This work-in-progress film explores 'Ecological Framing', a term denoting the intentional framing of a project/design through the eyes of various organisms that might inhabit/use it. In this example, the film follows the journeys of a tadpole, frog, dragonfly & human, as they navigate the Swamp Gasholder (one of several gasholders in my Mill Meads Forest Park that will act as unconventional sanctuaries for wildlife).

Neo Ecological Myths - Mill Meads Forest, Act I - Catalyst Sites
My 5th year project seeks to introduce a new park for London in Mill Meads, Bromley-by-Bow. This short film begins to tell the story of 3 sites in the area: Bromley-by-Bow Gasholders, Wembley Cottages and Channelsea Island. Each site will act as a catalyst for various proposed interventions. The intent of this film is to speculate on not just the character and atmosphere of these sites, but also touches upon the notion of human-made edge conditions that divide space, habitats and nature.
