‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒ Yu-nae found the creatures sheer innocence of his responses endearing; or perhaps not innocence, but rather naïveté, as the human still was unaware of who this guy was or why Eggman decided to separate him from the other animals other than his ability to speak. For all they knew, this Airin could be some crazy powerful forest god that required sacrifices and would slaughter them the moment they released him.

They looked at the containment level of the cell: it had information on what potential threat the creature was as well as what kind of authorative permission was required to release the holdings or enter the cell. Regardless of what it said, Yu-nae feared the repercussions Eggman would deal out more than any possible god's wrath.

"I'm sorry, I wish I could, but I don't know how any of these doors work." They lied. "I promise I'll come back with your food, though."

" ...Salve, " he speaks slowly, as if thinking on how to pronounce what he wishes to say. Then the thrum returns as he sees Airin offer a hand, and Logar instinctively rests the end of his snout on it. " ...Qui? "

Oh, phewf, that's a smell. He understand now why Airin dislikes fish. If you have a friend whose breath smells like a rotten seafood market, he supposes that would turn someone off fish.

"Logar, eh. Hullo! You're a big fucking blighter, en't you? You remind me of another friend of mine! Bit bigger than you, even, but holy heavens, you're a SIGHT, man!"
