evelynn gradually closes her locker as akali greets her, a smile fighting to make way to her lips. managing a straight face, she raises a brow as the student continues to go on about her birthday. most feared her, opting to not do the very thing that the girl speaks of, but she finds it charming non the less.

"i definitely didn't expect you to get me anything." evelynn says carefully, glancing around before leaning closer to accept the bag from her. her face lights up at the very idea of akali stepping foot into the store for her, and she cannot cease the smile any longer. "but thank you, i'm sure this wounded your ego greatly."

with a light laugh, she places a hand on the assassin's shoulder before leaning closer. leaving a ghost of a kiss onto her cheek, evelynn whispers to her ear. "meet me by my dorm later."

“baby!” akali grins, pulling her into a one-armed embrace as she plants a kiss right on her girlfriend’s lips. “i got you something. well, made you something. remember the lyrics i was trying to write with you the other day?” she stays close, arm around evelynn as her smile turns a little cheeky, mouth pressing against the corner of evelynn’s. “i was trying to prepare something for you that time. ‘til, y’know, i got distracted.”

with her free hand, she brings out a CD encased in a decorated casing, as if it were a prestige edition of a special disc. and it’s meant to be, especially since it’s for evelynn. on the front of the casing, the words My Forever are engraved.

akali draws her in right as she's about to cuss someone out on the internet for even daring to believe that their ep wasn't 'that good'. luckily for the sap, she's instantly distracted, chasing the chaste kiss before leaning into the one armed embrace of her girlfriend. "darling," she coos, a smile of her own etching its way onto her lips. "well, that's certainly not my fault."

eyebrows raise as akali brings out the cd. "you wrote me an album?" she'd not know what day it was, were it not for the thousands of gifts blades sent to their penthouse. hardly a day she celebrates herself ( because why? it's a fake nameday used only to disguise herself ) yet her lover has taken it seriously to gift her something so thoughtful. a laugh escapes her, humbly, before she leans in for another kiss. then another.

"you didn't have to," she says between more. "but thank you, love."

"Here," Diana extended her hand holding a meticulously wrap book towards her. It was actually a notebook, a crafted one with a leather cover with details in violet and silver. "It's...uh--...for your birthday. What I mean is to say is...Happy Birthday Evelynn." (BA! verse)

Evelynn had spent most of her day relaxing and most certainly ignoring whatever their teachers were spewing for nonsense. While some classmates had tried to muster some sort of a celebration her way, most opted for the safe choice of ... doing nothing.

Needless to say, there's plenty of surprise that dons Evelynn's features as Diana present the gift to her. Soon a smile forms, a sparkle to her eyes that hadn't been present all day. "I -- uh, wow." Often not at a lost for words, she takes a moment to graciously accept the gift into her hands, digits tracing at the edge of the leather cover.

"it's beautiful, Diana." Her smile is genuine, pearl whites present before she takes the notebook close to her chest. "Thank you."
