Happy Mail headed out to my sweet customers today! Also, while I wasn’t paying attention, my lil #etsyshop exceeded 700 sales! The first several years my shop was open I’d have to step away for at least 6 months out of each year due to health issues, and then it was a real struggle to get going again each time. It’s only been the last 2-3 that I’ve been well enough to put some real time into what I do. So that may be a small milestone to some, but to me it’s a pretty big deal. Have I mentioned lately how much I like designing versatile #jewelry? I’m all about options. I love making accessories that pull double duty in one way or another. I’m currently working on one of my XXXL wraps in black and silver for a sweet client. I’m pretty sure after that I’m going to make myself one in cream/white/tan for summer, and I need another necklace like I need another hole in my head 😂 but I #WANT one! And again, they can be worn as necklaces, wrap bracelets, ankle bracelets, even belts! I have a couple already, and I honestly wear them ALOT. These 5 are the only ones currently left in stock in my #etsyshop so I’ll probably be making and adding at least a few more in the near future. They take more than a minute to design, because we’re talking about 5+ feet of #beaded goodness in each one! ☀️Good Morning ☀️ My #flower pots are starting to really thrive. I love the bright color combination of the red, orange, and yellow in this one. I used a red dahlia, orange gerbera daisy, red and yellow zinnias, yellow million bells, and orange and yellow black eyed Susan vines. One of the many things I have learned from my dear mom, who is quite the flower gardening aficionado, is to be bold when designing a flower pot. Use plants of varying heights and textures, as well as colors. ❤️🧡💛

I mentioned a few days ago I need a little non jewelry related #creative release... I’d used river rocks to keep the weeds out of the spots in my raised beds that weren’t being planted, so I decided to paint them for fun. I got the idea for the cute cat design off Pinterest. I painted about 20 or so different designs I think, then gave them a couple coats of polyurethane.
