On that note , [this could totally be imagined as maverick] imagine a male model yandere x female photographer reader?? Subby male model yandere with a female photographer reader ? HEAR ME OUT HEAR ME OUT. The pretty model is just happy doing his job and today is like any other day when he notices a new [female] photographer that is assigned to him. His usual male photographer was out for the day so reader had to come in as a substitute. Needless to say that reader is just so nice and gentle with him 🥺 occasionally asking if she has permission to touch him to move a little string of hair out of his eyes and into the perfect position for the photo. Not paying attention to how his eyes flutter close as he feels your fingertips lightly flutter across his forehead or occasionally his cheek and neck area. She’s just so kind by softly praising him when he does a perfect pose or thinks of new shot ideas.

After the first day is finished he insists on her as his new photographer. Although that isn’t possible.[cuz we’re so good that we’re always in demand ya’know ? 😌] Even getting jealous whenever he sees her around the studio getting assigned to other male models. [All the other models know about his tiny huge crush obsession with you] They always try to flirt with you by tugging a random string of loose hair around your ear or giving you a hug or simply even just complimenting you. They have great fun watching him get all red and frustrated. It’s like a game to them at this point. One he gets fed up with SO quick 😭

Don’t even get me started on the nakey / showy photo shoots they assign him to do with you for like an undergarment brand or something. He’s eyes wide , jaw slack, throat dry just so vulnerable and shy in front of reader 🥹. Reader is a bit taken aback too. By how beautiful and gorgeous he is. Just can’t help but praise him more than usual. Of course that just results in him feeling EVEN more flustered and shy until he can’t help but lean in to your touch every time you have to adjust something.

Maybe reader also has a massive crush on him. Yet she feels insecure. Because , well , he’s a fucking model!! We’re just photographers !! There’s no way that he would be interested in us , he probably has a whole line of girls waiting for him 😭 And maybe he gets really frustrated too because we’re just so oblivious to his advances. What would he do to try to prove to us that he really , genuinely , likes us ?

💌 the photographer hayes is used to working with for this fashion brand was out sick (or something, hayes wasn't really listening) so he would have a new photographer for the day. and that photographer was you.

💌 he was momentarily taken aback by how pretty you were; he was around plenty of pretty people all the time- he was a model, so he spent a lot of time around other models- but there was some quality to you that caught him off guard. he couldn't explain it, but it made it a little hard to focus.

💌 but maybe, if he did a really good job, he could impress you!

💌 he pulls out all the stops, listening intently to you instructions and suggestions and nailing them every time. when you bring the camera forward to show him the photos and suggest changes or move poses, he crowds in close, peering over you shoulder (and doing his best to listen and focus on his job, and not the sweet smell of your hair or the warm body heat you put off...)

💌 once or twice, you step forward and gently adjust his face or his hair, how he's standing or holding his arms. every time, you ask permission- 'is it okay if i touch you? can i move you?'

💌 god yes, he thinks, please touch him. your hands are so soft, and you maneuver him so gently. he never wants it to end, but he also starts to worry about you hearing his heartbeat when you step close. he is slowly melting under your touch, and you have no idea, do you?

💌 by the end of the day, he's made up his mind: he wants to work with you all the time. he speaks to his manager; is there anyway he can personally book you for more jobs? could he hire you as a personal photographer? anything would be good.

💌 but you're in such high demand, it's nearly impossible. of course you are, he thinks; you must be the best photographer in the world. he certainly thinks so, and he's worked with hundreds of photographers in the past!

💌 good news though- you are booked on another job of his next week. he's so excited at first, but then he remembers the job; it's slated to be an artistic, nude photoshoot.

💌 he truly doesn't know if he's more nervous or infinitely excited. he wants you to see him, to look at him, to touch him; he wants to feel your eyes on him, only on him.

💌 the week goes by in a blur; he sees you around, shooting other models and working other jobs, and it makes him feel things he's never felt before. jealous, enraged, half crazy; every time he has to see you work with someone else, looking at them and touching them and talking to them, he feels like he might explode. he's better, more famous, he's so in love with you, you should be looking at him! not them! its a miracle everyone makes it out alive, really- though, maybe one or two people are mysteriously dropped by their agencies...

💌 but the next photoshoot comes around, and all day, he's vibrating with the excitement of seeing you, having all of your attention on him. what are you doing to him? his thoughts are consumed by you. he's thinking different, he's acting different, and he can't get enough.

💌 the room lights up when you walk in and he lays eyes on you. you smile and greet him, and he thinks he could die happy if your voice was the last thing he ever heard. but then the photoshoot starts; he disrobes, and watches your face closely.

💌 you never lose your air of professionalism, which he admires deeply, but he sees the way your eyes roam over his body. the way your cheeks flush just a bit, the way you force yourself to focus on your camera before he catchs you staring. does this mean you like him too?? it shatters something in him; he is putty in your hands, and you don't even know.
