Excuse me how on earth is it harmful to stim?

It is a way that helps sometimes neurotypical but mostly neurodivergent people to cope or to express one’s emotions. Expressing one’s emotions is the most human thing one could ever do, so why would you try to ban it? Furthermore when you demonize and negatively affect a communities term - you erase and demonize the people part of it. Being autistic is a part of me and If our terminology is considered erasable than it’s telling me that this part of me , the part that touches every single part of my brain , is not good enough and is not lovable. Which is not true.

I know I might be overreacting and I might need to just “calm down” but it really upsets me.

As an autistic person I'm actually pissed with the IOS block.

They're literally are banning stim stuff left and right. I have this screenshot of the list of banned words, which of course just keeps growing.

I guess we get to be seen more as a bad thing yet again.

Autistic people aren't dirty and our terms aren't bad words.

The astronaut helmet is the version of him most of the time and he’s basically a broken astronaut stranded in Pluto ( I had a big hyperfixation on space) and the version of him without the helmet is him before he was left stranded.
