I meant to post this way sooner, like back when I got 69 followers. Better late than never!
Thanks to all the cool people who decided my blog was worth following. It means a ton!

The sorta maybe possibly sequel to this post, which got more notes than I expected. Thank you for that!
Varric and Isabela could be writing anything. Or Isabela could be drawing anything. Use your imagination.

Justice is about cold, objective balance through reason or natural force.
Upright: Justice, fairness, truth, cause and effect, law.
Reversed: Unfairness, lack of accountability, dishonesty.
I really loved the styles of the character tarot cards used in Dragon Age: Inquisition, and I was inspired to make tarot cards for some of my characters.

I got bored recently and wanted to try drawing in a new style, and, since Homestuck has started up again, I figured I would try drawing Homestuck style.
Inspiration is from Homestuck by Andrew Hussie. If you haven't read it, I would highly recommend it. Art and characters are mine.

Hey everyone! I’m one of the lead illustrators for a company called Global Sleepover, a company focused on writing digital books for the iPad, Kindle, or Nook for kids ages 4-8. The premise is four kids of different ethnicities, styles, and personalities who travel around the world learning about various cultures and peoples, making new friends, and learning how to be global citizens.
We are also pleased to announce our partnership with the Street Child World Cup, an organization challenging the perception and treatment of street children through football, art & campaigning.
In today’s world, we need more books with diverse characters, and Global Sleepover is hoping to provide young kids with an enjoyable reading experience that does just that! So, pack your sleeping bags, grab your passports, and get ready for adventure, because who really sleeps at a sleepover?
With the World Cup in Brazil happening as we speak, our latest story, "A Soccer (Football) Sleepover in Brazil", which I did all of the illustrations for, is now available on the iPad, Kindle, or Nook.
The book not only provides narration for kids who might be too young to read (you can turn the narration off too if you would prefer to read by yourself), but it also provides a variety of definitions and facts about soccer and Brazil (for those who want to learn more than what the story gives). There are also cool interacting opportunities within the story, such as a soccer game, helping the main characters repack their backpacks, and helping the airplane find Brazil!
If you have kids (and need a new, fun series to give them), if you love learning about the world and its many peoples and cultures (I know I do!), or if you want to just support me and the illustrating that I do, please consider checking the series out! Or, if you know someone who would be interested, please share and help get the word out! Seriously, you would be doing me, my awesome boss, and everyone on the team a favor!
We’ve poured months into character development - doing the research, naming them, giving them personalities, showing their home, their country, their friends. When possible, we base our character off real kids from the countries. We define diversity as global awareness, of having friends from different cultures and traditions, of experiencing the world in all it has to offer. Each storybook comes with a Guide for Parents or Teachers, vocabulary words, fun facts about the country, comprehension questions and fun activities!

More illustrations for the incoming book The Global Sleepover: A Soccer Sleepover in Brazil. Here are two of the three stars: Fernão and Noah! I got to design Fernão and name him, so he has a special place in my heart.
The story will be out soon, just in time for the World Cup! Pick up a copy! The series is intended for kids ages 4-8, but can be read by anyone who enjoys adventure, travel, and learning about new and exciting places.

*runs up and down steps pumping fists victoriously*
Holy moly! This was probably one of the most challenging but incredibly fun projects I have had to do. An illustration for The Global Sleepover: A Soccer (Football) Sleepover in Brazil coming out next month. I had to draw a rainforest, a beach, and Rio de Janeiro. Took me 8 hours to do this (and that's breaking it up over 3 days while fixing up other illustrations). I decided to do 2 1/2 hour speedpaintings for each to work on my ability to speedpaint and give detail. Still getting the hang of speedpaintings and this was great practice to improve my skill.
Might come back to tweak this up, but for now, it's good. Plus, I have other illustrations to tweak up before midnight tomorrow night.

Lineart of current WIP. I’m doing my own side projects to improve my skills during downtime from my digital drawings for work (will post those once the story is published).

Finished all the requests sent in for the OC ART MEME. Thank you to everyone who sent me a number request!
Time for explanations:
1. #8: In Fancy Clothes - You would not believe how little info there is on Scottish Highland dress of the 14th century, so I took some liberties.
2. #9: Making 3 different expressions
3. #14: Doing something they don’t normally do - (I wanted to draw a goofy picture).
4. #19: Wearing a funny hat - Couldn't think of one hat, so I made a gif with a few.
