Week 16
During week 16, it was time for us to present our website and manuscript. It was rather taxing as well as it being a memorable experience. It was a difficult process and honestly late nights have become the norm for us in our group. I believe that this course will hold a special place in our hearts as well as sir Carl!

Week 15
During week 15, We had our quiz 2 and practically the final week in properly meeting up with Sir Carl. I believe that despite the arduous journey we had encountered is that sir Carl believed in us to accomplish any of the tasks that was given to us with flying colors. We appreciate the time and effort that was made by Sir Carl for us to work on ourselves and our website as well. It was a momentous occasion that we even partake in making up several messages to appreciate how great of a teacher Sir Carl is. We thought of it as our own way to help sir Carl appreciate how important he is to our website journey and how he will always be deeply remembered as one of the most influential teachers ever.
We love you sir Carl!!!! Thank you for being the most influential teacher ever and we deeply appreciate you in having the patience to handle 3+ sections despite all of it!

Week 14
During week 14, we conducted testing of our website with the help of fellow classmates after we had taken our Quiz 1. Quiz 1 was definitely kinda hectic and had alot of things packed into 1 quiz that makes it so hard as well to answer. It was basically information overload that makes it so hard. That week was rather exhausting and full of events that makes it so rewarding as well.

Week 13
During week 13 we started working on our papers for submission during week 16. We had to basically overhaul a lot of things especially in chapters 3-5 as it tackled more on the overall system and how it worked in the process. We handled test cases and the like in order to fully test the progress of our website. We also updated the UI in chapter 4 to coincide with our website as well.
Overall, Week 13 was a fairly hectic week and was filled with numerous tasks that were assigned to each of us.

Week 12
In week 12, we as a team decided to finalize our login page, signup page, and our dashboard. It was an arduous process as it became harder as we progress throughout our website especially in returning certain values that make up the login page.
During week 12 as well is the topic 1 and 2 f2f lesson in which we learned from sir Carl how important it was for quality assurance to surface in our website and how it important it is to the customer.
It was quite a knowledgeable week as we tackle on several things all at once.

Week 11
During week 11, We finally finalized on how our website should look like in terms of its landing page. As a team, we finalized on this look as it feels much easier on the eyes as well as having a rather business air on it despite how "cool" it is. The landing page offers a variety of options to entice users into using it as well.
Week 11 was also when we were introduced to topic 1 which is to assess the software's reliability and to manage its quality as a website to be used by users.
It was a fairly fun week as we had tested stuff and practically everything else.

"The A Team!!!"
10.18.24
During week 10, We presented our PIT and with that came along a rush of things especially in our frontend as there were slight problems in figuring out the dashboard as well as the Login page with it not being case sensitive. Regardless, despite the time constraints, We still managed to deliver the desired output to the best of our abilities. We also heavily thank sir Carl for his time and effort to teach us our mistakes and what we lack in our system. Without him, it would be easy to say it's fairly hard to determine if our system is going on the right path or not.
We happily got a 91 and 90 from our project which is called "Startup Compass". It's definitely a perfect middle ground for us. However, We will still strive to achieve a better and heavily improved system next time to ensure that our efforts will be rewarded through a higher grade.

"EXAM DAAAAYY: KABOOOM!"
10.14.24
In our 9th week of the subject SDE, We took our exams and with that came a tiring week for us students. I was feeling a bit nervous as we also had an exam before our SDE exams so I was unable to prepare that much for the SDE exam. Regardless, I was able to answer it to the best of my abilities and hopefully enough get a score that can make up for the quiz scores I had gotten. Tackling the exam was in itself a very hard experience with numerous situations and terms to come in terms with.

"Quiz Time: Part 2 :(("
10.11.24
In our 8th week of SDE, We took part of the Quiz that Sir Carl had made. It was filled with questions that are not part of the multiple choice like the first quiz we had. Therefore it was hard on us as we dutifully answered the questions regardless of whether or not we were correct or not. Naturally, I had a hard time with the quiz and I was not able to fully rely on the information I had studied all throughout as I was unable to prepare beforehand due to several things that had needed to be done outside the SDE subject.
Regardless of how it turned out, I still more or less learned a bit more from the said quiz even if its results are subpar.

"Quiz Time!!!!"
During our 7th week in SDE, We took an online quiz which was composed of several questions that pertains to Topics 2 and 3. It was quite challenging as the questions were very hard and would eventually need you to focus and understand the questions thoroughly.
Regardless, I achieved a score of 23.00 which luckily enough is considered to be "passed" for today's quiz. I was quite happy with the results considering that the quiz was also hard.

"Facing Challenges, One step at a time"
9.27.24
In our 6th week of the course SDE or aka Software and Design Engineering, We experienced alot of things. I'd like to think the most notable experience during the class was that we had to analyze the SUS score of several respondents. Unfortunately, we were unsure of what the final answer was to that specific activity but we sure as hell had fun in doing the said activity made by sir Carl. But before that said activity, We of course had to discuss the topic pertaining to that activity. It was a rather very packed discussion and we had to consume several information that made it even more challenging for us. Sir Carl had then said that it was time for another quiz which was very daunting when we first heard it as his quizzes can be quite challenging and heavily tests your memory and how much information your brain can withstand.
Well anyhow, We still ultimately had fun in his subject. It was an information overload but we still made it and survived. I hope to learn more from this subject as we go on and on with his lessons.

"A Journey worth Thousands of Information: Testing self-capabilities"
9.13.24
Week 5 was just hell on earth. We had a quiz that was very hard in itself. The test consisted of different types in which if I remember correctly, the hardest part is its identification where you identify a solid number of items that speak of pattern designs and you would then determine what design pattern fits the criteria for the said scenario. It's a daunting experience especially when you are ill-equipped for the test itself.
However, I also think that the test was to determine how long the information retains in our minds during the discussion of topic 2. Therefore a refresher beforehand is definitely needed and should be noted for future quizzes. Simply put, It's definitely an experience worth to keep in mind.

"A Clash of Ideals: Development and Collaboration All in One"
9.06.24
I daresay that week 4 was quite bustling and stressful at the same time. Sir Carl Suasola discussed topic 2 and its contents on how development actually works and that there's a specific set of designs that need to be followed in order to maximize the project's potential. He also stated a lot of patterns that consists of different ways on how to handle software designs and the like.
Sir Suasola had also discussed on how to implement a system and its processes. I believe that topic 2 simply dealt with the principles, patterns, and designs that are eventually used in the development of our project. The topic itself was very informative but also very long that it made it hard to understand halfway through the topic due to information overload. However, due to the activity that Sir Suasola had made for us I'd think that really showcased how important the information was that had been relayed to us by Sir Suasola himself.
The activity consisted of developing a pseudocode and to determine its patterns that we think would fit the criteria for our topic which is to develop a documenting website similar to that of google docs while simultaneously being in a real-time environment. The group had alot of members while each member was assigned to do a different set of things as the time limit was fairly short. If I remember correctly, It was Robert and Fidel whom I had acquainted with in terms of handling the pseudocode. We brainstormed alot of ideas and how similar would it be to google docs. Eventually we figured out a way but naturally it also had its own set of flaws that were meticulously pointed out by one of our classmates from other groups as well.
Overall, It's a rather fun experience but also quite the stressful one since developing a pseudocode would need us to brainstorm ideas within a certain time in order to achieve the client's wishes which would be the documentation website similar to that of google docs.

"Developing Ideas: Project soon coming to fruition"
8.30.24
Within week 3 was jampacked as always, I was unable to attend the face-to-face meeting itself due to my ulcer triggering per the usual but before the said meeting. I met with my other members to discuss our project and how it will turn out while also figuring out how to develop our landing page and our interface. I left a bit early due to something urgent but naturally I contributed certain insights for us to work with. Eventually they took a picture without me which is sad but understandable at the same time since I was also out and about with an errand in tow.

"One step at a time"
8.23.24
The second week of our class with Sir Suasola had turned out to be an online meeting, specifically a video lesson due to being most of the week to be online classes. I personally think that the contents of the video are marvelous and speaks of the seriousness of software engineering and its other contents and naturally as a taker of this said course, it fills me with the necessary knowledge to have for this course itself and for our project management as a group.
I also believe that in the topics that were discussed all throughout the video is that it is crucial as a software engineer to be mindful of what clients are trying to pertain to as well as to adapt to the ever changing tides of software development and the likes.
To simply put it, the lessons that I had understood from the video lesson that Sir Carl Suasola left us with is that adaptation and being mindful of a client's wishes.

"Navigating through Endless Possibilities: My 3rd Year Journey with CPE_3B_2 and Engr. Carl Suasola"
08.16.23
My first day of the class was quite eventful personally. The class schedule of the System Design and Engineering course was quite late at night being at 6:00 to 9:00 PM. It was quite hard to keep up with such a schedule as late as that but naturally we had to do it of course. But that in itself wasn't too tiring, We had a class beforehand that made use of the same classroom as used in the System Design and Engineering course so getting to the room proved to be much easier and smooth sailing at the very least. Anyhow, back to the topic at hand, We definitely were kind of tired all throughout the day but as soon as Sir Carl Suasola entered the room the mood changed almost immediately. Some were tense and some were perceptive.
Engr. Carl Suasola explained throughout the lecture that it is important to communicate with your teammates and even outside your own comfort space. It is so to build ourselves the confidence to easily handle rapports with each other and other people.
Engr. Carl Suasola was fairly well known to be a good adviser that can keep their students in line with how one should work as a proper student. He is able to charismatically change the entire mood of the class by making jokes and basically just about anything to make his lectures ever more entertaining.
During his lecture, many were tired of course but that soon came to pass after he openly made jokes all throughout the entire class to keep our attention spans from wandering around. It was a good way to help our dwindling sanity from collapsing and he clearly delivered the things he wanted to say. Such as being on time in both lectures/classes and the daily/weekly submissions as one would receive a pending punishment or deduction of scores if done otherwise.
He also made sure that collaborations are the upmost priorities when it comes to his class. He specifically said that he "experienced" a lot of "dropping out" of their teammates from his class before, due to perhaps tardiness or even inside fighting. It was of course surprising to hear such a thing as I never did have any of the sorts but it's also very understandable as we are already 3rd year College students, we should be responsible for our work and shouldn't carry dead weight around.
Sir Carl had also said that while such things happen from time to time. One-on-One sessions with him should be conducted beforehand so as to assess what the underlying problems are and how we should solve such problems. It is so that no one in their team will be hindered in terms of performance and in turn will become more efficient when the problems within the group are solved.
Overall, I think that the lecture that he had done was quite something else. It was a very insightful lecture that could definitely help us for the long haul of the entire semester and possibly even more. With Engr. Carl Suasola's guidance, I hope to see more with what I can offer for this course.
