Creating authentic typography through an original Wharfedale stop cylinder printing press, at the Eastern Star Press Museum in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape, South Africa, October 2013. The Wharfedale machine revolutionised the printing industry in the 19th century, used to produce the first Eastern Star newspaper in January 1871.

UBom! The Final Curtain (a soundslide) 

This was made for one of my photo story projects on the amazing Ubom! Eastern Cape Drama company, specialising in community theatre, as they saw out the last days of production before the company was forced to close due to lack of funding. 

Disclaimer: Unfortunately, the program I was using to turn this into an mp4 file seriously impacted the clarity/quality of the images. I will definitely try and redo it on a different program and upload it again soon.

The UBOM! Eastern Cape Drama Company perform STDiesel for local Grahamstown schools in their final tour before closing at the end of September.
