Are you ok with shipping
{ Absolutely! I’m always down for ships. The only thing though is that I only ship based upon chemistry between muses; so we have to plot things out via IM to see how feelings and relations could develop between our muses. }
{ I feel like Theo would be pretty cold and uninterested in any flirtatious interaction though at first. The guy is stuffy, serious; a tough shell to crack. But if your muse feels up to the challenge of breaking this nerd’s walls down, then by all means, let’s plot it out for a thread! }

☤ @contrarian-marion Outpatient Treatment; ( Continuation From Here X )
With a shortage of physicians running rampant within Ergastulum, Theo took it upon himself to help out when need be. Though use to the humdrum stillness of his own private practice, a bit of intensity and speed needed in a public facility like this one was sometimes considered a good change of pace. Though, he would never aptly state such opinion in the open.
His head buried in medical files of an array of newly ushered in patients, the doctor heed no attention to his surroundings; especially to that of the doors with each passing room and entrance to new halls. It wasn’t until his careless meanderings without even a passing glance upward led to him to a painful smack in the face with a hallway door.
With a resounding loud thud apparent after impact, Theo drops all medical files in hand; his spectacles cracking and ebbed pain rushing to his face. Stunned, shocked of the initial impact, it takes a moment for Theo to gather his bearings; but when he does, thin brows constrain in an effort to subside the growing sting from the impact of the door to his face. He placed a hand to his now throbbing forehead and gruffly responded to the culprit behind the ‘attack’.
↳ ❝ Argh–whatdya doin’, huh? Y'can’t go flingin’ doors open like that; not in enclosed small places like this. Could’a knocked me out here, swinging the door open like that. ❞
Paying no mind to the crack that now encompassed the lenses of his glasses, the doctor pushes the frames upward the bridge of his nose in an agitated tic and lowers himself to the floor to retrieve the now scattered patient files.

KURO!VERSE: // Click below to read about this verse.
Born in 1858, Theo was the illegitimate son of Emperor of Russia, Alexander Nikolaevich Romanov; Holstein-Gottorp-Romanov successor of Russian Emperor, Nicholas I.
Known as Alexander the Liberator, Emperor Alexander II reigned in St. Petersburg from March 2, 1855 to March 13, 1881. He was a significant part of the liberation of Russia, with acts such as the emancipation of Russian serfs in 1861, reorganization of the judicial court, abolishment of corporal punishment, and promoting university education for all. Gradual introductions of each ideology enforced a sense of self-government, improved local welfare systems ( i.e. education, medical care, etc. ), and was the first beginning steps to the enlightenment in Russian villages at the time. However, such ideologies and liberating thoughts were not well received during this time. High officials of the Russian court did not favor change or freedom of thought, and opposition ran rampant during the time of the Tsar’s ruling.
The uprising of the Narodnaya Volya, the People’s Will, in the 19th century brought about revolution for the Russian Empire; with young socialist revolutionaries calling upon violence to change the way of the Russian Empire. Because of the failure of Alexander II’s reforms to help the lower economic class, a call upon his assassination was made by the People’s Will as a rebellion against the implemented rulings. Several assassination attempts upon the Tsar were made by socialist revolutionaries; with the attempt made on March 13, 1881 succeeding after a bomb thrown by Ignacy Hryniewiecki, a member of the People’s Will political organization, assassinated Alexander II.
Upon birth of his illegitimate child, Alexander II informed Theo’s mother in secret that his child shall not bear his name; as the Romanov family cannot be brought to shame by the sin of adultery he committed by having an affair. However, Nikol Vasiliev, Theo’s mother, vexed by the selfishness of the Tsar’s demands, only made minor alterations to her son’s surname in order to spite Alexander II; chaging it from Romanov to Romanova.
An esteemed doctor to the poor in a private practice facility run inside her own home, Nikol illegally practiced medical examinations for free to help aid to the sick who could not afford the expenses of a regular medical clinic. She would be paid only in donations if patients had the sustainability to offer. In turn, Theo learned medicinal practice through apprenticeship under his mother; and learned the importance of humility and compassion toward the ever-growing poor population in St. Petersburg.
After Nikol’s death from tuberculosis in 1875, Theo took over the clinic his mother established and continued treatment for the poor. However, because of his resembled surname to Tsar Alexander II, the clinic faced heavy opposition and accusation of being a fake business set up to watch and monitor the Russian people in the name of the Emperor. Clientele lessened, and those who did seek help from Theo’s clinic were marked as traitors by socialist revolutionary groups and killed for siding with those bearing the Tsar’s name.
With endangerment to patients, as well as himself by reformation groups, Theo would state his neutrality in political stance when threatened by revolutionists, and suggest that he has no relation to the Tsar. Unbeknownst to him, however, he indeed did share the blood of the Romanov family; and would befall greater opposition as rebellion progressed.
After the successful assassination of Alexander II in 1881 and inauguration of Alexander III, troubling times only persisted as a result. Most liberation reforms created by Alexander II were diminished and replaced with more conservative rulings; only straining the relations between the people and the monarchy. Though the People’s Will were thoroughly disbanded due to the execution of leaders within the group as called for by Tsar Alexander III, the remnants of the group plotted the assassination of the succeeding Tsar; to further rid of the Romanov monarchy entirely.
The widespread continual opposition only worsened the conditions of Theo’s practice; with patients being murdered by revolutionaries and a call upon the opposition to rid the physician of his his life as well; to bury and overthrow any person bearing the name of the Romanov family. Though having moved his practice to different cities in an effort to avoid threats made upon his patients and his own life, escaping the Narodnaya Volya proved impossible. In 1889, socialist rebels burned his clinic to the ground, where patients were still housed inside; and the rebels were on the look out for the Romanov descendant. With no option, no where to hide, and having been tired of running away from a cursed family name that he hadn’t personal social association with in the monarchy, Theo ended his own life before the socialist revolutionaries could end it for him. He had taken a lethal amount of the opium derived drug, laudanum, to succeed in suicide.
Upon death, however, Theo was thus brought on to the Russian division of the Grim Reaper Dispatch as a result of ending his own life. Like many reapers who first enter into the world of purgatory, loss of memory and sense of identity occurs and is only restored after the first successful reap of a human’s soul. Thus, Theo did not regain his memory until doing just this within the dispatch. He was assigned a string trimmer as a death scythe upon completion of the Grim Reaper Dispatch Academy, and would later reap the souls of the family that he bore the same last name with as the fall of the Romanov family became of the Russian Empire.
