Question for Sims 2 players/posters:

How do you get pictures of your game that don't look like actual garbage?

I've tried Fraps a few times but I was wondering what other options are available?

I've been playing Sims 2 in my down time for nostalgic comfort, and I'd love to share some of the shenanigans that's going on 😊

Also started playing the poison garden challenge/legacy in Sims 3. I've got a lot of pictures to edit/upload (I'm on Gen two already lol) but finding the oompth to edit/post is hard.

Hopefully be posting some stuff soon though when the depression pit isn't too deep 😅

Hello lovelys!

It's your local AuDHD goblin here, crawling out of my cave for an annual "I'm not dead" post.

I remade my Simself to be more up to date as it's been three years since I updated them?!

As it's been forever, I thought I should give y'all a little re-introduction;

I'm Rose, a neurospicey, gender queer, they/them causing mayhem in the South of England. I'm turning thirty this year, am looking forward to putting my turbulent twenties behind me and having the most badass thirties I can.

I live with Emelius, my familiar and menace of a cat-son, in currently temporary housing until my forever home is found. Doing the best with what I got at the mo, but very thankful to have a roof over my head and a pillow under it.

I've been playing Sims for pretty much my whole life, have been on Simblr for ten plus years now and was previously known as sim-a-ling-tings (shout out to any OGs who remember that cringe name) and Simblroonies.

Going by alas I cannot sim now as these days, as my siming is infrequent at best, BUT I'm hoping that will change in 2025 and I'll be back to posting odds and sods.

I'm still figuring out what I want to post here as I've had to reinstall my game and I'm starting from scratch, and ngl I've gone off the idea of being a parent to anything other than animals in my real life so that makes the thought of doing legacies a bit unappealing, but I'm sure I'll have some good o' shenanigans coming up for ya soon.

Anyway, I hope 2025 brings you all everything you deserve, some amazing memories and I'll see you soon!

Weeelp this post aged like milk 😅

TL;DR my now ex-best friend stabbed me in the back, moved out to her own place, left me with no option but to move out of the bungalow I couldn't afford on my own, had a real fun few months of homelessness and have been in a temporary council flat with questionable neighbours for the last five months whilst I wait for something permanent..

But hey, I've got a roof over my head, a pillow under it, my fur child and I'm working on putting my life back together.. Again.. It's laugh or cry folks.

On a slightly less depressing note, my og simblr friend @dustofsims made a lil re-introduction post with a life update and has inspired me to do the same! I'm hoping in game (at 4am because a sleep schedule? Whose she?) to remake my sim self as she is now a they and has a badass mullet. I desperately need to make a skin with my tattoos, but that sounds like a future Rose problem 😅

I know I'm not as frequent of a poster as I'd like to be, but I think Imma just put it out there that I'm probably going to be on hiatus for the rest of the year.

My best friend in the whole world is emigrating back to England from New Zealand after she moved when we were kids, we just signed a contract with a family friend to rent their b-e-a-uuuuu-ti-ful bungalow and I'll be spending the rest of the year catching up with her, moving and trying not to die from this cold 😂

I hope you all have the best time as the year comes to a close and I'll (hopefully) see y'all in 2024 ✌️

Update;

Finally got my ass in gear and sorted out my internet on my PC, attempted to do a clean of my game and it now crashes after five second of loading screen

So I've uninstalled and am looking at an hour or so of reinstall, but at least a get a fresh game to corrupt with CC!

Going to try and install new CC in an organized manner to give my game the longest chance of survival I can.
