I believe in the restoration of the church of Jesus Christ on the earth, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The #Lord makes and keeps #covenants with us in modern times as He did in ancient days. As we keep these covenants, the Lord #blesses #us. I have felt peace rest in my heart during times that would’ve been almost entirely lonesome, because of these sacred covenants.

Shady thoughts sometimes enter one’s mind.

Through the years, I’ve found that spirituality uplifting music helps me to overcome shady and unclean thoughts.

One of my favorites is the hymn Lead Kindly Light.

Lead, kindly Light, amid th’encircling gloom;

Lead thou me on!

The night is dark, and I am far from home;

Lead thou me on!

Keep thou my feet; I do not ask to see

The distant scene—one step enough for me.

While the words are positive and uplifting, it’s not just the words that help me. The Holy Spirit enters my heart and I’m often comforted as I feel God’s presence with me.

Jesus taught the possible, not the impossible.

All He asks of us is to keep the commandments and follow Him. 🙏

The witnesses of the Lord who shared their testimonies in the Book of Mormon had their roots in many of the writings that eventually became known as the Holy Bible.

As in any dispensation of the gospel, the Lord continued to ordain prophets to preach His words and help others to come unto Him.

As we read the scriptures, we too can learn more about and become like our Savior Jesus Christ.

The love of God is the greatest thing that every relationship needs

Why was Jesus Christ baptized? The #bookofmormon has helped me to learn this sacred truth.

Know ye not that he was holy? But notwithstanding he being holy, he showeth unto the children of men that, according to the flesh he humbleth himself before the Father, and witnesseth unto the Father that he would be obedient unto him in keeping his commandments.

2 Nephi 31:7

The Book of Mormon teaches people to have faith and come unto Christ. The people in this sacred book also learned from the writings of Moses, Isaiah, and many other biblical prophets and shared their own testimonies of the Savior with others.

Jesus Christ gave His life for us—you and me.

That wasn’t the end.

With His resurrection, He had overcome death.

And with both His priceless gifts of sacrifice and resurrection He gave us life after death and the ability of forgiveness from sin.

This Easter may each one of us draw nearer to Him.
