
why do I feel this constant drag; if only this were aerodynamics 101.
It’s a constant struggle like…what are we trying to achieve here?

Wide awake at 4am and suddenly remembering something someone said but just realising how tough it can be for foreigners to eke out a living overseas.
Frankly though, some of them are just so much more skilled than locals. Ashamed but true.
Knowledge outflow is real.
