Overflowing of the Green River at Pailon del Diablo
This natural disaster happened on July 4, 2022 in Baños-Ecuador, which left impact to the citizens of the province of Tungurahua, this affected tourism as this place was very popular for its beautiful and magnificent waterfalls, this disaster happened because of heavy rains which caused the green river overflows and flooded for a few days the pailon del diablo, rescuers arrived to this place because of the death of two people, it was a child with his mother what happens that the child falls down the waterfalls of the pailon del dobló, then the very desperate mother falls to try to save her son in which both died. Today the pailon del diablo has become a tourist attraction and you can visit these beautiful waterfalls.
