Makeup, why do we use it? Makeup can define us as a person, it can show how we want to express ourselves and enhance our natural beauty by using light coverage makeup and cream products. There can be suck thing as too much, like heavy and caked on makeup. Makeup is an art because you get to plan and create art on your face. Makeup can be done by anyone it just takes time and practice.

Fashion, it can enhance our beauty by having a nice put together outfit, hair, and accessories. Fashion is big in our world, we wear outfits that are in style and so it makes us fit in, which I don’t believe because we all ha s our own styles and we’re all beautiful. Style and fashion can influence people to try and get into what is trending and what’s in, but it can also bring people down because we compare ourselves to those people. All fashion and styles are beautiful.

Media, and how it impacts us. The media is a big place, a world of its own. It’s a place that can show talent, love, acceptance, etc. but there is a bad side to the media that is bigger then the good. The media can bring you down with all these people and models using photoshop to “perfect” their faces and body’s, other people can cyber bully and it’s just in my opinion not a safe place for kids.

These are some inspiration of high fashion makeup and the last picture is my attempt at a high fashion makeup look. I used water activated coloured liner and a base for my colours to make them more pigmented .

This is my flash from the past makeup look, It’s inspired by the 90’s. The first 5 photos are my inspiration for this look, and the last photo is my outcome for the look. The look includes a mat foundation with powdered contour, blush, and highlight. The eyes are a dark brown blended into the crease with a lighter brown, small winged eyeliner, and false lashes.

My style is influenced by the 90’s, 2000’s and the 2010’s. My style is more dark , but it just depends on how I’m feeling that day, some days I can wear dark and baggy grunge aesthetic and other days I wear bright y2k aesthetic outfits. My everyday makeup is just eyeliner, mascara, and cream blush. My hair I usually leave natural, curl it, or put in a messy bun, but some days I’ll take the time to actually style it nice.

Here is my ancient civilizations makeup look. I used blue and gold eyeshadow and black graphic eyeliner, as well as a dark plum coloured cheek and lip balm. I also added false lashes.

These are some of my inspiration for my ancient civilization look.

Ancient Egyptians fashion and makeup trends are different from now says. In ancient Egypt they wore blue/green, gold and black graphic eyeliner on their eyes. Those pigments where made out of malachite crushed into a powder. For lips and cheek they used a dark red/pink colour, the pigments where made from flowers. For fashion trends they wore fine dresses with shawls and gold jewelry/accessories.

These are some of my outfits that I have put together. The first one is just a simple tennis skirt with a crew neck, chunky boots, and my hair up in a claw clip pony. The second one is a floral dress with a brown cardigan, chunky boots, and my hair in a held up half down claw clip. The third one is more street wear, just a crew neck, green cargo pants, platform converse, and my hair on a low messy bun. The fourth one is just a plane white tee with a leather jacket and cargo pants, a toque, platformed converse and hair in two low pigtails. The fifth one is a blazer jacket with a corset and a black tennis skirt, chunky boots, fish nets, and my hair twisted with a claw clip. The last picture is my makeup that I had done for all of those looks. A natural cream base and a simple fox eye.

The first dress is really pretty, I love the corset and details. The second dress has a beautiful design and train. I love the combination of the colours in the third dress and the neckline. I love the way that the fourth dress has layered sheer fabric and beautiful designs at the bottom. And the I love how the fifth dress is a dark navy blue blazer with darker sequence.

I loved the overall collection because all of the pieces have their own uniqueness to it, beautiful designs and details, and beautiful colour combinations. The collection is generally dark with a pop of colour here and there. The hair in all of these looks are slicked back either in a low ponytail, bun, or just back. And the makeup is very natural, it’s like a your skin but better look.
