With how far the story has come, I gotta say, it's been spectacular. I never would've imagined the idea of Chara and Asriel/Flowey having full on Darkner forms. I expected even less for the reunion to go so well.

I hope you've enjoyed what you made in this story no matter what kind of bumps you made in the development process

There are definitely things happening in the story that you wouldn't have expected, figuring from how most of the early parts were exclusively centered on comedy.

Though it's a work that's based on Toby's writing so I try my hardest to match that. Both Undertale and Deltarune take a lot of cues from the writing found in the Mother series. Which balances comedy with very heavy themes.

The Mother series is also something I take inspiration from, but I equally take cues from games like FFIX and the early Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games. Those titles do follow a similar writing style in terms of balancing comedy and dark topics.

So... to say it with the words of Shigesato Itoi:

Chara has straight hair while Frisk has spiky hair(?) and then Kris has a kombination of their hair, which i find a good attention to detail and make me speculate that Kris is both of their alternate persona thingy(I forgot the word)

Hey there Akane big fan.

I'm quite nervous cause I've never done with before, so sorry if it doesn't sound right, but I had a question, but first, some context. I've been following the comic for some time, and it has made me create my own version of the red soul trio (what I call Kris Frisk and Chara). It has gotten to a point that I've made scenarios in my head involving my oc and her lore. It involves my oc traveling to the twin rune universe with one of her closest friends and meeting the trio and they end up traveling with her to other universe (by universes I mean fandoms I like).

Sorry if this is too long but before I forget here's my take on Kris and Frisk (Chara I'm starting soon hopefully)

What I wanted to ask is if it's ok to include details from twin rune into these scenarios to combine idea and make my own twist on the story your trying to tell? It's fine if not I just have to pull away from it as far as I can. Also your comic is making me inspired to make my own comic and story on my character with her adventures.

Don't worry, you're doing fine.

Tbh, this wouldn't be the first time someone made an AU based on mine. Though since you plan on using these characters directly, I either suggest you wait until Twin Runes is completely finished. OR you somehow make these characters completely your own and remove them from Twin Runes entirely. That is up to you.

Once Twin Runes is finished, you'll have all of the required context to work with. Or you are more secure with having them be your own. Because the context that's missing is pretty important.

No matter what you choose, it should be easily distinguishable as YOUR work. Because it is your vision. And people should acknowledge that.

(Basically, what I'm saying is that it's not a Twin Roomies situation where it is canon to Twin Runes, and I overlook the project but is made by another person).

Would you be okay with people making fan art that is a slight a you of the comic that puts it somewhere in the official timeline/a slight AU of the official timeline / a slight difference in placement from where the comic is?

But yeah, you're free to make fanart that is outside of Twin Runes' exact time frame.

I DID try to animate one once. But I can't show that. The audio I used were voice messages sent by a friend. So I won't be posting the animatic to any socials without their outright permission.

I was mostly wondering if you had already thought about it or not. it's just that I love making up different scenarios where Kris and Frisk meet and every time I think that, damn, the number of moment that would have been easier for Frisk if dat poor potat could run faster (mostly thinking about the Undyne chase sequence)

I honestly have not focused on it. It's not exactly something I thought to put into the comic.

If I did, I'd probably spin it in a way that Frisk simply likes to enjoy the moment instead of rushing through things. To not make it into a "they're slow because they're on the bigger side" kind of deal.

No, as I've stated many times before, once Twin Runes is done I'll be taking on the task of turning The Other Script into a comic.

I might revisit the Twin Runes cast occasionally if I have ideas or I feel like it. But I don't want them to overstay their welcome. They have earned their rest once their story is over.

It’s understandable if you don’t answer for spoiler reasons however, would them taking frisks soul even have worked for breaking the barrier considering it’s only half a soul? If that’s to spoiler territory what’s each of the characters favorite thing to play?

Kris doesn't have a favorite genre of video game. They like them all. But they play each of them for vastly different reasons. May it be for finding glitches, optimal party management, annoying people in multiplayer mode or to find the best way to terrorize pixelated people.

Frisk doesn't like video games. Or board games for that matter. They still have a hard time wrapping their head around the concept of play. But they know they don't enjoy games that involve sitting still. They like to be active and are EXTREMELY competitive.

Chara is a fan of board games as well as card games. Anything that involves reading your opponents and planning a move 5 turns ahead of time. They are definitely playing for the challenge and not necessarily for fun.

Susie likes various video games, much like Kris does. Though she engages with the story, lore and the characters a lot more, rather than with the mechanics. She doesn't play to be the best. She wants to enjoy herself and simply vibe with it. Though she does get competitive when playing against people.

Ralsei doesn't know what he really likes just yet. It's something that he still has to figure out for himself.
