Re: the "Bumpers" that began on Dropout today
This was just commented on Reddit by Andrew Bridgeman (Chief Digital Officer at Dropout). So looks like it's a) not a Game Changer thing, b) not an ad thing, and c) disabled. Worth spreading to people with Dropout Fanblogs to get the word out, as I've seen a lot of people jumping to conclusions about what it's about.

"y'all's" is the best regional solution to the english second person plural possessive problem but "your guyses" is my favorite because it sucks

One of my favourite post formats is when someone with a similar URL to op torments them like they are failed clones of each other and it completely changes the tone of the original post.

The real reason why you need to be social is the best chinese place within 10 miles is an unknown hole in the wall with a yearly marketing budget of $15 dollars and you will never, ever find it unless someone tells you about it.

if you like crafting and also free things, might i suggest the antique pattern library?
it’s a not for profit that’s gathering books, patterns, and other materials related to crafting that are out of copyright (or getting permission from copyright holders in some cases) in order to share them online. they scan items, clean them up, then make everything available for free!
free things are great, especially when you’re just starting to get into something. like oh, i’m supposed to spend money on this hobby i just picked up 20 minutes ago???
the first time i ended up on the site, i seriously spent hours just trawling through everything. there’s the usual suspects like knitting, crochet, embroidery, but there’s also woodwork, calligraphy, and books on things like how to mount and frame pictures. with cross stitch patterns, they also make modern charts with the dmc colour codes available.
links to their webbed site and instagram:

behold, a glorious cat cross stitch pattern (link goes to antique pattern library page):

i’m not against vaping, but man, vaping two inches from my face on the subway is a ridiculous asshole kind of move. this dude was billowing like he was auditioning for the role of haunted house fog machine. the humidity in the whole car changed, he was ruining haircuts. just jump starting the water cycle. condensation was dripping down my glasses. people were slipping off poles, it was chaos. it was like watching one man try to terraform the moon. a planet with one dense, root beer scented atmosphere blocking out the sun and choking all life.

People always talk about cats being soooo solitary and sooo independent as if these aren't the creatures that will scream and cry so so loudly if you try to piss by yourself
