Are you still active?

Depends on your definition of “active”. We’ll never be hosting another contest or digging through tags for Miracusonas and Akumasonas. Neither mod has the time now, unfortunately. 

HOWEVER, since I’ve seen a few new Miracusonas pop up recently, I’ve decided to open submissions to text and images! :D  You can also link us to an already created post, if you prefer!

polished sketch commission for @glazdon :D this is black lion [or leo for short], his miraculous oc =D he’s got a kind of kickass knight thing going for him, and his ability is really cool sounding, so i had to add it in XD aaah i just had a lot of fun working on him ;0; thank you so much for commissioning me!

What tips do you have for creating an akumasona (especially naming)?

The akumasonas we’ve seen one the show tend to have names that describe their power or who they are (The Bubbler, Stormy Weather, The Pharaoh, Gamer, Antibug, etc.). When naming an akumasona, I would recommend naming them after whatever their ‘core’ attribute is. 

An akuma also tends to have a personality that stems from the reason that they were transformed (for example, Dark Cupid was transformed because he was rejected, and as a result, as an akuma, he went out of his way to ruin relationships)

Here is the half of the collaboration I did with @easyminds! We each drew our Miraculousonas interacting with each other then swapped drawings to color them. This was a lot of fun to work on and Fonda did such an amazing job on her parts, please make sure to check out the one I drew and she colored right here! :)

Just a little Thank You for 500!~

Hello, all you miracusona and akumasona fans and creators! At some point over the past few weeks (months?) we hit 500 followers!!! Which is pretty darn incredible considering we haven’t posted anything new in months! :O 

I just want to let all of you know, that while we might not have been posting anything, we didn’t miss the fact that you were all out there. :D And I wanted to thank you all so much for being out there, still creating and being awesome!!!

Day 5: Alternate Universes

Since I am a terrible person and have nothing finished yet, take an old drawing that I never posted. Though, I do hope to have everything else that I owe done by the end of the weekend! Thanks for staying patient, everyone!

Yep you guessed it, Lady Fallow but Miraculous Moves!AU. It was a lazy doodle on my part that I liked enough to try some new coloring techniques. In the end, I really like it!

But jokes on all ya’ll. Fallow can’t dance! Well… break dance that is. I get the feeling she got here through a long chain of mutual misunderstandings and now the poor thing is trapped on the dance-floor. Better hope they have some swing selections!

It’s a bonus to @akumasonas Day 5 prompt. A Kwami Swap with my friend @the-queen-of-the-dragons‘s miraculous oc, Silver Vixen.

I would like to think that, under other Kwami’s influence, personalities alter ever so slightly. So the confidence that Damma influences may show itself as boldness but, under Maeve’s influence it may show itself more as smug or cocky. ‘cause really like Maeve would ever stand for her holder being treated poorly. ;)

Day 2: Transformation Sequence

@akumasonas (sketchily completing these prompts at snail pace…)

It’s Lewis’ turn this time (aka Vespe; holder of the Velvet ant miraculous)! His transformation sequence is a simple, all-at-once type transformation that’s accompanied by a whole lot of static. Efficiency is the key here (his visor forms at the same time as his costume change).

Lewis has frequently raised the question of why he has to transform in the first place when he’s never on the battlefield; always giving tactical advice offsite through the comms. Merro’s only response is telling him to hush and focus on the task at hand.

Miracusona Week, Day 4: Canon Character Interaction

Akumasona/Miracusona Week 2! August 22-26, 2016. BOTH artists and writers!

Hi, all! After the popularity of the first prompt week, we said we’d run a second one! Here’s the official announcement! We wanted to get the ball rolling before the school season starts, but we realize that a lot of Miraculers might be too busy to post right away. Even though this says it’s a “week”, just have fun with the prompts and let us know what you finish!

As with last time, please tag your posts with aksonawk2, and/or tag us directly @akumasonas. If you have any questions or comments, the ask box is open! :)

And with that, on to the prompts! Now that we all finished our designs in Week 1, Week 2 is set up to be a little more action-orientated. ;D

Day 1. Kwami/Akuma Interaction - For miracusonas: How do your character and their kwami get along? Do they argue? Would they play games together, or is one/both of them all business?  - For akumasonas: What was your character doing when they got possessed? Did they see the akuma coming? This can be a reaction to Hawk Moth in their heads, too, instead of just the butterfly.

Day 2. Transformation Sequence - Are there sparkles? Lightning? Smoke? Is it all at once or in stages?

Day 3. Special Powers - Some people described these when they created their characters. Now it’s time to expand on that a bit. Show us your miracusona’s / akumasona’s special power! Does it make their weapon glow? How does it capture/enslave civilians?

Day 4. Canon Character Interaction - Which character from Miraculous would your character talk to? What would the interaction be like? Or, maybe, just have them talking/doing something with YOUR favorite character!

Day 5.Alternate Universe - The fandom is nearly a year old now and we’ve come up with a lot of fantastic AU’s (alternate universes). Design/describe your character as part of one of them! Would they break dance or be in a band? What would they be like as a different gender? Or if they swapped kwami with their partner? What if your miracusona was akumatized? Or if your akuma-victum ended up with the hero’s miraculous? 

And those are the prompts! Do as many as you’re inspired to do and remember to tag us (# aksonawk2 and/or @akumasonas​) so that we can share it, too! :D Have fun!!!
