You bring a suitcase with your clothes, and an empty suitcase for all the crap you're gonna buy. Officially licensed 1998 Super Mario 64 notebook. Interestingly, instead of simply using the official Metal Mario render for the game, the cover also adds a ghostly image of Bowser behind Mario that was not present in the original render and is edited from a different image.

My favorite genre of self-portrait is cartoonists being bothered by their characters while trying to draw

Bill Watterson – Calvin and Hobbes (1986)

Hergé – Tintin (1947, Tintin Magazine)

Jeff Smith – Bone (1993, Bone Holiday Special)

Walt Kelly – Pogo (1950, Maclean's Magazine)
And a bonus:

Berkeley Breathed – Bloom County
