So I asked my fellow student to make a confession~

Art has always been a part of my life. I couldn’t live without it. It’s not a hobby, not a job, but a big part of my being. Now why am I saying this? It’s because I want to confess that I feel empty everytime I draw, sketch, color, paint... everything.

I’m the worst type of person, the one who is indifferent to everything, as if I’m numb. I draw when I want to. I try oil pastels when I feel like it. I copy someone’s art style because it seemed nice.

Don’t get me wrong, I have an original style of my own, but something, something tells me that it’s never enough. Never enough for people, for money, for family.

Undertale gave me a purpose on Tumblr. I don’t want to spoil it, but it really affected the way I think of life. Nobody needs to get hurt. These small things that we do can do great changes! When I post, draw, reblog, and all that; I swear, this PC game found it’s way to my core. (UT fans, I just did a pun!)

It didn’t make me feel unfulfilled anymore when I create sort of stuff, even if that hint of angst gets to me when I think that my art supplies are so limited.

I want to give a shout out to my crush, for supporting me in this seemingly underrated fandom! Believe me, he may not be the best, at least he understands. (Although he doesn’t approach me that much....)

But still! I therefore confess to you guys that I am an Undertale fan and it is a very, very, very interesting game.

How to Improve Your Skills in Mathematics

For most of us, math is not our strongest point. I am that kid in class that for some reason is good at math and that person everybody runs to help when there is a math homework. So today, I will share with you some tips that helped me improve you math and be glad because I am not sharing this information with my classmates that easily.

1. Don’t Memorize, Understand

We all have been in the situation at least once in our school life when the teacher asks a simple question to you, and you answered correctly but you froze when the teacher asks how you got the answer. Then you just stutter the whole time you explain it. The reason for this is that you memorized it. That is also the reason why most of us struggle with problem solving. Even if you are studying formulas you need to understand how it works and not just memorize it because you can easily forget what you memorized. And if you really understood it, then you can easily memorize it if you are required to. except if it’s the multiplication table then you might need to memorize it

2. Practice The Basics

If you are having a hard time with the basics aka addition, multiplication, subtraction, and division, then you will in no doubt have a hard time in studying geometry and algebra.

3. Ask If You Don’t Understand

If you don’t understand the topic, then ask a teacher or a friend to help you. Do not be afraid to ask questions to a teacher. They will not make fun of you if you do not understand because that is the reason they are there. And if you cannot ask it during class, ask it after class. 

4. Join Kumon

If you haven’t heard of Kumon before, it is a tutoring program that improves the skills of children in math and in reading using worksheets . I joined Kumon (math) in 2nd Grade and it really helped me improve my grades since as it helped me in the basics and in fractions, algebra, and now, functions and graphs. And just last year, I joined Kumon’s reading program which helped me in understanding what I read and my handwriting. So I really recommend this.

5. Proper Practice Makes Perfect

I know, this is soooo basic. But it is true. You will get more used to doing math problems by actually answering them. WOW SURPRISING RIGHT?? get the sarcasm please

Recently, I just read a story from Wattpad (Yes, I read there too) and guess what? It’s a mystery/thrilleeer genre inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes & Detective Conan (I’ve been planning to read Sherlock Holmes and watch DC but I ain’t got enough timeeee~~ school ugh)
