Supplication that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ advised Fatima (RA) to make: O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsistent, by Your mercy I beseech Your help. Leave me not to myself nor to any of Your creation even for the blink of an eye. Set right for me all my affairs. [Bidayat al-Hidaya]

Do you feel trapped?
Remember Musa (AS) in front of the Red Sea. When no eyes could see a way out, his heart never lost trust in Allah to make a way out. And that’s exactly what happened!

To have khushu means to have reverence, deep fear and respect in the heart for Allah. Those who have khushu - you will not see them as arrogant, nor will they be people of pride, or boastfulness, they are the most humble people on Earth. They could be millionaires, they could belong to the highest of ranks, but if they have khushu in their hearts, you will find it easy to talk to them. They will actually belittle themselves in front of you, because they fear the Almighty Lord. That is the quality of a true believer.

Prophet Zakariyah’s (AS) wife was barren, and he was nearly 100 years old. Yet, because of his duaa, he was given a child. How then can we continue to believe in the concept of “impossible”?

You are not your past. Never allow a people to take you back to a place you so long ago bid farewell to.

Prayers are invisible, but they make impossible things possible. It is Allah’s job to work the wonders. Our part is simply to pray.

Remain full of hope as difficult as it may be or as long as it may take for that is the best and sometimes the only positive option we have.
