Merthur 1940's WW2 AU for babyintrenchcoat

Merlin Emrys is an army medic. Arthur Pendragon is the son of a wealthy aristocrat. And they are both going to war. When the two are posted at the same army camp, they form a strong bond that will last them through the trials of battle. But with the enemy creeping closer by the hour and the camp hopelessly outnumbered with little chance of survival, the two spend one last night in the trenches, huddling close and waiting for the light of dawn that could mean their deaths.

Angsty magic reveals with happy endings?

Some are more angsty than others;

Though not officially banished, it’s clear that Arthur doesn’t want Merlin anymore, and if Merlin can’t be with Arthur, what’s he really for?

But Merlin will do anything to make Arthur listen to him. Even if that means his own life is forfeit in doing so.

Diamond of the Day Pt. 2: Merthur Quotes

arthur & merlin; BBC Merlin DOOOONEEEEEE. Bigger version with the two pics combined are over at my deviantart.  One of the wip stuff from last time. I finally finally decided to just get it over with. Everything started to look really wonky after working on this for so long (like, their faces. Oh man, how I angsted over their faces). And I missed the anniversary of the finale.

Wanted Merlin looking unabashedly magic and Arthur being utterly captivated in return. Pfffhhh. /flings self off the battlements  Bit of a fantasy-AU, I guess. Originally intended this to be accompanied by some (possibly very corny) epic-fantasy type of lines but that’s probably a terrible idea, idk. Feel free to imagine the exchange. Maybe Arthur thinks he’s really suave at this flirting thing but he really isn’t, lol. Done with markers, touch-ups and textures in SAI + Photoshop.

Request - Modern Prince AU

As The Prince of Wales, Prince Arthur has always lived within the confines of his royal upbringing. When his father begins to vigorously throw prospective brides at him, however, Arthur decides he’s had enough and runs away. Unfortunately, he immediately gets himself into trouble when he tries to steal a bike. Luckily, he gets help from a boy called Merlin, who has something about him that none of his father’s choices ever did.
