Anybody think its HILARIOUS that Eddie (when Craig almost falls) goes to get Buck from saving Craig by putting his hands towards Buck but NOT towards C. It's very quick, but it happens for sure. I can't believe I had never seen it until now.

i just realized that chris somehow figuring out what’s going on between buck and eddie - that it’s more than friendship and that his dad is in love with his buck - and encouraging eddie or giving him some kind of sign that he approves of buck as a love interest would play such a huge role in eddie allowing himself to start thinking about it. ‘cause he always uses chris as a shield to keep repressing his sexuality and being afraid of changing their relationship with buck. so chris being the one to tell him, “it’s actually okay if you’re in love with buck, dad,” or something like that would be a cute concept, i think

i need them having the buddie conversation ABOUT being afraid to fail.

“I have a habit of running away from the most important things in my life, Maddie I’m scared that’ll happen with Buck.”

People are always saying Eddie and Maddie need to interact for buddie reasons (and I agree), but I feel like a conversation between them about their experiences with parenthood would be fascinating considering they’ve both run from it, afraid they’d fail.

it's so wild to me how Tommy genuinely would fly Eddie to fucking Vegas and probably blow off thousands of dollars just to wow him but all buck got for their six months anniversary is basketball tickets that he doesn't even like. why are you having favourites between your boyfriend and his 7 years situationship??

thinking about eddie who loves to listen to buck ramble about the zoo. because if he didn’t, he wouldn’t know that buck has the place memorized. how many evenings and mornings and weekends and firehouse downtimes has eddie spent just listening to buck’s voice and subconsciously thinking i love this guy? that’s beautiful.

Thinking about how eddie and buck were definitely bedroom kids but chris is so clearly a living room kid and that's the kind of breaking of generational trauma i love to see

buck trying to prove a point to show that he and eddie are just friends so he full on flirts with eddie. eddie who has never been the target of buck's intentional flirting is speedrunning his gay realization and getting all flustered, staring at buck with his big brown bambi eyes and flushed cheeks. cue buck getting flustered too because his plan is backfiring so hard right now

i love when eddie’s fake nonchalance turns into overwhelming sincerity. buck’s probably got whiplash at this point. the way he breezes into buck’s apartment joking about how christopher doesn’t really build anything that look like anything to staring buck straight in the eyes hand on eddieassigned shoulder to say that there’s no on in this world that he trusts more with his son more than buck. at the hospital, he’s casually like ‘you may have noticed i almost just died. again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯’ (nonchalance) you’re in my will btw. you’re legally infront of my son the one person in this world who i love the most, if ever die. (sincerity) my parents maybe probably will fight for him hehe. (nonchalance) but there’s no one who will fight harder for him than you (sincerity). these are just the two examples off the top of my head but you get me.
