The game will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN Xtra on SiriusXM. **All Stats Provided by the UFL. ** Arlington’s offense posted 262 total yards and picked up sixteen first downs. They won the third down conversion battle, going 5-for-11 (46%), while San Antonio went 3-for-10 (30%). QB Luis Perez, who leads the UFL in passing yards, went 22-of-33 (67%) for 209 yards, 2 TD, and 0 INT. He finished with a passer rating of 139.9, in addition to picking up two yards on one carry. RB De’Veon Smith finished with ten carries for a game-high 38 yards, both of which led the team. He added two receptions for 9 yards. TE Sal Cannella finished with a game-high nine receptions for 87 yards (both led the team) and a TD. He has now scored in three straight weeks and has five touchdowns on the season. WR JaVonta Payton caught two passes for 12 yards and a TD. He has now scored in four straight weeks and has six total touchdowns on the season (5 receiving, 1 rushing). Arlington’s defense posted three total sacks on the day: LBs Vic Beasley and Anree Saint-Amour both picked up one sack; DT LaRon Stokes and LB Willie Taylor III both notched a half sack. The team’s eight tackles for loss were a season-high. FS Jamal Carter and LB Storey Jackson paced the defense, each finishing with 9 total tackles (led team; tied for game-high). PK Jonathan Garibay went 1-for-1 (100%) on the day, converting from 33 yards out. FOX | FOX Sports on SiriusXM **All Stats below provided by the UFL** RENEGADES ROCK SHOWBOATS, 47-23 The 47-point output by the Renegades marks the most points scored in franchise history, dating back to the 2020 XFL season. The Renegades scored 25 first-half points, their most in a half this season. Arlington out-rushed an opponent for the first time this season, 106-96. The two interceptions gives Arlington seven on the season, putting them in first place in the league. Four takeaways in the game set a season-high for the Renegades defense. QB Luis Perez threw for 296 yards and three TDs (season-high) on 27-of-32 passing for a passer rating of 193. Perez now has a league-leading 1,626 pass yards on the season. RB De’Veon Smith had a two-touchdown day, giving him three on the season. He finished with 14 carries for 101 yards, his first 100-yard game of the season, in addition to five receptions for 35 yards. QB Luis Perez, who leads the UFL in passing yards, went 24-for-37 (65%) for 180 yards, 1 TD, and 0 INT, with a passer rating of 114.6.1. I tremendously appreciate you all! ***All Stats and Data is provided by the UFL*** ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The Arlington Renegades (0-5) remain winless in the UFL as they fell to the San Antonio Brahmas (4-1) on Saturday night, 25-15. The total attendance for the game at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington was 10,283. The Brahmas struck first in the Texas Showdown matchup with Arlington, as PK Ryan Santoso hit a 43-yard field goal on the game’s opening drive. Following a punt on the Renegades’ first drive, San Antonio TE Alize Mack extended the Brahmas’ lead with a 24-yard touchdown thrown by QB Quinten Dormady with 5:34 remaining in the first. An unsuccessful one-point conversion kept the Brahmas’ lead at 9-0 after one quarter of play. On their second possession of the game, Arlington’s offense went 33 yards on nine plays to get their first points thanks to a 29-yard field goal by PK Jonathan Garibay, cutting the deficit to 9-3. San Antonio marched right back with a 10 play, 68-yard drive capped off by a one-yard touchdown rush by RB John Lovett. Lovett would cash in on the following one-point conversion to make it 15-3 in favor of the visitors. Later in the quarter, Arlington QB Luis Perez connected with WR JaVonta Payton for a 52-yard touchdown. An unsuccessful two-point conversion made it 15-9 going into halftime. Arlington started the third quarter with an eight play, 39-yard drive that resulted in a 46-yard field goal from Jonathan Garibay, cutting the deficit to 15-12. After an interception by Renegades CB Ajene Harris on the first Brahmas possession of the second half, Garibay would hit another field goal for Arlington, this time from 33 yards out, making it tied at 15 going into the fourth. San Antonio would re-take the lead early in the 4th quarter with a two-yard touchdown rush by RB John Lovett, his second of the game. A successful one-point conversion catch by WR Justin Smith put the Brahmas back in front, 22-15. After a turnover of downs by the Renegades offense, San Antonio padded their lead with a 32-yard field goal by Santoso to make it a two-possession game at 25-15. The Renegades would come up short for the fifth time this season, losing 25-15 to the Brahmas. POSTGAME NOTES Renegades QB Luis Perez went 26-of-36 (72%) for 270 yards and 1 TD for a passer rating of 144.4. Renegades WR JaVonta Payton led all receivers with 119 yards and 1 TD. Arlington had more passing yards, 252 to 160, but San Antonio had more rushing yards, 190 to 59. Arlington had rusher by committee, listing six different players with rushing attempts. Arlington PK Jonathan Garibay went 3-for-4 on field goal attempts, finishing with 9 points. The Renegades won the turnover battle, 3-1, but were 0-for-4 in the red zone.
