muse a and muse b have been close friends for years, their relationship always teetering on the edge of something more but never quite crossing that line. despite the tension, they've maintained a playful dynamic, cherishing their friendship above all else. one day, they decide to organize a gathering where they introduce all their significant others to each other. it's a casual event filled with laughter and camaraderie, as everyone knows and respects the unique bond between muse a and muse b. throughout the day, there are subtle moments of lingering gazes and inside jokes exchanged between muse a and muse b, hinting at the deeper connection they share.

currently desperately in need of messy exes who just happen to be famous musicians . muse a and muse b had a world altering situationship in high school before either of them ever achieved fame and muse a totally broke muse b's heart . muse b ends up channeling the heartbreak into songwriting and accidentally writes an ep that absolutely blows up . next thing muse a knows they're seeing their ex on every billboard and hearing their voice on the radio . but the twist is, from muse a's perspective muse b broke their heart . so they write an album about their own heartbreak as revenge, and wouldn't you know it, that goes viral too . give me muse b spotting muse a in the crowd at their first show, give me them arguing about it in muse b's dressing room directly after only to accidentally hook up, give me them both avoiding questions about who their songs are about in interviews, give me them sneaking around at award shows, give me them being caught in public by the paps and fans speculating about how they even know each other, give me 'every song i've ever written has been about you!' pls i need this so bad right now

Give me a plot with...

Muse A always had the biggest crush on Muse B when they were in their late teens. They flirted, they laughed, they shared secrets... but Muse A really was Muse B's secret.

They ran in different social circles. Muse A was more of an introvert and a hard worker in their hometown, while Muse B went to a college an hour away and partied his weekends away. Every so often, Muse B would ghost just long enough for Muse A to convince herself that her crush was only one-sided, only to reappear in town as if nothing happened.

Over time, their lives went down different paths. He married first, having two kids. She married a year later, having one of her own. Muse A and Muse B texted every so often through the years, birthdays, holidays and whatnot, but nothing more.

Now, 10-15 years later, Muse B found out his trophy wife is cheating on him. She declares she wants an open relationship to keep their perfect social image and wants nothing to change. He pays the bills, she is living her dream life, why would she want change?

Muse B is miserable. Muse A is content in her marriage, though it's a little dull and without much spark after ten years. Muse B reaches out to see if Muse A can go to lunch, just to "catch up" and he drops the bomb about his wife. It's all complicated but all he wants is Muse A's opinion and for her to be back in his life again.

What does Muse A do? Does she tell him how she broke his heart? Why does she still have butterflies? Does she risk her marriage to finally have a shot with Muse B?

𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒: muse a and muse b use to date when they were younger, they thought they would take on the world together - but, then something happened, and muse b started a rumour that ruined muse a's rep because muse b was insecure and 'found' someone else who was soothing the insecurity ( or feeding it up to you ). it hurt muse a to know that muse b did this, and after graduation, moved towns/citys/countries - and started fresh with new friends and finding themselves again - that is until five years later they spot muse b in their local cafe... do they talk to the person who had once been so vicious to them? or walk away?

𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐄𝐌: muse a and muse b have been in a realtionship for a while, and they've kept it on the downlow - not really bothering to tell anyone because, because then it makes it more real - and people will keep asking questions, even more so as everyone suspects that the pair are together but just won't admit it. muse a and muse b just like the comfort of the pair knowing each are there for each other, that them knowing was enough.

a plot where our muses were college sweethearts & have years worth of history. they dated for so long that their social circles from their younger years overlap, even in the present. muse a moved away after graduation and muse b stayed put. muse a moves back after pursuing their life goals, career & dreams. they both still have feelings for each other but are afraid to admit it so they just awkwardly wave at each other or don't speak at all for awhile.... until....

What if we do a mumu about a bunch of artist who have been struggling with inspiration and coincidentially they all receive an invitation from a rich guy on a luxury island who likes to be surrounded by musicians and painters and writers. Honestly we can do anything from there, from slightly creepy 'there's something wrong going on here' plots in the island to angsty character exploration of those troubled artists.

walking / muse a wants muse b and badly. they keep asking what it will take for muse b to give them a chance, for what is needed for them to progress a relationship. muse b is hesitant but muse a keeps saying all the right things. every time they talk muse a is spewing words and words of things to muse b to give in and give their relationship a chance. it's a dance of will they won't they. breathe / muse a and muse b are both in a dead end relationship but neither of them can admit that. neither of them want to be the person to cut it off because they have been together for so long that they aren't sure what life is without the other. muse a is asking for clarity on what muse b wants as muse b is always avoiding difficult conversations as they know it will lead to the end of them as as a couple. shouldn't couldn't wouldn't / muse a is begging for muse b to commit to their newfound relationship. they've been dating and hooking up for a while but muse b is reluctant to put a label on anything. muse a doesn't want to be friends and is making it clear that the only thing they want is commitment or nothing at all. muse b is running laps around the conversation when it comes up but it's down for muse a to force an answer out of muse b. muse b constantly calls muse a up for another hook up but muse a wants more than booty calls. just used music again / muse a is in the music industry and muse b is their on and off ex. every time muse b comes running back to muse a, they end up getting their heart broken again which creates another best selling album. it's a joke in their fandom that they almost thank whoever is hurting them for more and more songs but muse a hates the turmoil they are in with muse b. not only is muse a trying to protect themselves but they are also trying to make sure their fans do not find out who muse b is, as they are a normal person with a private life. muse b knows they are wrong but can't stop themselves from going back constantly.

plot where muse a is able to see ghosts and help them with their unfinished business so that they can ascend. now, in or after college they see the ghost of their ex, muse b, who’s unfinished business has something to do with muse a. however, their ghost form is different than most because it flickers/ disappears/ claims to hear distant voices. it turns out that muse b isn’t actually gone but in a medically induced coma. able to plot more upon request!

plot where muse a’s father (who is a shoe in for a promotion) gets invited on a ski trip with his boss and their family. muse b is the son/daughter of his boss. muse a and muse b both stay in the cabin during the days while everyone else hits the slopes for various reasons (ie. muse a is an introvert/never been snowboarding and doesn’t want to whereas muse b is suffering from an injury or something and physically can’t). the two couldn’t be more different and spend the first few days kinda loathing each others company but eventually grow to like each other??

here for the holidaze plots.

1. swore enemies are picked to plan and execute the company/staff christmas party. 2. a friend group who rigs the secret santa because they know that the two in the group who bicker constantly actually have feelings for each other. 3. the holiday season isn't cheap, and so muse a gets a part time job as a santa helper at the local market, where they run into muse b, who has a child or younger sibling who is incredibly friendly and takes a shine to muse a. 4. after hunting and hunting for the perfect gift, muse a and muse b end up at an impasse where they'd both like the gift for someone. 5. muse a and muse b are coworkers but barely know each other (or just don't like each other) but due to being the singles in the office, get stuck working together through the holidays. 6. a meetcute in the emergency room on christmas eve. 7. muse a cannot put together a damn christmas present and muse b cannot bear to watch such horrific wrapping skills. (could be roomates, neighbors, friends, the world is full of oysters. and they are yours.) 8. muse a and b end up faking an engagement at their friend's christmas party because muse a's ex is in attendence. (strangers or best friends are perfect) 9. depressed from the holiday season, muse a decides to do something nice for a stranger to get their mind off it. muse b is said stranger. 10. after a year of writing together (hello impulsive sign up for a christmas pen pal project), muse a and muse b decide to finally meet up for the one year anniversary of meeting each other, and for christmas. 11. muse a and muse b had a very messy breakup and now, eight months later run into each other at a christmas party. 12. muse a is stuck working the morning shift on christmas morning and muse b has no plans and decides to find somewhere to read or write or just, be on the holiday and wanders into muse a's shop. 13. muse a cannot afford to fly home for the holidays and so they impromptu invite their grumpy neighbor over to celebrate together. shockingly enough, muse b agrees. 14. it's christmas again, and muse a and muse b have lived across each other for three years running, hardly talking to each other but always competing for best door decoration each holiday. this year, they finally meet. 15. muse a bakes way too many cookies for the school bake sale (is a teacher, has a younger sibling or kid in the school). they end up sharing with muse b (a parent or other teacher or neighbor or the possibilities are endless) 16. muse a and muse b used to be best friends. everyone thought they'd end up together. muse a returns home for the first time since they left town and their parents have invited muse b for the holidays too. 17. muse a and muse b were best friends, inseparable and the night before muse b was going away for a long time, muse a and b confessed their feelings and slept together. muse a didn't want to ruin muse b's life when they discovered they were pregnant, so they keep the kid but tell no one who the father is. five years later, families still celebrating the holidays together, muse b finally comes home. only to find muse a with a child that looks remarkably familiar. 18. muse a is pretending to be their friend's lover for the sake of their friend's family. muse b is the sibling of said friend and has a connection immediately with muse a. 19. insert classic fake dating plot here. 20. insert classic holidate plot here. 21. muse a loses a be and has to wear a different ugly christmas sweater until christmas. muse b works at the pop up christmas shop. 22. muse a and muse b live in neighboring apartments (upstairs/downstairs, across the hall, shared wall). muse a is very bitter around the holidays. muse b plays their holiday tunes far too loud and far too often.
