He's working his ass off on her albums while she's getting a tan and shopping spree in// Alex and the band come from a working class background and are the some of last blue-collar musicians to make it big before recession hit and talent scouting became nepo-oriented. Alex is not working class. He grew up in a house his parents own. His parents are teachers. He might have good work ethic but he’s not working class.

Maybe Alex was in Paris and wanted to obviously surprise his manager with a grand gesture. That's why Ian was surprised maybe Alex did tell him he's in Paris.

Louise also stopped hinting him now when he's over as we've seen last time when he was there. She used to always either show off his sunglasses or shoes or arm. So we don't know. We also hear he was in LA or London that we rather believe though but why not Paris when he has a flat there he pays for too.

I think another point (next to her gaslighting him with her mum's death still) why Alex felt/feels connected to her was her act as a musician. Now after another big failure with his biggest effort there must crack something in his head maybe enough for another disconnection or finally looking past her mother's death.

Alex's friends too. Zackery Michael took his whole equipment there and took many pictures all that material he could have used for something he'd rather get some success with. Just like Loren Humphrey who gave her his studio and all the recordings being saved and on cassette's etc. His friends must say something by now about that too. All that only to hear her excuse, "cry", and made up shit that labels don't pick her up because the music industry is misogynistic? And using the material to take only pictures and brag on the internet that Alex did that for her. Working in the music industry for so long they must insult her behind her back for such vile behaviour on all their work. It's like she's laughing at them for still taking her serious when she obviously doesn't take anything of the work serious and just does it as a facade to keep Alex interested in her to not be dumped sooner and enjoy the freeloader life.
