I finally ordered the classic edition devilman manga! My hope is to write a fanfic based in it where I stick true to the anti war themes and character dynamics, but with ryo and akira actually getting together somehow. I also want to make Miki’s character more similar to her DMCB version (without the social media stardom) because I love how headstrong and not-simping but still loving akira she is. I also want to include all of the classic battles and story beats. Posting here not because I think anyone cares, but to try and inspire myself to actually do it! Hopefully Devilman: Oasis part 1 will exist soon

The Canon Kiss that is not a joke

The manga ‘Amon : Devilman Mokushiroku’ fucked me up real hard. If you want more angsty Ryo(Satan)/Akira I recommend reading. Satan CRIED FOR AKIRA many times in this.

The graphic was quite beautiful too. I dont want to spoil much but in there’s this time Amon took over Akira then went off to kill Satan (as we see in ova). Satan just gracefully perished Amon, bring Akira back AND THIS

BEAUTIFUL

AND that’s not only it. This manga handles Satan’s love so damn well. Please just go n’ read it.
