Adam or Hysteria, please, please for the love of Sleep, release HQ pics of the numerals' new masks/fits.. I'm begging you on my knees. I need to understand how they're made and what are the differences between them like I need hair to breath.

Also imagine you are alone at night, you turn the corner and you find these three in the dark (with vessel lurking behind like he does in the pics)... you're probably going to scream your soul out and pass away since they look like they emerged straight from hell/death itself.......(Or maybe I just still have a slightly repressed fear of skulls since I was a toddler)

Thank you! I actually haven't watched the new season yet (still waiting for ep1 apparently?) but I will eventually continue with Miraculous stuff, it's just that I have work and other projects (outside of TS4) in mind and can't fully commit to a set at the moment :(

An Offering to the End of an Era.

Guys! I finally did it! I was able to make all the base pieces and arrange them as close as possible to the original! This is the most accurate and dedicated drawing of Vessel's old mask you can find (I think?). I tried to be as accurate as possible with Hysteria Machine molds, and I know when I looked for an accurate mask of him I didn't find any that satisfied my manic lol. Feel free to use it as reference! Just tag me so I can see your work and know I've helped someone!

Now I just need to make all the 3D parts. Slowly. When I have time.

Guys, I did it! I finally figured out all of Vessel's mask red decor..According to the Hysteria Machine's site these parts are all metal (maybe a couple of them might be resin), that's why they are all "fused" on top of eachother or cut (like the light green part and the purple ones), that's why I had difficult figuring out some pieces. Also, in the end, the green/gray/yellow parts are all one item (bottom left corner). The pieces, that aren't already symmetrical, can be found in both the right and left version on their craft (blue, pink and purple on my drawing).

EDIT: Just realised that the red/orange piece is always attached with the blue/light blue one on both sides..so technically the pieces are even "less" complicated than they look, but I'm SURE some of them have been cut off/rearranged to make the design fit..so technically the whole mask is a repetition of only 3 big molds in different areas and rotations!

Now I plan to make a better 2D version of all the pieces separated, an accurate 2D version of Vessel's mask (similar to the colored one in this post) and then start with all the 3D pieces once I have the 2D map.

(I figured out now I can also easily identify the decor on his shoulder piece but that would be for another day lol)

*clears throat* Are the new Vessel's mask and shoulder piece made by Hysteria Machine? Cause I can see resemblance in some pieces even if we don't have HD pictures yet....

I might have also found one of the two pieces I was missing but I need to watch their whole work again to find them..

These are the molds I found so far...they are in a lot of their masks (even in the Espera/Minerva ones there are a lot of the same elements)..but I wasn't able to find anything that matches the purple/dark gray stuff, I guess due to the very little pictures out there and the amount of varnish on top of them.

If anyone is able to send/link me pictures of Vessel's mask from the side I would be eternally greatful.

*laughs manically* Guys, I found out other Hysteria machine's creations that use the same molds as Vessel's mask pieces..and I can see them clearly without losing my eyesight. I feel elighted and also a little scared by myself lol

I've also realized that I'm way to harsh on myself most of the times..until today I thought that every fan artist (2D/3D) already figured out his mask..but looking back at their creations it's not as accurate as I thought, and that's good! The essence is there and I didn't even noticed the differences! Their craft is amazing as it is. But for my mental well being I needed to analyze it in details, to understand the shapes and components (it happened with the Miraculous models and now it's happening with this).

Btw my psychiatrist swears I don't have autism.

*mad scientist voice* I figured out a pattern! More or less..way less than more......anyway, I finally found some mold repetitions (and some specular mold repetitions!). -The "flower" in red at the center is one piece with the orange bits, and it's repeated other two times on each cheek -The octopus blue/light blue thing is repeated even on the side (no outline) where I thought the strap of the mask was, but it's basically always hidden by the hood..is the mask attached to the head with the holy spirit then? How far back does it go? Is it even comfortable with all those thing poking?? -the two green branches are symmetrical but the one on his jaw has been cut off (sad green face if you zoom in) probably cause it was uncomfortable while singing (as far as I checked, it's like this on both sides of his face) -the pink and purple things are making me lose my fucking mind cause I KNOW they must be the same mold but symmetrical, but I can't fucking point it out -Like I can't point out the shape of the darkest gray stuff..like it's basically hidden and the pictures aren't that detailed -the gray and lighter gray are just stuff that isn't repeated anywhere except on the other side

The very good (from an artisian pov) and bad (from a 3D modeler pov) thing about this mask is that the white base has some white thick paint paired with what seems like "putty" alterations along the lines of the nose/eyes. And the molded pieces glued on have been coated with very very reflective gold paint (the same on the dots and around the sigyl), then coated with very thick red paint paired with a way more thicker gloss varnish..on top of that in some istances they seem washed with black paint to highlight the lost details due to the thickness of the varnish (or this might only be the bodypaint being an ass to remove)..The varnish basically removes most of the finer details, giving a general effect of cohesivness but making it quite difficult to understand the basic shapes..

I'll really try my best to replicate it in 3D, but in the end it would probably be way neater and less "fresh blood glistening" in the game...I also plan to 3D print it for myself since now I have a 3D printer, and maybe that would be easier to replicate the real life effect...

Anyway, two things I also noticed looking through the references, the base of the mask/shoulder pads seems made of compressed carboard/wood sheets (don't know the english term), light weight but seems heavier than the new shoulder pad which instead seems made of foam or something similar. The other thing is I think he looks through is top set of eyes..in some magazine publications you can see the (white) skin of his cheeks peeking through the four lower holes but not the top ones (I think this is common knowledge but I saw some people stating otherwise so I was a bit confused lol).

So this is what I came up with so far..it's a rough sketch but enough to make me understand the 3D structure better..I don't know what material it is but I noticed a couple of mold repetitions..this also can't be completely accurate cause it's a flat sketch of something spherical, but I'm happy so far (even if it's very very rough, I'm not practical with drawing on the tablet lol)
