Sylus strode through the dark house leisurely like a predator looking for his prey. The only sound heard throughout the house was your humming coming from the lit kitchen.

Your ears were blocked by the padding of your headphones, listening to songs from the playlist. Sylus spotted you in the kitchen, back turned to him. A move that could prove to be quite fatal.

It happened immediately, giving you no time to react. Sylus had trappped you between his arms and the kitchen counter. He towered over you as your figure was stunned from the sudden entrapment. "Looks like I will have a delicious dinner today." His nose traced up your neck taking in your scent as it clouded his senses. The vanilla in your perfume smelled intoxicating.

"W-what, who are you!? How did you get in!?" You squeaked out.

"That's not exactly important right now, sweetie. But if you wish to know so bad, you had left your door open. I must say, it was a very tempting invitation. How could I ever ignore it. You are quite the careless one, you know?"

You struggled against his grip, trying to free yourself but his hold was strong and had secured you against him. Struggling was futile. His strength overwhelmed yours.

"Shh, don't fight it. It will be over soon, succumb to m-"

"CUT!" Your voice sounded loud in the quiet house. "Cut, cut, cut! What did I tell you about dragging out this part more Sylus?" You sighed for the nth time, taking off your headphones and turning to face him.

"Sweetie, you said to be more tempting."

"Tempting while also dragging out this part, Sylus. Bring out the tension, the heat, the intensity, the predatory vibes."

Sylus also sighed for the nth time rubbing his eyebrows. "Predatory vibes?" He raised an eyebrow at you. "You and your fantasies. When do you even come up with such ideas in your busy schedule? Aren't nurses supposed to have their hands full without any rest?"

Lately, you had wanted to do roleplay with your vampire boyfriend. It was like you were trying to fulfill all those fantasies you used to have while reading those vampire stories as a teenager. Though that phase is long gone, what's wrong with a little roleplay now and then to lighten up the mood and relieve stress.

"Don't ask. That's one of my only means of escape during my nightmarish schedules. Oh, come on! You don't even shine like Edward Cullen so just act out this for me. Pretty please?" You gave him those puppy eyes which he couldn't ever say no to. Not that he ever said no to you.

"You demand too much, sweetie." He trapped you between him and the counter again, leaning into you.

You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, a wicked grin on your lips. "And you always give in to my demands."

Sylus's eyes crinkled up, lips forming an adoring smile. "You make it all too easy to adore you like this, sweetie." His fingers pushed back a stray lock of hair behind your ear.

"Then you better make sure to act out your part well, Mr. Sylus."

artist!reader who was a known name around the art community in Linkon and around the world with her soulful paintings. Paintings sold at high prices and in high demand. That was until Rafayel showed up.

artist!reader whose work and techniques were constantly compared with Rafayel, the genius artist whose paintings brought out profound feelings from the viewers. The art critics, always favouring Rafayel, saying how his paintings were much more impactful than yours.

artist!reader who feels incredulous at the fact that the merry appearance of another artist all of a sudden has turned years of hardwork into nothing. The same people who praised your paintings, now criticized them for small things. Always saying how Rafayel is much better in every aspect. How he pulls out emotions from people's hearts. How he was much more superior than you.

artist!reader who tried to ignore the criticisms at first. Maybe if you tried to do things a bit differently then you would be back in the spotlight. Maybe then everyone would adore your paintings again.

artist!reader who feels herself slipping more and more into that dark hole of obsession. What was so good about his paintings? Why weren't you the one being praised? What were your paintings missing? WHAT WAS IT THAT MADE HIM SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOU?

artist!reader who constantly feels that she is inferior to Rafayel. It was driving you crazy. Sleepless nights trying to perfect your art. Every waking moment spent frantically thrashing your paintings because they weren't good enough. You weren't good enough. Angry tears spilt from your eyes. This isn't right, you thought as you tried fixing the painting again.

artist!reader who goes to one of Rafayel's exhibitions again but this time with a mask and cap on, trying to stay out of his sight. You were walking around trying to find the center piece for today's exhibition when you came across a painting. The painting depicted beautiful ruins under the ocean. Lemuria, you thought to yourself. You wanted to move on and look for the other painting but your eyes were stuck on this one. The play with the lighting, the way the water seemed to sparkle ever so slightly, the old, withered ruins that seemed to weep because of how no one could see them anymore, the different shades of blue mixing together cohesively to form this ethereal painting. You were mesmerized by it, your brain trying to etch every single bit of the painting in your mind.

artist!reader who didn't realise that there was another presence beside her now. "You seem to be too awestruck with my painting." You snapped out of your thoughts looking up beside you to see Rafayel. You turned your head back immediately trying to cover your face with the cap. "Y-yeah, uhh, I have to go now..." You practically sprinted out of the exhibition hall. You didn't want to see him. Didn't want him to see you looking like a mess because of your feelings of jealousy and awe towards him.

artist!reader who went back to her studio and immediately started working on an art piece. Rafayel didn't see you as a competition. He was there, painting what he liked. He painted for himself and that made you so angry. How was he so unbothered with everything while you felt miserable here? Why did only you feel such strong ugly feelings towards him? Why did only you see him as competition? You projected every feeling of yours towards Rafayel in the painting. The respect you felt for him. The envy you felt towards him. The calmness you felt after seeing his painting. Admiration, listlessness, frustration, anger. Everything you had ever felt towards him, all in one painting.

artist!reader who had the painting displayed among many of her other paintings in her next exhibition. But this painting, titled "Catharsis", remained the center of attraction throughout your whole exhibition. You were the spotlight again. Everyone praised you telling you how full of emotions it felt. How it invoked strong feelings in them. You felt on cloud nine from all the compliments you received but then you saw him.

Rafayel, standing in front of your painting, observing it. Your breath hitched in your throat. He was looking at the painting which you had made after him. He felt your gaze and turned to look at you and that's when it hit you. That look in his eyes. He knew what the painting was about. It felt like you had been punched in your guts. You excused yourself, briskly walking towards the washroom. You wanted to escape that gaze which seemed to see through your entirety. You washed your face with water and looked up at your reflection in the mirror. You could see the eyebags which your makeup had not been able to hide. The crazed look in your eyes. You looked miserable. Were you truly happy receiving compliments over a painting made with your ugly feelings? You felt sick and nauseous.

Rafayel knew how you felt towards him and it embarrassed you so much. You couldn't believe that you had let your obsession over perfection take over your passion for art. Your obsession to outrun him and make him notice you. You had forgotten the sweet feeling of completing a painting and admiring it. You had forgotten how it felt to work without feeling anxiety within you. The need to perfect the painting. You only had one sole outlet for your feelings. Rafayel. And you let yourself get angry with him. How could you let your rationality be clouded? You couldn't let this ugly charade go on for any longer.

artist!reader who slowly learned how to enjoy art and the process of making it again. You couldn't let go of your art so easily and so you took a break from the art industry, focusing on yourself and your art. You had realized that the whole spiral of wanting to get better could easily turn into a disaster. People in the community talked about you and your fall from stardom but did you care anymore? It had been difficult at the start but you slowly came to terms with it. You wanted your peace back again.

During your break, you had somehow become close acquaintances with Rafayel. You met him one day when out on your excursion to find inspiration. You were still trying to recover from what had happened. You still had a lot of feelings to sort out and you didn't want to meet him again in this state of mind. But Rafayel made it easy to let go of whatever you felt and embrace yourself again. He understood your feelings and situation. He wasn't angry at you or felt disgusted by your feelings. He knew how people could lose themselves in the things they worshipped. He didn't judge you and it made you relieved.

Rafayel who in his own small ways helped you distress. Picking seashells on the beachside and learning how to make pigments from them. Sitting by the beach and listening to the ocean. Painting together in silence and complimenting each other's painting and giving advice. You felt like you had developed some kind of comradeship with him and it made you feel happy. It wasn't so bad after all, to get to know him. You enjoyed being around him and felt the same calmness which you had felt when you had seen his painting.

artist!reader who came back to the art scene months later with new paintings which were highly anticipated. The critics started their comparisons again but now you didn't care about it. You had found your peace with the same person who was once the cause of your restlessness.

artist!reader who didn't hate Rafayel anymore but felt something akin to liking and Rafayel who felt the same. You both had found your peace in each other and that's all that matters anymore.

So I woke up to a rather delightful sight today morning and I would like you all to experience the sight with me as well.

...... Yeah... I spot you all. Hoyo was for some reason (Bless that reason) Very nice to give us this early Christmas present. The new CN MR event Sweetheart's gift conveys what it wants to with its title and cards. They ARE the gifts.

Luke looks so innocent like a puppy, he just wants to be a good boy. Artem looks damn good and hot with his disheveled state, kind of confused but excited for what's about to happen and is happening. On the other hand, our Dr. Richter looks so calm and composed, looking at us with the all knowing going in his eyes beckoning us to come forward and do whatever we want with him. And Marius... Oh God... Marius von Hagen. The things he does to me... The disheveled state, the mischievous look in his eyes and the god damn smug in his lips.

Uhm, my emotions went a bit rampant there but other than the gifts, I also love the decorations and aesthetic here. The Christmas vibe can totally be felt from the cards. Not to mention the cute, small things we have in the cards like Santa hat hair clip on Luke or the ring on Vyn'd finger which has a V on it or Marius' Christmas themed earrings. I love it all and it's very difficult to choose which one ml I should go for.

Sooooo, Vyn does things to me and I am finally back to posting some stuff. Blame uni for me not posting but anyways! We are here today to talk about Vyn GOD DAMN HOT Richter.

The moment I start thinking he can't be prettier HOYO PROVES ME WRONG. Sorry for being so aggressive but this man is so cute and pretty and handsome at the same time. I was fangirling so hard over this. Vyn with messy hair is love✨

Did I mention this has the same SSS system as the 3rd anniv? If no then there you go. I have no hope of getting so many copies of this card but let's hope Lady Luck shows some mercy on me. The interactions are to die for so good luck to everyone pulling! May all the odds be in your favour.

I am going absolutely feral over the reveal of new CN cards for third anniversary. Let me reveal it to you all. You all might scream.

Not Marius manspreading. Luke is handcuffed. Vyn is being backed up on his piano and Artem is being a baby girl. sigh HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR WHEN THEY LOOK LIKE THIS. At this point Ho yo is just testing our patience. The invitations are so damn good like look at these.

They will have me broke next year.

I didn't expect the third anniversary to be centered around home planning but it's such a welcome idea. It went from wholesome to straight up sensual. Now if all are still sane after seeing this, congratulations because I wasn't and still am not. I wish all the players pulling for them in cn server best of luck and strength to all us global players since it's going to be a tough year waiting while knowing about these cards.
