I wrote a new Isekai OC Insert fic with a Biograft, except the biograft is reincarnated from a world where magic exists but is a well-kept secret ala Urban Fantasy style. Yes I am aware that he looks like Hank J. Wimbleton from Madness Combat, and that was completely unintentional.

You WILL find a lot of magical bullshit mixed in with Ultrakill-styled philosophy about robot sentience. This Biograft is a FREAK OF NATURE!

Da Fic

The summary of the fic so far is that this Biograft gained sentience from its reincarnation, steals a gear that Subspace took from a dead Lost Temple citizen, then plots its escape to use the gear and basically become his own person.

He bonds with the gear, the Crystal Spellbook (which I don't think is an existing gear), by promising its dead owner to not let it be used by Blackrock. The gear then basically gives him a little "gift", which is the lotus-shaped crystal that replaced its power source, and became somewhat overpowered (with very damning consequences).

It's comedic right now, but keep in mind that I'm addicted to angst. This fic is very self-indulgent, so you might see some high-stakes situations mixed in with fluff.

Hhh...I finally wrote a Phighting Self-Insert. Except it's less of a self-insert and more of an OC that vaguely resembles me.

Also Dream Pillow photo for reference. He's a cootie patootie. An eeper. His eyes are constantly closed because the daytime is too bright and hurts his eyes. He needs sunglasses but he's too stubborn for them.

Also everything is too blurry for him. He needs GRADED sunglasses.

I doubt anyone cares about my insane ramblings about roblox characters like Blocktales Shedletsky. But I do them anyways because i KNOW for a fact that there are literature nerds who will perhaps SEE at least even just a TINY FRACTION of my vision

The realizations I had with BT Shedletsky's self-worth is making me hyperfixate on him. I self-indulge my blorbos in a way where i put them in the fucking wringer and have them survive like a roach, irreparably changed and perhaps damaged, but still force themself to live because of their purpose.

But the funniest part about this? If you re-read the post and read between the lines, notice his actual reason, the turning point where he turned his own self-hatred into a fucking weapon.

I'll give you a hint. Hatred can't be a purpose and a weapon at the same time. Especially here. It is merely a tool for Shedletsky's actual drive, his actual purpose that was given by no one but himself.

It's something that Shedletsky himself may not even realize, but should have admitted by now.

I doubt anyone would care, but have you ever thought about Shedletsky and Telamon from Blocktales too hard?

You ever noticed that Shedletsky simply states how unfortunate things are. You ever noticed how...silent he is? About the mortality? The deaths? The fact that the son of a friend of his is in the hospital? The fact that Cruel King died?

If he truly is Telamon, it's obvious that he feels empathy. Guilt, even. Kitchen Wizard was an obvious example.

So if he's capable of feeling empathy. Of guilt. Then isn't the silence telling? Chilling even? Not because he is inhumane. But because of the sheer emotions he's hiding?

Tell me. If your negligence caused you to be unable to move, and leave you vulnerable to an attack you couldn't handle.

If your negligence caused your friends to suffer.

If your negligence forced you to bear an identity you swore to leave years ago, only to return to it because it's your only option to help, then find the pain of your memories unbearable to the point where you bury your previous identity again...

only to realize that not only is it for naught, but someone else achieved what you could've done in a way that nearly ended it all...that nearly ended them, even...

Then tell me, what is even stronger? The guilt? Or his self-hatred? Which one will reach him first?

You never know. Not if he keeps his emotions to himself. Not if he's too prideful to ever admit his flaws, despite the fact that he fooled several with his "oafish" facade that he has kept for years. A facade that he kept for far too long, and suffered the consequences for it.

I doubt anyone would ever ask, anyways. After all, you've suffered enough.

The swords should not affect the creator, right? So why? Why did he abandon them in the first place? Why spread them so far apart and leave yourself defenseless when he could handle them in the first place?

Bear that grin, Shedletsky. Oafish, mortal Shedletsky. That facade is all you've ever known.
