Gewoon luisteren en afdwalen... En het gaat eigenlijk alleen maar om het volgende zinnetje: 'maybe this year would be better then the last'

Day 21 'A song that you listen to when you're happy'

Er zijn veel liedjes waar ik vrolijk van word. Dat is het mooi van muziek, het wekt allerlei soorten emotie bij je op. Blij, verdrietig, boos, etc. En als ik helemaal 'happy' ben zijn er veeeeeeel liedjes die ik dan draai. Maar er is altijd 1 liedjes die blije herinneringen heeft en  die ik altijd draai in een uber vrolijke bui!!

Het heeft even geduurd.... maar we zijn weer terug en gaan verder waar we gebleven zijn... dus dag 20 van 30 songs challenge 

En vandaag... 'A song that you listen to when you're angry'

Boos zijn is zonde van je tijd... dus moet je proberen om zo snel mogelijk weer vrolijk te worden. Iets wat mij zeker niet altijd lukt want er blijft altijd wel een stukje 'woede' ergens achter in mijn hoofd... :-) Dus jezelf dan maar verliezen in de passende tekst en het fijne deuntje van The Ting Tings.

Day 19: A song from your favorite album

A bought the album 'Every Kingdom' from Ben Howard more then a year ago. And I can still listen to it every day. I love his voice, the lyrics and just everything about his music. I saw him playing live last December, and it was amazing. This is one of my favorite songs from the album so enjoy :-)

Day 17: A song that you hear a lot on the radio

Sorry.... i forgot my song yesterday. The question yesterday was: 'a song that you hear a lot on the radio'.... because I hear it a lot and maybe to much.. I will not put a video on my page. But the song is: Will.i.am - scream and shout. I like the song. But why do radio stations playing the same song over and over again.. that makes me hating songs and not wanted to listen to them anymore.. :-( 

Day 18: A song that you would love to be on the radio

I love listening to singer/songwriters. When I was in Sydney, Australia, I got to know Megan Washington. My friend bought her CD. And I loved it. I still listen to it a lot. So doesn't have that many records. But the ones she has, are great (in my opinion ). Hope you like it, and otherwise look her up on youtube or Itunes. Enjoy :-)

Just really hate this song.... use to love it. I even got the CD. Maybe it is the singer.... but this song.. I want to turn it off right away.... So this is a warning.. do not press the 'play' button.. ignore it. And wait for question 17 tomorrow. It's really not worth listen to it. ;-)

Day 13: Your guilty pleasure ;-)

Bij een Nederlands liedjes hoort natuurlijk een woordje in het Nederlands. Ik weet nog goed toen deze plaat uitkwam. Het was bij het zoveel jarig bestaan van 'Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden' en elke acteur uit de serie had een liedje gemaakt... Alle liedjes verzameld op een cassette bandje... en dat bandje moest ik natuurlijk hebben. En uiteindelijk grijs gedraaid... :-s En ik was ook erg blij toen Linda, Roos en Jessica een heel album gingen maken. Samen met vriendinnen op de weekviering op school optreden als Linda, Roos en Jessica. En zoals we er nog vaak aan worden herinnerd, zelfs opgetreden voor onze moeders... En zo onschuldig als we waren, hadden we natuurlijk geen idee waar we over playbackte. Wat wil je als je 10 jaar bent. Zingen over Ademnood... Ik denk dat ik de gedachte van onze moeders inmiddels wel kan lezen toen ze ons zagen. :-) Het liedje 'Ademnood' staat nog steeds in mijn muziek bibliotheek. Af en toe komt het plaatje voorbij en komt er toch weer een glimlach op mijn gezicht. Zo slecht maar oh zo leuk :-)

Day 12: a song from a band you hate....

This was a difficult one... because if I don't like a band then I just block it and totally forget about it. I have enough singers that I don't like... but the question was a BAND.. My first choice would be One Direction, but because I was 12 ones and a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys I thought it wasn't fair to choose a girl- or boyband that is really popular now. 

Because I just had no idea what to choose, a have chosen a TV show that I just don't understand... They are singing all together so it's kind of a band :-p and destroying one of my favorite songs... tssss stupid show. It's like they turn all these amazing songs into a musical... it's just not ok.

Day 11: A song from your favorite band

This song, this band, this perfect man, doesn't need an explanation. Just listen to it and you will find out why this is my favorite band. And yes, I was there at Pinkpop Festival in 2011... one memorable weekend, and memorable performance from the Foo Fighters. The most awesome band ever!!

Day 10: A song that makes you sleep

Nothings makes you fall a sleep better then music. And I mean that in a good way. Whenever I find it difficult to fall a sleep, I just put on the soundtrack of the movie Amelie. There is something dreamy about the music. You find yourself in this different world, dreaming of Paris. Dreaming of a life in Paris. Speaking French, because in real life the only word you can say is 'Bonjour'. Drinking good wine, enjoying the french cuisine. Walking true the beautiful streets of Paris having a gorgeous men by your side (French of course) And in the evening you go out and see Edith Piaf perform her beautiful songs. Your gorgeous French guy takes you home. At home you both still have the songs of Edith Piaf in your head. He grabs your hand and you find yourself dancing with this French guy. While dancing he is guiding you to the bedroom.......

........and then your alarm going off.. back to real life. Following your daily routine, there is no Paris, you can't speak French, the French guy is exchanged by a pillow and for breakfast you don't have a croissant but a bowl of cereal with milk. But when you sit down in the train to go to your work, you play the soundtrack on your Ipod again and for the next 40 minutes you're back in Paris ;-)

Day 9: A song that makes you dance

I find it difficult to find a song that makes me dance. That's because I'm definitely not a great dancer. But with this song I feel like I'm 16 again and losing myself in the beats of DJ Tiesto. And you just have to put your arm in the air and move a bit. There are no lyrics so there are no distractions. But the beat will bring you in a different world.

I was happy to see DJ Tiesto playing live in Spain. By then he wasn't the top DJ that he is right now.  But it was an evening to remember, and the song still puts my hands in the air ;-)

Day 8: Een liedje waar je alle woorden van kent :-)

Je bent 15 jaar, en je begint het 'uitgaansleven' te ontdekken. Je eerste zoen, je eerste liefde... en vele eerste keren komen voorbij. Maar ook je eerste gebroken hart... En je denkt dat je hele wereld instort. En er is eigenlijk maar 1 medicijn die op dat moment het beste is. Een zaterdagavond in de Big Fun ;-), vriendinnen een glaasje apfelcorn en heeeeeeel hard meezingen met Marco Borsato. 

Na je eerste gebroken hart zullen er een nog een aantal volgen. De Big Fun is er niet meer, een glaasje apfelcorn kan je niet meer echt verdragen maar Marco Borsato zal er altijd zijn om je hart weer een beetje te maken ;-)
