I will die before I shut up about religion in Sebaciel.
Ciel who lost favor of the divine because damage done onto him had heavenly angels close their eyes and turn their heads away. Sebastian who picked up the pieces and drenched the cold-eyed statues in blood. Ciel who is too impure to belong among high heavens and who violently rejects God. Sebastian whose very existence is a disgrace to God; and who disregards the divine. Ciel who knows too little of the devil to worship him but who gets entangled into a web of demonic vices. Sebastian who falls on his knees before this sweet, wicked boy.
Ciel who has a demon worship the ground he walks on. Sebastian who will remain his domini canis as long as Ciel plays his part. Ciel who becomes Sebastian's altar, lamb, and the knife he guts the boy with. Sebastian who feasts on Ciel's essence as a holy eucharist. Ciel who will live a prey or die a martyr. Sebastian who will murder him in a church. Ciel whose name is a litany. Sebastian who is the priest. Ciel who is the corrupted skies overtaken by pitch-black clouds.

Things that work in fiction but not real life
torture getting reliable information out of people
knocking someone out to harmlessly incapacitate them for like an hour
jumping into water from staggering heights and surviving the fall completely intact
calling the police to deescalate a situation
rafting your way off a desert island
correctly profiling total strangers based on vibes
effectively operating every computer by typing and nothing else
ripping an IV out of your arm without consequences

Do I feel bad about how mean some of the Watcher comments are? Ah, sort of.
But mainly when I see people posting things like 'I no longer have to pretend that anything they did on Watcher was as good as Unsolved' I'm struck by how it just shows that people followed them, and stuck with them, out of love, loyalty and respect. So when the illusion of those feelings being mutual was shattered well, this is basically post-divorce honesty hour. It's the paraosocial relationship break up equivalent of 'I never really liked your apple pie.'
