S.H.I.E.L.D. was aware of several of Loki's private residences and they were watched with much scrutiny. Super-villain homes often looked normal enough (Doctor Doom's aside), but that was just from the outside. How could he be certain that Loki didn't have any crazy occult spells or experiments going on?
Maybe S.H.I.E.L.D. could call in Doctor Strange to scan those homes, but until they had any true reason to scan and enter those places, no one would be doing so anytime soon.
Coulson looked at the card, glancing down at the number briefly. It looked legitimate enough, but he'd have to run some scans on it before he tried it. Taking he card, he tucked it into his breast pocket before speaking again.
"So no calling you to get me pizza?" He shouldn't be joking with the god that almost killed him, but he was doing so only to stall for more time while he silently processed all that Loki had told him so far.

"I'd like to help in any way I can to rectify this situation, sir."
Although he was a competent agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. he knew there was little he could do unless he got some help. Hopefully these people would do so.
"Trend?" So he isn't the first to arrive here in the supposed future accidentally. Coulson wondered just how often it happened to get that sort of weary reaction from the captain.
Coulson knows only about as much as he can observe about the Captain and he gets the feeling he probably won’t like him very much.
"A long story, much of it classified. What I can tell you is this was a complete accident. I was temporally displaced by an alien device. "
But he would keep those opinions to himself, as usual. Professionalism first.

"I apologize for the inconvenience my presence may cause."

“I think I saw ‘SHIELD’ listed in a dusty old history book, once." "Which begs the question; What are you doing on my ship?"

I've told you several times before, Loki: it has legally been changed to Philip J. Coulson.

Vacation doesn't suit me.
Hm.
[He takes another sip of coffee.]
I know I should be content to be back, but it feels strange not to have any paperwork or mission debriefings waiting for me on my desk.
