College // Day One
Today was the first day of college, where, as year 13s, we enrolled, had a welcome assembly and collected lanyards and timetables. We've all been moved around a bit so this year, we've got green lanyards instead of blue. 💚
My first lesson was in the afternoon, just after lunch. After having some fries for lunch, I sketched a bit and then made my way to the classroom. We talked for a bit about this year and then started looking at the assignment which we were starting the year off with: game asset design. The class was split into two teams of 7 and each person in the group made a game asset from either Super Mario or Sonic the Hedgehog. After this, in our groups, we made a big mindmap with different types of games and styles written on it.
