Vandal Aria - How well can your character bounce back from personal tragedies?

Rook has seen much in her years. Slavery in Tevinter from infancy and her mother smuggling her out to the first Dalish clan she could find, all the way to her rise as the Inquisitor has reinforced Rook's adaptability time and again. That doesn't stop tragedy from sinking in along the gaps of her survival methods. Rook is very contemplative on any given day, but loss sees her cloister deep into her own mind. Overthinking becomes a rut in the mental ground she may not always pull herself out from alone. She becomes reclusive, mourns silently when going about her tasks and only openly when pressed or in the rare moments prior to the "dissolution" of the Inquisition she was actually alone. Worse, the need to be the pillar of strength and resolve for her forces didn't always afford her the luxury, let alone her rearing in the Lavellan clan. Bouncing back can take time and effort, but Rook always comes back out at the other end of it.
