...Dragon!Sylus whose tongue is so very long and forked and lined with rows of tiny backwards-facing spines, same as a cat's, except several times larger. Useful for stripping every scrap of meat off the bones of his prey. Absolutely not so good when he gets the constant, irresistible urge to use it on you at all hours of the day.

He's able to manipulate the spines, somewhat, to lay them a bit flatter, but it still feels like coarse sandpaper being scraped against your skin.

In the mornings you wake up to his generous grooming, licking your face and neck thoroughly to clean every bit of dirt and grime off of you, making sure not to leave anywhere untouched, unmarked.

In the afternoons, after a successful hunt, he beelines to you with the singular intent to give you his affectionate greeting-licks—you fight him each time, hollering things like please kindly wash your mouth of that bison's blood before you do that—and the abrasions leave you feeling rather tenderised.

And in the evenings, when you're tangled up with him in your shared nest, little more than a mess of limbs, wings, claws, fangs, and that tongue of his, well...

when house finds you trashtalking him to foreman once, he feels... something other than angry, for sure. and for the week after that, he relentlessly bullies you. calls you every name under the sun for a day or two, seeing as you are basically immune to his bullshit, he decides to treat you differently. he digs into your past, calls up people from your hometown, middle school, old employers, people in your apartment complex. anyone. he snoops in your apartment, diaries, books you like, anything. and then comes a few days of horrible, personalized insults. every word makes you shudder in hatred for him. and then you snap. you slap house across the face. hard. his cheeks red as your palm shudders in pain. you insult him this time. pathetic fucking loser, you call him. house stands in pure shock as he listens to you; one hand in his pocket, one hand on the stinging cheek. you storm out, say you're quitting. your eyes are red from tears, they glisten in the pale light entering house's office at that hour.

house goes back home. gently pressing his cheek – the place where you hit him – smiling at the delicious pain. he whips out the dictaphone from his pocket, playing your breakdown. every word, since you barged into his office, was adding to the blood flowing south. he could barely think. the growing tent his pants, he can't help but stroke his dick to you. your anger. you hate him. you're being so mean. he feels his cheek again. god, he hopes it bruises.
