She knew, logically, that all their money had to go towards their house fund if they were ever gonna be able to get out on their own, to leave Chicago and their parents behind. But, for Ricky, Jenny figured she could splurge just a little. The garage was cleaned up, pizza and liquor resting on the work bench. A night away from work, just the two of them...what more could she ask for?
Almost as soon as Ricky appeared, Jenny moved forward, wrapping her arms tightly around her boyfriend’s much larger frame for a long moment. Pulling back with a bright grin, she greeted softly, “Happy anniversary, Ricky.”
