((Fully open to give follow ups to or play with as any character involved. Titled: “borrowing” power))
Wibta for borrowing a power orb to save a town?
So yesturday this kid Damien (14M) found (stole?) a power orb and pretty much went full bad guy mode about it. He’s turned his absurdly large collection of puppets into a gang of petty violence and is planning on naming himself king.
There aren’t a lot of magic users in town that could stop him, but I’m the protege of a witch who we’ll call Kinna (Old F). She says she’s too old to do hero stuff, so I said ‘fine, I’ll do it then!’ And she’s like ‘Oooooo, you’re not ready’ than hits me with a Still and says if I can escape on my own I can leave. And like, sure she’s right that I couldn’t escape, but I know I could if I had an orb. So I figured, I’ll just borrow her’s for a bit, defeat Damien over there and bring it right back. I feel a bit queasy about it though, my friends are giving me equally mixed signals so I might as well ask strangers if I’m messing up.

Warning: guns/death
Open to additions
Aita? My (18) hooligan killed my neighbors (22) fool with a real gun
I have a pet hooligan who likes to play around with cartoonish weapons, usually a brightly colored bazooka with flowers that pop out of it. This morning I was taking my pet (named Beezle) for a jaunt in the park and it saw a cop. I do have a permit to own a hooligan and keep it off a leash but cops usually do ask to see it, so I was showing it to him when the hooligan, without either of us noticing, took the cops gun. My neighbor was walking her fool (Chipper) around the same time. Chipper and Beezle have had play dates before so we thought it was fine for them to go up and meet each other, but Beezle pulled out the stolen gun and shot Chipper. Had it been a true hooligan bazooka, only flowers would’ve come out, maybe some confetti, but unfortunately Chipper was badly injured. Chipper went to the urgent care vet but had suffered injuries to the schnoz and honker and unfortunately died of its injuries. My neighbor thinks I need to pay the vet bills but personally I think a cop should’ve been more attentive to his surroundings. AITA for leaving Beezle unattended while talking to the cop and thinking I shouldn’t pay?
as a title wasn't designated, the initial AITA question will be considered the title.

have you ever wanted to use AITA as a writing medium? okay, okay, everyone's at least thought about making up a scenario, but what about actually telling a story?
this blog is for writing original stories in the AITA format. don't send in scenarios from published fiction or real life or you will be bitten. we won't be actively monitoring for that but come on. @aita-blorbos exists. so does @am-i-the-asshole-official.
when submitting a story, include a unique title and whether it's open or closed to additions from other people at the top, along with any notes or warnings you want to give. if you want to make the story closed, your ask must be sent off anon so we can make sure no one hijacks it (but we recommend sending your writing off anon anyway).
when continuing a story, include the original story's title and make sure to respect the established canon. refrain from sending continuations from the perspective of the original post's pov character unless you're op or the story's op specifically said that's allowed.
all entries in a story will be tagged with that story's title and any appropriate warnings.
rules:
this is for original writing. fanfic is allowed for now, but must be disclosed and may be banned if it starts overwhelming the blog.
a maximum of two characters per story may be given single letters as pseudonyms. ideally, use actual names or descriptors for all characters in your story.
you aren't limited to realistic scenarios. putting fantastical elements into your story is welcome.
the op of a story may lay down rules for it or change the story's status between closed and open at any time.
no porn, please. if there's enough demand for it, though, we or someone else can open a second blog.
there are common sense and basic decency rules. don't make us have to actually say what they are. you're better than that.
we can change these rules whenever we want to or feel the need to.
