Littles who scream, cry, crash out and throw fits.

If you’re just not ready to handle ALL aspects of little space. The good, the bad, the cutesy, the ugly, etc.

I refuse to believe that you aren’t okay with Little Space unless you’re ready to handle the ENTIRE Little Space. It is a HUGE red flag for me.

i don’t usually do babyre stuff because i regress a bit older and in general just prefer older aesthetics, but i tried my best! I used lots of blue and some green, as well as dinosaurs and doggies !! i lot of baby stuff uses pastel colors which makes sense but i don't really like pastel colors so i had try harder to find some more saturated and colorful things !!

Are we all aware of what a coping mechanism is??? Are we all aware that involuntary regression doesn’t care how big and tough and strong you are on the outside??? The difference between regression in most media and what we make is that we explore the idea to its fullest potential and let them use regression as a method to heal without judgement.

If you think only characters who look “cute” are allowed to be small I am begging you to understand that it doesn’t work that way in real life either! All littles deserve to regress!

What is age regression?

Age regression is a coping mechanism for people who have gone through trauma while growing up or have missed out on having a childhood/teenhood (for an example if someone is trans and missed out having a childhood as the correct gender or if someone had to be a parent to their younger siblings and missed out on having a childhood of their own).

Types of regression?

Online you usually see people regressing to very young, around 1-6 however people can regress to any age including teen years.

There is also 'pure' and 'impure' regression. 'Pure' regression is what's mostly shown online where it's dressing in cute, comfy outfits, colouring and watching cartoons. 'Impure' regression is characterised by tantrums, being upset or focusing on the cause of age regression. (I'm using '' because some people dislike the terms "pure" and "impure" as they make it seem like there is a good and bad way to regress which isn't true at all)

How do people regress?

It can be different for everyone and vary based on what age they're regressing to and what the main cause for it is. Some people need to rely on someone else to take care of them, like to dress and eat their age while doing fun activities when others prefer to do it alone and might just watch cartoons or hold a stuffed animal. There is no right or wrong way to regress and just people you see someone else doing it one way doesn't mean your regression should be like that either.

What is a caregiver?

A caregiver is someone who takes care of a little. Not everyone has or wants a caregiver and that's okay. If someone is in a relationship then usually their partner is their caregiver however a caregiver is not a romantic thing. Also if you're dating someone who regresses you do not have to be their caregiver, never let anyone pressure you into being a caregiver or looking after them if you're not comfortable with it. On the flip side don't let anyone pressure you into their little or regressing around them.

sometimes I see criticism towards online agere communities mostly boil down to “why don’t they discuss the negative or traumatizing parts of age regression and only the positive parts ?” and my response is…why would I do that?

seriously why would I share very sensitive, personal information about myself, my mental health and my trauma on a social media website? be so fr rn. it would add 0 benefit to my life and mental health and just leave me vulnerable to predators and bad people.

you know who I do talk to about those things with? my therapist. my psychiatrist. ykno, the people who I pay to listen to me talk to about my mental health problems.

I think people have gotten used to others constantly oversharing about their mental health issues that when others don’t do it, it makes them uncomfortable. idk that’s just a personal theory but I can’t think of another reason why someone would want a community full of trauma survivors and those struggling with mental health issues to share intimate and personal details abt their struggles for funsies
