I recently had the opportunity to assist Denver artist, Tobias Fike, with the electronics and design of a sculpture. This piece tracks the sun and projects constellation patterns on the ground. It was commissioned by CU-Boulder for Space Month.

It's amazing that computers used to take up entire rooms, and now they fit in our pockets. Yet the way a combustion engine works is fundamentally the same as when it was invented.

It’s very easy to make a business that propagates the current system, that provides a service for it, and edges out a space for itself within it. Making a business that attempts to re-shape the system is extremely difficult, but has far greater rewards.
