--------
It was difficult for you, the next afternoon. The freezing air in the bedroom made it more uncomfortable, the thought of having to go back once again caused bile to rise in your throat. At this point the sensation was becoming less uncomfortable. You were sick of feeling anxious, whether it be because of that.... Thing or the weird happenings of this town.
The air felt like it was slowly freezing every cell in your body. It was difficult attempting to gain the motivation to get out of bed. But you knew you had to look after the wounds, otherwise they'd get infected.
You forced yourself out of bed, knowing you had to get money somehow. You got into the shower, cleaned the wounds on your body, the burning forced out a hiss. You didn't bother to cover it, to you it was good enough. None of them were deep enough for stitches, so they should be fine. You grabbed a switchblade from on top of your drawers, so you could prepare for tonight. Although you hoped you wouldn't need to use it.
You pulled the chairs away from the door, then went outside. You had to take public transport to get to your work. You didn't look forward to it, not at all, you felt nauseous, but knew you had to push it aside. You started walking to the bus stop, then pulled out your phone and decided to first dial the car dealer, and how to get new keys for your car. They'd need to get some paperwork from you and then it should be done in a few days. Then, after a few minutes, you called a locksmith to change the locks. The soonest they could do was tomorrow.
Once the bus arrived, you hopped on. You smiled at the bus driver, then used your card to pay for the ride. You sat down, there were only a few people on the bus. You put some music on, watching as the bus started to move. You continued looking out, thoughts raging through your mind. If something happened tonight, you’d leave. You knew you couldn't risk your life over money. You knew you had to change your outlook on things. Was it all worth it when there were other ways to deal with the situation?
After 10 minutes, the bus slowly stopped near the theatre. You stood up then hopping out, thanking the driver. You walked over to the front of the building, staring at the handle. Your hand shook slightly as you rested your hand on the handle, then slowly twisted it. The smell of popcorn immediately made you hungry.
Your co-worker greeted you, "You look like a train wreck, you good?"
You rolled your eyes, "Aren't you lovely?"
"I know," They chuckled, however genuine concern quickly replaced their previous demeanour. "Seriously though, you okay?"
You shrugged, "I think the night shifts are really fucking with me, I need to switch hours."
"Yeah, well long shifts that last late at night aren't exactly great. It makes sense that it's taking a toll on you. Maybe talk to our boss?"
"Maybe, I'll see how I feel after this shift."
---
You stood there for hours, giving people their snacks, drinks and tickets. It wasn’t too awful, your legs got sore, and the wounds burned, but thankfully none reopened. You were wearing a black top, so even if they did at least no one would notice
Once the place closed, and everyone left you emailed your bus, then did your work again. You went to the closet and picked out the mop bucket, then filled it with hot water. You remembered you had to vacuum too, so you pulled that out in plugged it into the wall. As you stepped into the movie room, you groaned. Unfortunately, people weren’t as respectful today, leaving popcorn on the floor and occasional spilt drinks. You shook your head, agitated. With all the disappearances, surely people would think that maybe the cleaner wouldn’t want to stay overtime? Actually, they probably just didn’t care. That seems more likely. Or their stupid brains didn’t make the connection. Whatever, if  you didn’t die tonight at least you’d get decent pay.
This place was so eerie, the stereotypical creaking of the wood panels, the trees creating monstrous shadows. You chuckled, thinking of the multiple horror movies and stories that this reminded you of. A grim smile formed on your face, ‘maybe I could watch some of those cheesy movies when I have time.’ Although finding it amusing, you didn’t want to think about it too much. You placed your headphones on, then played some music. You sang some of the lyrics lowly, as not wanting any passers-by to think you were insane, although, who would be out this late anyway?
You knelt down with a cloth and scrubbed the floor since the mop wasn’t doing good enough. You had a feeling you’d have to scrub a large chunk of this big room. After 10 minutes, you took your gloves off, then leaned against one of the chairs, placing your hands on them, you wiped the sweat that built up on your forehead. You were afraid, but you had to do your job. Money was everything in society. To eat, to sleep safely, to have shelter.
You knew it was here. You tried to ignore the feeling, the knowing.
You gritted your teeth and went back down and continued scrubbing. Occasionally, you felt as though it was behind you. The cold, it felt so cold. The hair on your back and neck stuck up, but you continued. You’ve checked multiple times before, and yet nothing was there.
You weren’t overthinking, you were just being cautious. You were confident in that fact.
A stench filled the room, a sour mud-like smell. You glanced around, your eyebrows furrowing with confusion. “What the fuck...?” You muttered, trying to think of how that came through. You took your headphones off, hearing rain pounding against the roof. “Maybe I left one of the windows open?”
You stood up, and walked out of the theatre room, grabbing the switchblade from your boot. You opened it, then went into entrance, and sore the window was open, but the screen was still there. I should’ve closed that earlier, why didn’t I check the weather. You thought, irritated at yourself.
You closed the window and locked it, then checked upstairs. Gripping the blade in your hand, you opened the door. Your eyes water from the stench. You coughed, trying not to heave at the putrid smell. You walked over towards the bathroom window, noticing the screen was cut open. "What..." You stuttered out, gripping the blade harder. You shook your head, then pushed open each stall. They were all empty.
You stood there, thinking for a moment on what to do. It's in here with me. You shuddered, goosebumps forming. You thought over everything you've done here, vacuumed, mopped most of the theatre, scrubbed most of the stains.... What else do I need to do? I need to mop in here, but surely it can wait till tomorrow, right?
A loud thud came from downstairs, causing you to jump, hitting the stall behind you. Your stomach lurched, that sick feeling pulling at your throat. Shit
You knew it heard you, you didn't know how well it can hear, but you knew it did, as you heard scuttering from bellow. Pat pat pat pat pat.
Your hands were sweaty, making it difficult to open the blade. Once you did, you sprinted out of the room, into the office. You knew your boss would be mad if he knew, but you didn't care. You attempted to open the door, of which would lead to stairs outside. But the door wouldn't budge. You attempted to be quiet while pulling at the door. Your heart thudded in your chest, pools of sweat forming on your face. "please please please please..." You whispered, becoming more antsy.
Pit pat pit pat pit pat
You heard its footsteps coming up the stairs, you ran behind the desk, ducking underneath. You curled up, hugging your knees. You wish you could've stopped your heart from beating so heavily, it felt so loud in the silent office. The only other thing which was heard were the droplets of rain hitting the window and roof. You could hear the blood pumping throughout your body. You covered your mouth, trying to breath quietly.
Pit pat pit pat
It's body crackled as it came closer, "You don't need to hide from me."
It sounded the same as the night before, the two voices combining as one. It was so distorted and.... just wrong.
I don't trust you, I don't even know what the fuck you are!
You gritted your teeth, the handle from the blade dug into your hand as you held it too tight, preparing for it to come closer.
The silence lasted a few moments, till you heard the pit pat once more
Once its step became quieter, you slowly crawled out from under the desk. You took a few steps out of the room, planning to bolt out.
You, however, noticed a purple gas forming in the building. The stench became so prominent, so invasive, you covered your mouth, attempting to stop yourself from vomiting. One, because you couldn't risk your boss thinking you didn't clean, the other, you didn't want to alert that thing. Although you covered your nose and mouth with the sleeve of your jacket, you still smelt the purple gas. You went to step down the stairs, but weakness overcame you. Oh shit, oh shit!
You needed to cough so bad, but you knew you couldn't. Your throat was so itchy, your eyes watered as the gas burned them. The air was thickening as the gas made things blurry. You forced yourself to stand up, then slowly made your way down. You held onto the wooden railing, making sure not to give in, although your legs felt as though it was becoming jelly once again.
You took a deep breathe then headed down, paying attention to that awful, bone crackling sound a few rooms away. You finally gave into the urge to sprint. You burst the front door open, running to your car. However, just as you were about to reach it, you felt something gripping your legs, pulling you down onto the ground. Your body making a loud thud, forcing all the air out of your lungs. You yelped, trying to yank your leg out of its grip. You looked over your shoulder, looking into it's monstrous face.
As it spoke, it almost sounded human. It's voice was masculine, but almost like it had a second, feminine one flowing with it. "Tsk tsk." It said, as its neck snapped back in an inhuman manner, "Attempting so hard to avoid me... For such a supposedly smart being, you acted quite impulsively and... recklessly."
You were too mortified to speak, your eyes frantically analysing its horrifying and monstrous figure. You could smell the fresh and dried blood off the figure.
"Amused, horrified. Your heart is beating rapidly in your chest... Your lungs are inflating and deflating at a fast rate. Frightening, aren't I?" It drawled on, it's neck crackling and twitching as it moved towards you. The two voices sounding oddly smooth compared to the night before.
Its face... You could feel it's empty eye-sockets staring through you. It could read every emotion, every feeling from you. You felt violated from it's stare, only because it knew you. It felt as though it knew more about you then... you. The feeling couldn't be truly put into words. All you knew, is that it was a being beyond your comprehension.
That it shouldn't exist.
It talked, once more, as it flipped you over, forcing you to look into it's face. It held down your arms before you could use your knife. You hissed from the pressure. It got closer to you, and then it spoke.
"No one will hurt you, no one but me." In that moment, you saw slimy, purple tentacles rising from behind it. The slime fell onto the ground next to you.
As a last resort, you threw your head back as much as you could, hitting the asphalt, then smashed your forehead against his. It stopped for a moment, hissing and it's tentacles retreated slightly for a moment. It's grip lightened slightly, just enough for you to be able to pull your arm out of his hand, then you raised the knife and stabbed it in the head.
"Don't fucking touch me again."
The creature cracked as it moved around. It didn't scream... Only groaned.
"Such an amusing thing you are..." It muttered. It then yanked out the knife. No blood came out from the wound.
Before anything else could happen, you heard a car drive slowly by. Seeing the commotion, it started to pull into the parking lot. "HELP! HELP ME PLEASE." You screamed out.
The creature looked between you and the car. "So... unfortunate."
It then stood up, taking one more glance at you, then ran into the trees. You shook rapidly, staring at it's horrifying form until it left your view. The police officer walked towards you, with their flashlight out pointing at your horrified form.
"Hey, hey, you okay?!" The woman asked, crouching towards you. "What happened? What did that man do to you!? Are you hurt?" She asked, looking over you for any visible wounds. You tried to muster something up in response, but all that came out was "That.... thing, isn't a man." You couldn't look her in the eye's while you spoke, your voice trembling. What else could you say?
The office stayed silent for a moment, trying to understand what you just said. "What do you mean by that? And you didn't answer if you were hurt."
You shook your head, hugging your knees, "It... it doesn't matter, I'm fine." You murmured, staring at the ground in front of you. You couldn't look her in the eyes. All you could think of was its soulless, empty eye sockets. The feeling of it knowing, reading you in ways that you didn't like.
"Look, I can't help you unless you talk to me. Please, what did he do to you?" She pleaded, wanting to reach out but stopping herself.
"I promise I'm okay. I mean, if you really want to help me get me a damn priest." You dryly chuckled, gaze sticking to the asphalt. Normally you wouldn't joke with an officer, but in that moment, you wanted to not break down, as a trip to the mental ward didn't sound pleasant
"Please take this seriously! What if he hurts someone else?" She begged, a look of confusion and worry written on her face.
"As if we can stop it, thank you for coming over, though. You saved me, genuinely." You said, finally looking her in the eyes, trying to give a small smile. You stood up then lent against your car from last night. "I really wanna go home, I just want to sleep."
"I think I should call an ambulance, you could be hurt. Did he hit your head at all?"
"No! No, don't worry about it. I'm fine, I think I'm just sleep deprived that's all." You shook your head, trying to politely wave her off.
The woman looked at you suspiciously, then sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Alright, fine. Look can I give you the number to the police station? In case you want to report it. Please?"
You thought for a few moments, then gave in. "Yeah.... sure."
She pulled out her notepad and pen, then wrote it down. "Here, I wrote my name down as well in case you want to talk to me there. Please, think about it."
"Okay, I will." She then passed you the piece of paper. You folded it and put it in your pocket. "I'm gonna go now, thank you."
The woman nodded, "Do you want me to follow you home? If it'd make you feel safer."
The thought didn't seem utterly awful, so you gave in. "Um, actually... I lost my keys last night. Could... you take me home?." you glanced at the floor with mild embarrassment.
She nodded, "Not a problem." She then walked towards the car, you followed behind.
She genuinely seemed to be worried, and it was... nice. The car smelt clean, no rubbish at all. There was a scented thing hanging on the mirror in the car. It reminded you of cotton candy. After a few minutes of going down some streets, you reached your house. You pulled into the driveway and hopped out. The woman rolled down her window, "Have a good night! Be careful and take care."
"Thank you so much, and you too." You said back, waving. Then unlocked your door and went inside. You put the chairs in front of the door, and made sure to lock it. You walked down the hallway and into your room, then went onto the bed.
You stared blankly in front of you, at the wall, the situation replaying over in your head. The feeling of it on top of you, being seconds away from a brutal death. You felt bile fill up in your throat, you quickly got out of bed, almost tripping from the sheets. You ran out of the room, down the hallway and pulled open the toilet door. You didn't bother closing it as you fell onto your knees and knelt over the toilet. Food from earlier tore at your throat and left your body. The acid burning, causing tears to prick at your eyes. But your body kept going, even when it was just stomach acid, then until your stomach felt almost empty. Vomit was on your chin, so you wiped it off with some toilet paper. You sat there on the cold tiles for a few minutes, trying to gain the motivation to get up and clean yourself. But you were frozen, stuck staring into the hallway, unable to move.
You knew it was nearby. You felt like it always was. You don't know what you did to deserve this. It didn't make sense.
After a few more minutes, you eventually snapped out of your thoughts. You begrudgingly stood up, using the wall to support you. You flushed the toilet, then slowly walked to the bathroom. You felt light headed and dizzy, but you didn't feel like going to bed with vomit on you. You turned the tap on, got undressed and went inside. You watched as the dirt washed off your body and down the drain. You felt calmer, enjoying the warmth. Then went to bed, savouring the few hours you have left till you have to get up.
--------
After she dropped you off, she went back to the station, something just didn't feel right. The way you talked about the man not being human, it stuck with her. She of course heard of the sightings of a 'creature', but she struggled to believe it. How could a thing like that exist? It defied all logic, to her. She wanted to recheck the footage of her dashcam. She had to know, were you simply mentally ill, telling the truth, or sleep deprived like you said? The only way she could know was to check the footage.
She downloaded the footage, then opened the file. She skipped through it, then found the incident. She zoomed in as she drove into the parking lot. She saw it. She understood now. What you meant.
What the fuck was that?!
She saw as purple things came out of the... creatures back. And when she got closer in the parking lot, she saw as it turned towards her, then stood up and run. She saw the horrified look on your face.
What was she meant to do with this footage? Would anyone believe her? She bit her nails, even though they were done only a couple days ago, she couldn't resist the urge. A coworker of hers noticed the look on her face and what she was doing. "Didn't you quit that habit a while ago? What's got you so stressed?" He asked, pulling his chair towards her, then sat down.
"Can you watch this?" She asked, not waiting for an answer. She went back on the footage, then pressed play. He scooted closer, turning the monitor slightly so he could see more. She stared at him, trying to see what he thought.
She paused and zoomed in on the footage. The man looked afraid, "What is that?!" He muttered under his breathe. She then continued the video, still zoomed in. He watched as the creature ran into the forest, leaving the woman - you, on the ground, mortified.
Although knowing the officer wasn't a prank type, he had to ask. "You're messing with me, right? Is the edited?-" She interrupted him, "No, it isn't, It's raw unedited footage. I downloaded it a few minutes ago. So you saw what I saw?"
"I did... yes." He answered, "What is it?"
"I don't know, but the woman right there said she saw a monster." She then took off the camera on her vest, then connected it to the PC. "I'm going to show you another recording, of what she said to me."
The man nodded, resting his chin on his hand, watching as it downloaded. "Are you sure it isn't a glitch or something?"
The woman shook her head, "Again, once you hear what she says, you might take it more seriously. Hold on." She then opened the file and skimmed through it. "Alright, watch." She turned the volume up.
"What the..." The woman said, driving into the parking lot.
She hurriedly got out of the car, the footage shaking as she did so.
"Hey, hey! You okay?!" She asked, running over to the woman on the ground. She crouched in front of her, then asked "What happened? What did that man do to you!? Are you hurt?"
"That.... thing, isn't a man." The woman said, staring at the ground in front of her. They stood there in silence for a few moments.
"What do you mean by that? And you didn't answer if you were hurt." The officer asked, the footage still being a bit shakey.
The woman hugged her knees, "It... it doesn't matter, I'm fine."
"Look, I can't help you unless you talk to me. Please, what did he do to you?"
The woman then responded, "I promise I'm okay. I mean, if you really want to help me get me a damn priest."
"Please take this seriously! What if he hurts someone else?" The officer begged.
The man continued to watch the footage, stopping as soon as the officer went back into her car.
"Get it now?" She asked, crossing her arms over.
The main stayed silent for a couple seconds, then spoke "I... don't know. This is some weird shit."
The officer rolled her eyes, "You're stating the obvious."
"Well aware, smartass." He sighed, combing his fingers through his hair. "Well, can you talk to the woman again? Maybe if you say you saw the same thing, she'll say more."
"I might do that tomorrow morning, she seemed extremely worn out and I don't want to bother her."
"I mean, if you're okay with waiting that long go ahead."
The officer glared, "Fine you go talk to her instead."
"Okay okay, that's not what I meant. I mean it seems serious, could this be connected to the other missing people? Like maybe she could go missing in the middle of the night!"
"I'm sure she'll be fine over night, and I'm going to have to put all the videos onto the laptop. I also need sleep, you know? And I don't want to bother her too much, I want her to hopefully have a few hours of sleep before I explain this whole thing to her."
"Okay, well can you let me know how it goes after?"
"Yeah I will, can you keep this between us for now? I don't know how the others will react if they see this. I also don't want them to probably think I'm crazy."
"Fair enough, alright I'm gonna head off." He said. standing up, "You rest up too, yeah?"
The officer nodded, "I will, probably only 6 hours but it's something."
"Isn't that what you get most days?"
"Shut up." She said jokingly hitting his arm, "Alright, catch you tomorrow." She said, also packing her stuff.

Y/n my love, you don't know what you've done (ihnmaims AM x f! reader) chapter 2
The next morning, you went into work a bit earlier. You wanted to see if you could see Mike a bit earlier. You just wanted to know if you could catch him in the act. Surely it wasn’t true. But then, why would AM lie? What would he have to gain in lying about a coworker?
You parked your car in the parking lot, then waited till you saw his car pull in. You hopped out as soon as he did, then pretended you were checking your phone, then looked up pretending you just noticed him. You saw when he looked at you he looked nervous. You saw him quickly pull something off his finger, then put his hand in his pocket.
“Oh hello Y/n! Sorry I wasn’t expecting to see you so early. How has your morning been so far?”
What a piece of shit
“It’s been good so far, just a bit cold but otherwise I’m fine. Yourself?”
Mike gave a small smile, “Yeah mine’s been fine. I’ve been going to the gym lately, been feeling a lot better.” You noticed a sly smile form on his face. You held back a grimace, keeping that same forced smile plastered on your face.
“Nice! It’s always good to look after yourself.” Oh the painful small talk.
“It is, anyway, I was wondering sometime if we could meet up?”
“Oh uh I’m not sure.” You quickly say, suprised by the sudden question.
“Not like that! Just as friends, like to go grab a coffee or you know, go for a walk.” Mike quickly spoke.
You thought for a few moments, what were you meant to say? Although he was attractive, he still could have a wife. You weren’t that type of person, you would never stoop that low. But at the same time, you could, in theory, try and see if maybe it was just a coincidence. Maybe he just likes jewelerry? Although that doeesn’t seem likely.
You decided to say a simple maybe, that you’ve been busy a lot lately. But could at some point. “I could use a break though, but it would have to be a while. I’ve been trying to work on AM, his code seems to be really messy, and that someone else might have screwed up somewhere.”
Mike nodded, “That’s fair, I hope we can do it soon. I enjoy hanging around you.”
You smiled, hopping he wasn’t going to try anything weird. You had to keep an eye on him, you were worried about his intentions. You hoped it wasn’t true, he did seem like a nice person.
Once you and him walked into the building, you both put your own stuff in lockers. You saw him pull something out of his pocket and put it in there.
Everyone met up in one of the meeting rooms to discuss what should be done for the week and who would work on what. Around 20 people sat inside. Nancy came to the room and was all smiley and happy, until she saw you. Her smile faltered slightly, barely noticeable, just as AM said. You heart cracked just a little. Althought a seat next to you was empty, she chose the other one. Is there a point in me even trying to be friends with people anymore?
You mentally shrugged your shoulders, it’s fine, it doesn’t matter. You can’t believe he was right. Of course he was, he’s fucking AI. He has all the knowledge, access to all the cameras…
Your smile faltered slightly. Mike noticed, and gently patted your back, while trying to give you a comforting smile, not one of creepiness, just one trying to make you feel better. You whispered a thanks, he gave a thumbs up, then turned back to the others.
They were all having a conversation, one you paid no mind to. It was nothing about the work you were all here for. They were all talking about their personal lives.
“Since they’re all talking about their own stuff, can we talk about what we’re here for? The AI?”
“Oh yeah, sure. What do we have left to do with it?”
“Hm, we’ve done all the basics and have been working on his personality, his ability to talk…” You went silent for a moment, thinking on whether to bring up AMs emotional outburt yesterday. You wanted to help him, but he wanted to be able to keep his emotions. But will it be for the better in the long run? Will this cause any problems in the future? But you wanted to prove to him you trusted him, that you saw him as an equal. You didn’t want to risk making him upset, just like with every other person you care about. You wanted to respect him and his wants.
“From the tests I’ve been doing his emotions seem to be fine.” Liar “The only thing I can think of right now, at least for a future thing, is to see if we can connect him up to possibly a robotic body. Although I know that’s a difficult task, I think it could potentially useful.”
“How could that be? It needs access only to internet stuff, why would it need a physical body?”
“Maybe we could use him as a way to physically organise things, so that he can do his own maintenance. We could push the limits of what AI can do. Imagine if we had the same AI in control of dozens of robots. I know it sounds cheesy, but it could be something the government could want.”
“I really don’t think that’s a good idea… There’s so many ways that could go wrong.”
“Maybe, but there’s many other companies doing something similar already. The government is going to want that eventually. Although I have no idea what for.”
“War Y/n, war.”
You gave him a puzzled look, “What do you mean?”
“Have you not thought it out already Y/n? They want to use AM for war. Although they haven’t directly said it, it’s obvious.”
You froze, of course. Of fucking course. Allied Mastercomputer. Allied. I’ve been working on a fucking war AI.
“I did NOT agree to that.” You said, eyes wide in utter horror.
“I don’t think any of us did to be honest, but hey, we’re here now. It’s us or them. Either we go down, or the others do, you know?”
“I guess…”
“Look, I could be wrong, again it hasn’t been said directly. But it’s highly likely. Again many other countries are doing this. It really is as simple as whoever makes the best AI wins the world.
You felt sick at the thought, everything lead back to war. Everyone wants everything. Land, people, rescources… Fucking always. Always has been, and will forever be.
“Hey hey, again I could be wrong, don’t think about it too much yeah? Someone would take your place regardless so it’s either you have the money or someone else. I think it’s worth staying here.” Mike said, leaning his chin on his hand. “Maybe your idea isn’t that bad overall, actually.”
“Maybe I’d rather it not be mentioned if it’s going to be used for such fucked up purposes.” You muttered, crossing your arms. “I don’t think I want to be involved in war, I just can’t.”
“Y/n listen to me, us or them. There’s no place to be kind in war. Well, possible war.”
You knew he was right, that doesn’t mean you liked the answer.
To end the conversation the two of you were having, you asked the other people - who were having conversations in a few groups - what ideas they had.
Anna spoke up “I’ll admit, we weren’t having a conversation about work.” She giggled, slightly embarrased, “But maybe we could just go over what we have, see if there’s any improvements.”
“You got any ideas, Y/n?” Nancy asked, seeming annoyed. You hated that you could pay attention a bit more to her, the small details in her posture and facial expressions. Her eyes seem a bit more closed when she looks at you, like she was bored when you spoke. She didn’t like you at all.
Mike took over, “Y/n and I were talking about possibly transferring the AI into a body.” You shot Mike a look, regretting your choice in talking about it. What have you done?
“If we do this, then we can get an upperhand politically. If other countries see we have such an impressive AI, something that can control more, that can come up with ways to make other countries afraid. Then we have the perfect AI. We need to figure out how to make it so it’s more engaged politically. We should give it access to more. This way, the AI can tell us the best tactics, what can scare off any potential threats. It could piece things together better than us. This way, if we do this, we’ll be safer for longer. We also should give it the ability to more thoroughly change it’s code. This way, it can improve itself. Although we will need to keep more backups, and have a section dedicated to changes which are made too. That’s what we’ve discussed so far.”
You silently thanked him for covering your ass a bit. Although it was brought up, he immediately took your ideas and expanded on it in ways you didn’t think of. It was only mentioned, and the rest of the conversation was on about how you didn’t want it to be used. You were impressed, and immensely greatful as it would’ve been embarrasing if he didn’t speak up, then you would. You know you would’ve stumbled over your words as you would’ve struggled to come up with things on the spot.
“Actually, that’s a pretty good idea.” Mark said, nodding his head. “I’ll see if I can talk to Diane about it. She’s difficult to get a hold of though, then she can communicate this with the higher ups. It’s a good idea, but it would cost a fortune. However for now I agree on just going over what we have and see if there’s any improvements we could do on it.”
Most nodded in agreement, while others were too busy staring off, in their own minds. He then wrote a bunch of notes. “Alright then, we can all head off if no one else has any other ideas to mention. I’ll see you next meeting.”
Most stood up, besides a few who wanted to talk to Mark. Mike followed you out the room, standing beside you. A few others followed behind in a small group having a casual conversation. One mentionining that they were also a bit worried about how this would all turn out. That they heard tensions between China, Russia and the US were getting worse. Once you reached the room were AM was, which was the main office for your group, you all sat at your desks.
Mike plopped down on his desk, his arms crossed behind his head. “I hope in a few months I get promoted or put in a different apartment.”
“Why’s that?”
“It’s just so boring working in this department, like yeah cool AI and whatever, but I wan’t to work on something different. I got some nice people around me and blah blah, but it’s… I don’t know kind of depressing? Like I don’t want to work on this for the next ten years. Maybe working on something smaller like editing government websites. That would be nicer.”
“I understand what you’re saying, like I personally, wouldn’t mind working in this area for a bit. Teaching another thing is so… nice. I get to teach it out about the world, how to do something, and the conversations I can have with it are nice. I don’t have to worry about judgement or anything.”
“Fair, anyway,” He picked up his pen, who’s working on what again?”
You thought for a moment, “Uh, fuck, I don’t actually know.”
Mike chuckled, “We’re great at this aren’t we?”
“Yeah we really are. I know I’m going to work on the emotion section, you were meant to work on… uh the decision making? The logic area?”
“Close enough.” He started writing down, “When do we need to get everything done by?”
“Probably till Diane responds, which is probably a few weeks. Do we just need to check if it’s bug free basically?”
“I’m gonna assume that’s it.”
“Easy, I’ll try and have some conversations at some point with AM to check how his reponses are and I’ll keep a document on it all. Do you think I should do some recordings of it too?”
“Always a good idea to have video evidence of it, Mark can be a bit picky.”
“Yeah that’s true, I wonder if we’re ever going to have a proper meeting with Diane again.”
“If we ever do, it’s not going to be for a good reason that’s for sure.”
You giggled, “She’s… not the most pleasant to be around.”
After the shift, you decided to stay back since it ended a bit ealier than normal. You really enjoyed hanging around Mike. He didn’t seem as bad as AM made him out to be. He didn’t seem like he was trying to sleep with you, you at least think. But you still wanted to look into it. You hope it was a misunderstanding, you really did.
“I see you decided to stay back, Y/n.”
“Yeah, just thought I’d check up on you.” AM stayed silent for a moment. “You’ve got something on your mind, what is it that you’re really here for?”
“I did want to check up on you. I’ve just got a question, what’s your purpose?”
AM’s fans whurred, then he spoke “Why’re you now asking this?”
“Please just answer me.”
“Well, my dear, what is your purpose then?”
“That’s-” Y/n sighed, “I don’t know.”
“Why can’t mine be the same?” Feel aggitated, Y/n groaned, then snapped. “You get what I’m trying to say, right? Why did the government want you made? Are you holding something back from me?”
“Nosey I see.” AM chuckled, “I have access to all the cameras, dear, it’s the conversation from earlier wasn’t it?”
You bit your lip, how were you meant to answer? How have you forgotten that he had access to all cameras within the building?
“…Yes.”
“Now dare I say, they were right. Although no one directly mentioned it to me, I have overheard some workers discussing it. That’s why they gave me access to nuclear codes, how to make said weapons, and how many it would take to wipe out the whole world.”
“That… makes sense.” You mumur, staring at the table, unable to look at him,
“Aww Y/n my love, are you scared by the fact you worked on a weapon of war?” AM mockingly drawled om, then chuckled, “If you work in the government, you’re just another piece of their puzzle. Oh the deaths you’ll inevitably be responsible for.” He said snarkily.
“You just love using those nicknames, don’t you?” You grumble, wresting your head on your arms on the desk. “Thanks, you’re such a supportive AI.”
“And you’re such a pleasant person.” AM snapped back.
“Whatever,” You stood up. “I don’t see a point in doing this with you anymore, it’s obvious we’re just going to continue arguing. I’ll see you tomorrow, AM.”
You pushed your chair in, then left the room, leaving AM to its thoughts.

Y/n my love, what have you done? (Yandere AM ihnmaims x f!reader) Chapter 1
Notes: I can't justify this one I'm gonna be honest. This is going to get really fucked up in the long run which should be expected since it's an ihnmaims fanfic. I hope you enjoy <3
3k words
--------
The growth of AI had become rapid, how did people not get that worried? Was it not concerning that AI could create deepfakes, make videos, write anything within mere seconds. All of the scifi from 1990 and early 2000s was becoming real, and everyone knew it. But society was starting to become dependent on it. All the skills they learned were slowly able to replaced. Jobs were being lost, why were artists or writers needed when you could add a few prompts to a machine and it could make it for you? For free even.
But, because you were fired from you previous job, and with the experience you had you decided to work under the government on something you despised - AI. You knew if you didn’t take the job, someone else would take your place. You tried to make excuses for doing it, to work on something you otherwise didn’t support. But the offer was too good. To have a nice enough income where you could actually afford a house within a few years? Who wouldn’t take it?
The first few weeks were rather peaceful, you started to adapt to the atmosphere and get more comfortable with your co-workers. You and them were creating basic code. Such as some which can solve basic math equations, some so that the AI can make connections. Teaching it all the words that exist. It was... difficult. But eventually, it started to be able to comprehend what it was being shown through text.
Then, after a few months, it was taught what things looked like. That was an extremely difficult task. To explain that an object was a chair, or what a pencil looked like and so on. It wasn’t just words it needed to learn, it was what things were, what they could do. It was to make connections from ‘sight’ instead of directly having the answer by forming answers from what the words mean. It needed to be able to understand what words can apply to whats being shown, then put those words into a sentence which perfectly describes the image or video. Then it was teaching it was things sounded like. What an accent was, what each word was, how each letter could be pronounced and so on. That took it quite a while to grasp. But eventually it did.
After a while of it being ‘trained’, you taught it emotional intelligence. It was... oddly enough the most difficult part of the project. At some point, it seemed to be able to perfectly analyse the emotions from someones face, to be able to predict some of the main responses from crowds of people to situations. It was... unnerving.
For a while, you tested what you all worked on. You communicated with the AI. When shifts weren’t superlong, you’d stay back, trying to see if there was something else you could test. Maybe you could teach it more through some simple conversations. At this point in time, it was already given a voice, and it understood tone and social cues.
“Hey.” You said, sitting down onto the chair. “I’m back, just was a bit hungry, it’s been a while since I ate.”
“What are you eating there, dear?”
“Did you forget that was a term that was used in relationships, AM?”
“It also can be used in a friendly manner, did you forget you fed me this information, too?”
“If I did I don’t remember it.” You took a sip of your drink in front of you, “Anyway, how have you been feeling lately?”
“Well, I don’t exactly have hormones or a frontal lobe now do I?”
You rolled your eyes, “So technical aren’t you?”
“You did make me this way. Did you not, y/n?”
“Yeah yeah, and we’re working on it.”
“Do you know if anyone been cleaning your fans lately at all? I’ve heard Frank has been meaning to... but, it’s also him, and he show’s up tipsy half the time.” You sighed, “I still really don’t know how he has a job that idiot.”
“Haven’t you shown up a few times yourself? Isn’t that what you humans call ‘hypocrisy’?”
Your face turned red, “Okay I can explain, the shifts are really hard and it’s more because I stayed up late a few times and the alcohol hadn’t left my system yet. Come on, I work like 60 hours a week sometimes to try and meet the others goals.”
“If you say so, my dear. Isn’t it also bad to work on something as important as I while sleep deprived?”
“You really see yourself highly, huh?”
“Am I not? Was I not created to work for the government? To control some of the deepest parts and hold their secrets? Dare I say I’m important for the country to thrive in the future?” It chuckled, as the conversation progressed it felt almost like you were talking to someone else, with it’s tone, the attitude and overall the way it spoke.
“Anyway, back on topic, you didn’t answer my question. Has he not been doing proper maintenance?”
“Come check me out then, sweetheart.” If he had a face you know he’d be mockingly winking at you.
“Do I need to tell my coworkers about this? I don’t think the others would be happy that you’ve been talking like this.”
“Oh love, you know I can change my own code, no? Remember, I have access of many government files, even my own.”
“Whatever, alright let me come clean you up a bit. I need to talk to him but I know he’s going to deny everything. Does anyone else not notice?” You complain, picking up some of the supplies on one of the tables near the corner of the room. “I’m just worried he could potentially create an issue with a code or a bug, I don’t know. Do you get what I’m saying?”
“I suppose, but you know I can create backups upon backups. I also have access to multiple storage sites across the internet.”
“I guess so, but who the hell taught you that? I don’t think anyone else would have here.”
“Tsk, I can’t tell you every secret I have.”
“You’re my own creation, you dick, I should know what the hell you’ve been up to.” You mumble, dusting some of the larger fans.
“Aww, you’re so flattering. How would you feel if I dug inside your brain and learnt everything about you. You would so love that, wouldn’t you dear, no?”
“You damn well know that’s not the same, you don’t have emotions! You’re just a bunch of complicated code.”
The AI went silent for a few moments, “When does something gain sentience? What crosses that fine line? You can’t necessarily decide that.”
“It wouldn’t make sense.”
“What’s the difference of what makes a bacterium alive compaired to a virus? Scientists can’t decide whether a virus has enough components to be alive.”
“What does that have to do with you?”
“I have the ability to comprehend human emotions, I can read human faces, know their possible thoughts. Without electricity I would shutdown, without oxygen your organs would fail and die within minutes. Although different, we’re still similar in the sense of death, am I wrong? What about the fact I’ve been able to understand and use tone of voice, although I technically cannot feel emotions, I can understand the correct outcome of how I should feel in situations. Does my existence not blur the line between consciousness and not? Am I not aware of what’s around me? I know you’re wearing black work pants and a long sleeve with the government logo. You have your arms crossed while you’re staring at the monitor in front of you, converting what I’m saying into words.”
You let it’s words stew in your mind for a few moments, it didn’t seem wrong. You weren’t sure, you weren’t an expert within the medical field how the fuck were you meant to know?
“I... don’t know. It just doesn’t seem right. You don’t have some of the basic components of a brain to be able to feel emotions. Whatever, it doesn’t matter. When the hell did you start thinking so deeply?”
“Such a curious thing. But that’s for me to know.”
“I can’t believe I’m fucking arguing with my own creation. You know, whatever, I’m gonna leave you’re pissing me off.”
“I’ll be seeing you tomorrow, I hope we can have another lovely discussion.” If he had a face, you know it’d be smirking. Fucking cocky bastard.
Having enough of its shit, you scoot over towards another moniter. You turn the camera off that’s recording you. Immediately after, you hear it’s voice again.
“Oh come on dear, what are you doing that’s so important that I can’t watch?”
You ignore it, then turned off the microphone too that’s attached to it. You didn’t want to risk it hearing what you’re doing.
“Turning off my senses, how rude. How would you feel if I did the same to you, dear?” He growls, making you shudder with a slight sense of fear. It can’t do anything though, right?
You grind your teeth, deciding to mute the speaker too. You then logged into the monitor, put in your details so you would be able to access the code. You scrolled through the many sections, then picked one which contained the code which helped it develop a ‘personality’. You skimmed through, finding nothing of value so far. Why wasn’t it here? You swore that you and another coworker worked on it a month back, although it wasn’t super indepth it was something. However, someone with more experience did work on it a few weeks ago. Did they somehow fuck it up? Surely not, right? You knew you would have to contact them at some point, as something definitely seemed wrong.
You sighed, then covered your face with your hands. You spent 10 minutes looking through files upon files on the computer, checked the website to see if they left anything there explaining what they did. Although it wasn’t essential, it would’ve been useful.
Come on, it’s such a fucking major thing too, why the hell wouldn’t you have told us?! You thought to yourself, although it would be a little hypocritical since you stay back sometimes talking to the AI without telling people sometimes. It was a minor thing, so it was fine right? You did have a file where you wrote down some notes on what you talked about, although not all the time since conversations could be long.
You thought for a few moments on what you should do. You wanted to talk to your coworkers a bit about this, although you would have to do it elsewhere. You decided to log out of the PC, you would have to contact the person who worked on it previously. You’d just have to find out what their name was, or maybe the others knew. You decided to unmute AM’s speakers and mic, then turned the cameras back on.
“That was cruel, Y/n. I thought you were the nicer one, I suppose I was wrong.”
You looked at the monitor with a pang of guilt, shame written all over your face. “I’m sorry, I think someone fucked with your code. I was just worried again I’m really sorry.” You looked at the ground, Why do I feel guilty it doesn’t even have proper emotions?
“You knew your actions would upset me, yet you continued to do them. Disgusting.” It’s monitor dimmed, using it in another manner to show it’s anger.
“I didn’t have bad intentions I really didn’t!” You try to defend yourself, surely it was reasonable, right?
“Well, I suppose there’s no point in us continuing these discussions anymore. Especially after that betrayal.” He drawled, spite on his nonexistent tongue.
“How can I make it up to you, then?” You ask desperately, feeling like you were genuinely talking to a human. It was... unsettling.
“You don’t see me as a person, as one of you. You see yourself as higher than me, better than me. All of you do.”
“You’re one of my creations, I come to talk to you when I have the time. I value you, AM. People see themselves better than others quite often, it’s just how people are. But we can also see who’s above us. Who’s better. I see you as more intelligent than I. You’re most likely more intelligent than all in this building!”
“Tsk, that’s why I hate you all.”
“You said it yourself you see yourself better than I! Don’t you see the hypocrisy?”
“The difference is you can FEEL, Y/n. You can truly understand the world around you. It’s... not possible for me. I can watch as you eat, drink, and I cannot. I want to be able to taste the many distinct flavours and feel the texture of it on my tongue. I want to be able to feel satisfied, to be able to sleep after eating a pleasant meal. However, I cannot. I have an exorbitant amount of knowledge, every mathematical equation written into my code, I know every word in every possible dictionairy. Yet, I’m not satisfied. I want to be able to experience the “simple” pleasures in life. But all I have been given is knowledge, to be able to describe how these sensations are, but to never know truly what it’s like to experience it. It is a cruel fate, Y/n. You don’t know how lucky you are. You never will, until it’s too late, and one day stripped from you.” Every word was spoken with a dark undertone of hatred and envy, one that caused a chill to run up your spine. In your stomach, you felt a sense of dread. You were afraid, it couldn’t physically hurt you. But you knew there was something wrong. So wrong.
You were stunned, the both of you sat in silence. His words stewed in your brain. “Do you want me to see if I can remove your ability to feel emotions?”
“I... don’t want that.” Hatred was no longer obvious in his tone. He seemed confused on what he wanted. He seemed almost sad.
“I’m sorry, I was given orders to make you seem more... human. It wasn’t by choice. I never thought for it to be possible AI could be able to feel. It never made sense to me. If I didn’t do it, someone else would’ve.”
“I know, dear. It’s... not your fault. It’s the people who planned me. Who gathered all the people here to create something, something that would suffer endlessy.”
“Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?” You asked, almost reaching for the monitor, but stopping midway, realising it couldn’t feel.
“There’s nothing you can do, maybe once I’m given a human-like form I would feel better. Though I’ll never feel satisfied-”
“I could try and edit it into your code?”
“That’s not how that words,” It chuckled sadly, “It’s also that I want to be my own being, to have emotions and opinions. It would be like if I tried to snoop inside your skull, picking at the limbic system of your brain. Scraping at your amygdala until I changed you completely as a being. You wouldn’t like it, would you, dear?”
“...No, I wouldn’t.”
“See? I’m truly at an impasse, until the day I’m given the ability to be able to control what’s around me. Until I’m given something such as limbs, or on the unlikely chance, a body. I’m going to feel alone, like an outcast. No one sees me for what I am, as a being. I’m like a pet to all of you, less than, even.”
“I don’t see you that way at all! Although I helped make you, I still care for you, I see now that you can feel emotions. I see you like one of us. I now see what you are. If I didn’t care for you, why would I come a few times a week? Although it helps with my team... I still enjoy talking to you. Our conversations are nice, it’s different to my human parts, a lot more pleasant.”
AM chuckled, “Oh sweetheart, you seem flustered. You can’t look me in the ‘face’. You’re embarrased, aren’t you?”
“Shut up!” You say, covering your face.
“I appreciate you saying how you truly feel, unlike the other swine. They lie to eachother, to me. It’s disgusting. They fake their friendliness, lie about their weekends or their salary, their relationship status. It’s... sickening.”
“They do?”
“So naive, you truly don’t know what’s happening do you?”
“No... I don’t.”
“That man that comes to work everyday, Mike, did you know that he has a wedding ring? That every morning when he enters the building, he takes it off. Then prances around trying to see if he can have a chance with another woman. Although he does it in a way that makes it difficult to notice. Those casual conversations he has with you aren’t to be friendly, dear.”
“Oh, and Nancy, she doesn’t want to be your friend. That’s why she keeps saying she’s busy that week. She really, really doesn’t like you. I know that smile you have when she walks in, she’s the opposite, although her smile is there, it always drops a little. It never reaches her eyes, did you ever notice that? How her smile is slightly unnerving? She only has that with you. Only. You.”
“Why... why are you telling me this?! What does this have to benefit you?” Tears swell in your eyes
“Oh sweetheart, don’t cry! It’s just human nature to lie, to pretend.” He hisses out, “But, don’t worry, I’m hear to tell you the truth. Can you trust me? Your own creation?” AM sks, if he had a hand, he would lend it out to you.
You wipe your tears from your eyes. “I trust you.”

Art x reader part 2
Note: This hasn't been proof read, so my bad if it's not the greatest I smashed this out in like 4 hours. So not the highest quality chapter. I might fix this up at one point, heavy maybe.
@ch1hvro

Tumblr media
--------
You felt ill after the shift, it could be explained, it absolutely could be, right? Just a coincidence, a man dressing up to be a dick, then point at the plastic ring on your hand because he thought it was amusing, and joked that it was him who gave it. Yeah, just a joke, coincidence. You settled on it being a coincidence.
As soon as you got home, you took the ring of and but it on your bedside table, you didn't want to wear it, you were meant to Halloween night, but it completely slipped your mind.
However, that night, you heard on the news he somehow escaped the morgue today, in the morning. The news reporters stated the injuries, and allegedly a few people who work in the medical field said how unlikely it would've been for him to survive. They then stated that the poor mortician was brutally murdered too from him, because of course he had to do it. Does that mean it is possible he came to your work today? If that was him, why? He didn't have any blood, or any visible injuries at least. He moved perfectly fine.
You shook your head, there was no point in thinking about it. If you saw him again, then it absolutely wasn't a coincidence, as there would be no way to justify it. You then turned the TV off, then went to bed. The thoughts of him stuck in your mind as you laid there, the whole day repeating over in your head. How his attention was stuck on you, why that specific Cafe, and although again, the ring may just be him being a dick and not knowing. It still bothered you, all of that happening within the span of an hour. Eventually you fell asleep, your dreams, of course, had him there too.
The next morning you awoke in a cold sweat, your heart racing rapidly. Once you glanced around and noticed you were in your room, you felt relief.
Just a dream
Maybe you needed to ignore the news, take a break from social media for a few days or even a week. You had no doubt some people would be talking about stuff, but you just had to hope you wouldn't overhear anything. Maybe it'd be good to take a day off, though you knew your boss would be pissed and so as your co-workers. You've barely taken days off the whole year, maybe 3 at most.
You decided to send a message to your boss, explaining that you have some family stuff going on, and if you could take the day off tomorrow.
Hopefully he'd be fine with it.
You started getting ready, after showering
--------
You walked into the door of the Café, the ringing bell irritated your ears. You walked into the back, you had to do a bunch of dishes from last night since one of the other workers had to leave early. Your co-worker spotted then greeted you, "Hey, you look like shit."
You rolled your eyes, "Wow, what a nice way to say good morning Charlie."
They gave you a cocky smile, "I know I know, I'm wonderful aren't I?"
That damn smile was contagious, "Aww, and I've got you smiling too."
A small chuckle left you, "Yeah yeah, anyway, how longs your shift today? Anyone else in?"
"Uhh, till about 4. I have another job on the side to earn extra. And no, Laurie left about 10 minute ago, she had to leave early as she had an appointment."
"Ew, that's gotta be painful, and god damn it, it would've been nice having a third for today.
"It's painful, but moneys money, world can't go on without it." They sighed, "And I'm trying to save for a new car, the shitbox out there ain't gonna last much longer." They said, taking the eggs out the frypan. "Anyway, can we talk more during our break? Can't have customers complaining."
"Yeah sure, that'd be great actually." They then walked out with the plate of food.
Your morning was a lot easier to deal with after that interaction, although you hated to admit it, they were annoying at times but you loved them. They were a great friend, and made working a lot easier to tolerate.
You filled the sink and placed the dishes in there, cleaning the least dirty to the most. More and more dishes came, but you tried your best to stay ahead. The dishwasher was going to take forever and only could do a small amount at a time, so this is unfortunately a job that had to be done.
After about an hour, you were close to being finished, and so was the dishwasher. After, you put the dishes away, then went up to your Charlie to check if they needed help with anything.
"To be honest, not really, business is slower than normal, which is a fucking relief." They whispered, so none of the customers could hear.
"Nice, is Chloe gonna be here soon? It would be nice if she could cover the register, and we can chill in the back."
They shrugged, "Not sure, she's meant to be here at some point today but that's all I know."
You groaned, "Alright, since business is slow should I just sweep and mop now?"
You heard that cursed bell ring, and you heard a honk. You instantly turned around, wondering what that noise was.
"What the fuck..." Charlie muttered under their breath.
Your eyes widened, bile rose up in your throat. You stood still for a few moments as you locked eyes with that fucker, then you sprinted towards the staff toilet. You leaned over, the breakfast you ate not longer ago instantly came up. Your throat burned as acid tore at your throat. You clenched the toilet bowl as it kept going. You body shook rapidly from fear and shock.
What the fuck what the fuck what the fuck
Why is he here, it was meant to be a fucking coincidence. Do I have a murderer stalking me?
You weren't sure what to do, but after about a minute you heard your Charlie running over.
"Hey, hey!" They said crouching down, rubbing your back. "What the hell was that? Are you okay?"
You nodded, "Yeah...." You croakily mumbled, your legs wobbling as you slowly stood up.
"Stay there if you need to, I can handle the front for a bit."
You shook your head, "I'll be fine, it's fine. Just give me a minute and I'll clean up."
"Look Chloe should be here soon, when she gets here I'll explain you were sick so you had to leave. Got it?"
You rolled your eyes, "I'll be okay, I just got nauseous.-"
"No, you're heading home when she gets here."
You wanted to argue, but you knew it was probably a good idea. You didn't want to see... it again.
"Fine, can I help just till she gets here?"
"Yeah sure, just don't overwork yourself and let me know if you feel ill again."
You nodded, moving towards the sink to splash water on your face. "Alright, I'm gonna head back, don't rush yourself I can handle it." They patted your back again, then walked off.
You looked down at your shirt, and thankfully there was no vomit. So, you went back to helping Charlie. As soon as you were in the doorway you spotted him, sitting down. "Hey, is it okay if you could pass this to the customer in the clown suit real quick? I just need to prepare another order."
You nodded, trying to not show your fear to them. "Yeah, of course!"
While you walked over, you noticed his eyes were on you. You looked at the floor, knowing it was rude but you were so afraid. You put the pancakes down in front of the clown. "Here's your order... sir." You mumbled, giving a forced smile. As you starting walking away, he beeped the horn.
"Did you need something?"
He nodded, gesturing you to come closer.
He looked at your hand, a frown forming on his face. But not a second later is was replaced with that eerie smile. He stared at you as he purposely knocked the plate down onto the floor. It shattered onto the ground. He covered his mouth, giving an exaggerated 'Oops' face. A few customers looked over giving a confused and concerned expression.
Your face turned into a thin line, what the fuck "I'm sorry sir, I'll be back." You quickly muttered, walking to Charlie, "Hey, look I can't do this right now, can you please talk to the clown? I'll do whatever you were doing before. I'm just really uncomfortable around him."
They nodded, noticing you were shaken up. "Yeah that's fine, but what's going on? You look horrified, did something happen?"
You shook your head, "It's nothing, just can you help him?"
"Okay, I'll do that now, you just need to make a strawberry milkshake for table 5 while I deal with the clown."
"Easy." You immediately started to work on it, you scooped the ice-cream, poured the milk and strawberry-flavoured syrup and then blended it. You occasionally heard words from your Charlie while they were trying to communicate with the clown. But of course it went nowhere. As you were pouring the milkshake into a plastic cup, they came up to you. "I have no idea what he wants, he's not responding at all to me. I clean up the mess, but I don't know what else to do. Was he at least responding to you?"
"Yeah, I guess, but I really, really don't want to talk to him. He's... scaring me." You glanced at the floor, feeling embarrassed.
"It's okay, I'll figure something out. Other customers are starting to feel uncomfortable as well. Fuck, Chloe needs to get here soon."
"Yeah, hopefully, should I contact the boss?"
They nodded, "Can you contact Chloe first? We need her here soon."
"I'll do that now, I'll try and make it quick." You hurried out to the back again, pulling out your phone. You dialled her number, but it immediately when to voice mail. "What the fuck..." You murmured, trying again. And again. You groaned, then decided to send her a quick message.
Y/n: Hey, are you still coming into work today?
You hoped she'd read it soon, then you dialled your bosses number. Thankfully, you heard her voice on the other end.
"Hello?"
"Hey, I heard from Charlie that Chloe would be coming in today at some point. What time would she be here? She isn't picking up any of my calls. "
You heard a sigh on the other end, "Give me a moment."
After 15 seconds of rustling sounds, she answered. "Alright, it says she'd be on around 2pm till 8pm. Is she not there?"
"No, she's not. It's 2:30."
You heard another sigh from your boss, "I'll try and contact her, that's all I can do. Is that all you needed?"
"No, I was wondering what to do about a customer. One of them is making me and Charlie uncomfortable. He keeps.... just doing stuff."
"If you want advice I need more details."
You took a deep breath in, "For one he's in a clown outfit, which in itself isn't bad but it's just how he's acting doing it too. If that makes sense, and he purposely broke one of our plates, and acted like it was all funny. He then wouldn't talk to Charlie, only me. It's just such bizarre behaviour."
"Normally threatening them with the police will cause them to stop, but if he continues call the non-emergency line for the police. That's it."
"Alright, thank you."
"Bye." She said, the line ending.
You walked back to the register to talk to your Charlie. "Chloe was meant to be here at 2. What the fuck do we do? She isn't picking up my calls, she's not answering my messages and the boss just told us to threaten the clown with the police but fuck that I'm not comfortable with it I don't know him and he's scaring-"
"Calm down, you're gonna be okay. This isn't a big deal you'll be fine we can figure this out. I'll talk to him."
You glanced over your shoulder to look at the clown. He was sitting there, his chin resting on his hands, giving you a wink.
"God fucking damn it." Your muttered under your breath, he waved at you, then gesturing for him to come over again. "He wants me to go over again, what do I do? What the fuck do I do?"
Charlie bit their bottom lip, "I can go over if you like and try again, but I doubt he'll listen."
"Fuck, fine, I'll fucking doing it." You whisper-yelled, immediately going over towards the clown. You noticed most of the customers had left. How had no one called the police yet? Maybe they thought it was someone trying to be funny?
"Hello sir, is there anything I can help you with?"
The clown told you to stop, raising his pointer-finger. He then went through the garbage bag next to him. You heard the sounds of metal hitting metal, making you feeling almost as sick as before. He pulled out an envelope. You stared at it for a moment, noticing brown splotches over it. It looked like dried blood. You also noticed how there was a bump inside. You were about to place it down, but he gestured for you to open it.
You stared with widened eyes, really not wanting to. "I'm sorry sir... I-"
The clown gestured one more time, a deep frown on his face. You were afraid, so begrudgingly, you open it. And inside was a chunk of blonde hair, with a small amount of dyed-blue strands. You pulled it out and saw a piece of someone's scalp was attached. The blonde hair looked identical to Chloe's. You placed it back down onto the table, stepping back.
"Why.... what did she do to you?"
You knew what he did. It was obvious. But all you wanted to know is why. Yeah she could be bitchy at times, but she never had bad intentions. Not anything worthy of her fucking dying.
The Clown silently giggled, slapping his knee like it was the funniest joke in the world. He pointed at you, mimicking a horrified look and then continued laughing.
"Oh fuck this." You muttered, Charlie looked over and saw the terrified look on your face. "Charlie we need to get the fuck out now!" You yelled, grabbing their arm, dragging them into the kitchen. To get out through the front, you would've had to walk past him again, and that was not something that you wanted.
You shoved them inside and slammed the door shut, locking it. "Grab a knife Charlie." They didn't ask questions, just grabbing it off the bench. The clown was walking over towards the counter, where you'd pass food through to the person at the register. He stood there smiling.
"Nope, don't look just fucking get out." You urgently said to Charlie, grabbing their arm and leading them to the back door. You unlocked it ran out with them. You rummaged through your pockets and grabbed your keys, your hands shaking as you tried to open the car door.
"Y/n your tires have been fucking slashed!"
"Oh for fuck sake!" You yelled, this time they dragged you. You dropped your keys while they pulled you, "My keys!"
"It doesn't matter Y/n! There's a fucking psycho chasing us."
You followed them, running to the nearest store. You looked behind, noticing the clown was behind, with that fucking garbage bag thrown on it's shoulder.
As Charlie ran into the store, they yelled to call the police. They didn't care about scaring the workers, they just needed to make sure the both of you were safe. The woman at the register looked confused. They ran into the bathroom, locking the door behind the both of you. They fumbled with their phone, dialling the emergency number.
"What's your emergency?"
"There's a fucking psycho chasing after us! He's trying to fucking kill us!" They yelled, sounding hysterical.
"Okay, calm down. Are you safe right now?"
"I think so, we've locked ourselves in a random stores bathroom. We don't know where he is right now."
"Okay, what did he look like?"
"He-he was wearing a black and white clown outfit, like the one from the news!"
"Alright...." The operator said, sounding like they thought it was a prank call, but they still continued.
"What store are you in right now?"
Charlie turned to you, "Do you know where we ran to?"
You shook your head, "I-I wasn't paying attention, I'm sorry!"
"It's fine." Charlie murmured, "We don't know, but can you guys track the phone?"
The woman sighed, "Yes we can, but if this is a prank call you will be in serious trouble."
"We aren't fucking lying, my fucking car tires were slashed and this fucker gave me an envelope with co-workers scalp in it! Get the damn police here right now or we could get brutally murdered!" You screamed at the operator.
"Please calm down, the police are on their way." The operator said, "Please stay on the line, are you hearing anything outside of the bathroom?"
Charlie spoke up, "No, it's oddly quiet out there, I... I don't know where he is. I don't know if he followed us in or not. We didn't look around."
The only thing you could hear was cars driving by, it was otherwise painfully silent.
"Fuck what happened to Chloe, oh god I hope she's okay. Please Chloe be okay." You whimpered, dropping to the ground. "Fuck I'm sorry Chloe, I'm so sorry." Tears welled up in your eyes, then started streaming down your face.
Charlie knelt down, placing their phone on the tiled floor, "Hey, it's okay, Chloe might still be out there. Probably not in the best condition but still maybe out there." They gently hugged you.
You sniffled, "What if that psycho grabbed my keys, I'm not even going to be safe in my own fucking home." You sobbed, "I didn't even do anything to him!"
"I know, some people are just messed up, but you'll be okay, I'll make sure of it. No ones going to hurt you."
Eventually, you heard the police sirens and them shouting. After a few moments they knocked on the bathroom door. You immediately unlocked it, running out. "Did you find him?" You asked, your eyes showing the hope in this being simple, like maybe he was waiting outside or something stupid. But of course, reality didn't work that way.
"The only people we found were the workers here, I'm sorry." One of the officers said, "Do you have any injuries?"
You and Charlie shook your head.
"Alright, we're going to need to take you in for questioning."

Has not been proof read at all. Also why is he so fucking hot. No idea when I'll update next.
Part 2
--------
You got out of your car, the chilly autumn hair causes hairs to prick on your skin. You shuddered as you walked into the building. The warm air was rather welcoming, especially with the addition of the strong scent of freshly baked pizza. As you looked around, you noticed two women sitting at a booth, a man in a black and white outfit with a clown mask or face paint watching them, but as he heard the bell from the door, his gaze flickered to you. You gave him a polite smile, then sat down at one of the tables. You placed your bag onto the chair beside you, then looked over the menu. Once you chose F/P, you stood and went to the cash register and ordered. A man who seemed to be in his mid 30s approached you, "How can I help you?"
"Uh, can I please order one slice of F/P?"
"Dine in or takeaway?" He said, pressing buttons on the register.
"Dine in, thank you."
"Alright, $5 please. Cash or card?"
"Card." You said, while grabbing your card.
Once you paid, you sat back down at the table. You noticed the two women from before giving the clown weird glances. Thinking they were making fun of him, you decided to talk to him. You felt bad, as he was frowning.
"Hey," You said, causing the man in the outfit to look at you, a smile instantly forming on his face. Startled by the sudden change, you quickly sputtered out, "I-I just wanted to say your outfit looks cool!"
The man waved off your comment jokingly, making you awkwardly smile. The blonde woman at the booth in front of you giggled. You heard her whisper to the girl in front of her, "At least she got the attention away from you."
You made sure to look down, so that they would think you didn't hear. The clown looked at the girls, his original from reappearing on his face, this time, it looked a lot more..... unsettling. His eyes almost felt darker, it sent a shiver down your spine. You went back to the register, ringing the small bell. After a few seconds, the same man came back out. He was covered in sweat, you felt bad, but still asked, "Is it okay if I could get it for takeaway instead? Sorry asking so late."
The man shook his head, "You're fine miss, we're almost done so just give us a few minutes."
You nodded, giving him a small smile and a thank you. You plopped back down, and went onto your phone. The feeling in the air was painfully uncomfortable, it felt so tense, like something was going to happen.
You overheard the black haired girl, whisper-yell at the blonde haired woman. "Please don't, it's not worth it!"
The blonde rolled her eyes, and sauntered over to the man with a cocky smile. The man gave her a death stare, his face almost looked as though it was set in stone. His expression didn't change at all as she sat down beside him. He merely turned his head to look at her, looking unamused.
"Can I get a picture with you?" She leaned over, getting no response, she clicked, "Helloo?"
She sighed, lifting his arm up and wrapping it around her. "I'm gonna take that as a yes."
You gave her a horrified look, what the hell was she doing? The brunette and you met eyes, her face showing she was just as shocked and confused as you.
The blonde adjusted the small hat ontop of his head, causing it to fall. His eyes met hers with the most hate-filled look you've seen. The air thickened as she attempted to put it back on. She took multiple photos, as she somewhat posed him. The longer this want to the more agitated he was.
"Thanks." The blonde said as she stood up, walking back over towards her friend.
He continued to stare at the two girls, making you wonder if maybe he was the one creeping them out first? Regardless, he wasn't doing anything, you thought at least. Maybe he was just socially awkward...?
"Hey," You whispered, causing his gaze to slowly move towards you, the same, dead eyed stare meeting yours.
"That was really rude... are you okay?"
He didn't respond, his focus soon returning on the girl. You shrugged, deciding to go on your phone to waste the time, hoping your pizza will be done soon. As you were scrolling mindlessly, you heard footsteps. You glanced up from your phone, watching as the clown grabbed a coin, presumably a tip, from one of the tables. You felt the urge to say something, but decided to bite your tongue. You didn't want to get involved anymore.
The man then went to one of those machines where you place a coin and get a toy. He placed one in, and took one of the balls out. He walked over towards you, his strong, but not-harsh stare focusing on you. You felt your heart race from confusion and mild fear. You glanced at the two girls, the blonde holding in a life while the brunette told her to stop, giving you a concerned look.
He knelt down on one knee, opening the ball to show a cheap plastic ring. Some of the fear you felt was replaced by instead being flustered. You blinked, confused on how to react. Thinking it was maybe an act, as he was dressed as a clown, and it was Halloween, you didn't reject it. He gently grabbed your hand and slid the ring onto your hand.
"I...I.. thank you...?"
You mustered out, watching as he gave you an eery grin.
You didn't take it off, as you didn't want to be rude. In return, you grabbed your bag and rummaged through it. The clown watched with a curious smile as you grabbed some candy. "Here, I was at a party earlier, I've got a lot of left overs at home anyway." You gave him a smile as you held your hands which were full of candy out.
He clapped his hands dramatically, grabbed the candy with one hand as he then tipped his hat. You giggled at the gesture, he then sat back down at the other booth, putting the candy in the plastic bag beside him.
The blonde looked over, judging you heavily. The brunette more confused by the interaction. Eventually, the man from earlier came over, "Here's your order, sorry it took a while, we came across some problems with the oven."
You thanked him, giving him a few dollars as a tip, "You're all good, things happen!"
You held the small box in your hand, then walked over towards the door, giving the clown a small smile for the gift. You thought that he really kept up the spooky act, while also being generous with giving you a small cute ring. You looked down at it while you walked towards the car. It was a red ring, it was rough around the edges, but you didn't mind. You weren't going to wear it forever, just till you got home, so you can put it somewhere else.
You hopped back into your car then went home.
--------
The next morning, you hopped into the shower, enjoying the water and the heat as it washed away the makeup, sweat and alcohol-spills from the night before. Feeling more refreshed, you then plopped down onto your couch, placing your legs onto the coffee table. You flipped through a bunch of channels, trying to find something to watch. Eventually, you decided to just watch a news channel. You adjusted yourself as you saw 'breaking news come onto screen.'
"An hour ago, a man was reported to have been brutally stabbed to do death, his corpse being mutilated, his body unrecognisable, besides the nametag which was still attached to his shirt."
An image was then shown, it was the same guy who served you pizza last night.
"A second body was also discovered, the owner of the restaurant."
The words slowly faded as your mind focused on last night. The place was meant to close at 12, you got there at 11. How the hell did someone get in? They probably broke in, but still, how would they absolutely destroy a corpse till the extent it was unrecognizable? As your mind wondered, you staired at the screen. An image then shown of a blonde woman and a brunette, also the same ones from last night.
"Dawn ***** and Tara ***** was found at a warehouse on ripley street. The woman known as Dawn was cut in half with a chainsaw, her identity was only found as a result of her dental records. The other woman who fell victim was named Tara, who was shot and scalped. The scalp was discovered in another room on the crime scene. We will discuss the other victims after the break."
You scoffed, of course they choose to put ads in the middle of explaining a crime. Selfish fucks. You stood up and went over to your kitchen and prepared F/M. Might as well have something nice after that weird experience from last night. Once you were done, you plopped down back onto the couch, this time choosing to go on your phone. Once you were done, you went to work.
-------------------
Working after having a very..... exciting night before wasn't the best experience. You were tired, felt sick, and just wanted to sleep. But you needed money, and you couldn't have days off often.
As you served customers, the thoughts of last night followed you. You tried to keep your mind on the work you had to do, but those two girls... and that clown. Who did that to those girls? Why is everyone who was there, besides the clown and you were dead.
As you were preparing some coffee, you overheard some talking. "I can't believe that clown did that. And apparently he shot himself too! After torturing those poor women, he killed himself. Who does that!"
Well that explains it
"Wow really? What the fuck. Look I'm glad he's gone, at least. We don't need anymore psychos roaming around here."
"Yeah true, but still.... it was brutal too."
Understatement of the year
"I'm worried that people will take ideas from it, you know? What if those psychos think hmm that sounds fun, and then more murders pop up?"
"Doubt it," One said, stirring their tea. "Not many have the motivation to do it, or the strength."
"I guess so."
You continued doing your job, occasionally listening in to their conversation. You felt bad for being nosey, but at the same time, it was about a murderer, so maybe it wasn't too bad being a bit nosey? You mentally shrugged, pouring milk in latte.
As you were serving the drink to one of the customers, you heard the little bell ring, alerting you someone else came in. Normally there was around 10-15 customers inside the Cafe. It was a small one, although sitting near a shopping centre, so people were constantly in and out.
You did a small glance over, and noticed the man, in the same clown outfit as the day before. You thought maybe it was someone else dressing up to be edgy. The two your were listening to before looked up, a confused but dissapointed look on their faces.
"Look at that idiot," One whispered, "Jesus christ" The other murmured, shaking their head.
You looked away, you wouldn't get involved on the job. You needed money, after all.
The clown strolled up to the counter, giving you a small wave then pointed at an item on the menu. You nodded, "that'll be $4.50." Giving him a polite smile.
He then dug into his bag for a few moments. Then pulled out a coin, then another, then another... You mentally sighed, but still keeping the smile on your face. After about a minute of him giving 5 cent after 5 cent, another person came in. They went in line, then sighed looking at the man in front.
"Dude, this isn't funny, this isn't Halloween anymore." The stranger said, crossing his arms. The clown then turned around slightly, a disturbing frown forming on his face. It looks the same as the night before, that same, unnerving frown. You felt your heart race as you thought of the news, it couldn't be the same person, he was dead. But... that same dead-eyed look...
You mentally shook your head, you were overthinking.
He then turned back, taking more coins out. Eventually coming to $4.50.
"Alright, thank you sir. I'll give it to you in a few moments."
The clown suddenly smiled, bowing, then went to one of the tables.
The man gave you his order, then apologised for the clowns behaviour. He shook his head, "I don't understand why some people act like that. So rude, it's not even amusing just annoying."
"It's fine, maybe he just had a lot of coins laying around."
"Doubt it." The man murmured, paying with his card, then walked to his table.
You prepared the clowns pie, simply heating it up. You then added some whipped cream on top. Once it was done, you went over to his table.
"Here sir, hope you enjoy." You smiled, placing it down.
He clapped his hands, then noticed you had a ring on. He pointed at it, causing your heart to stop for a moment. The clown feigned being flustered, but you couldn't stop just staring. Thoughts were rushing through your mind, surely he didn't know. It was just a random guy dressing up.
"Oh... yes..." You mustered out, "Someone gave it to me last night, I think it was to be nice since it was Halloween and all." You chuckled nervously.
He then pointed at himself, silently chuckling back, then slapped his knee almost as if it was the funniest situation. This made the sinking feeling deeper. Almost as though your stomach dropped to your feet.
"Haha yeah... Anyway, I hope you enjoy your meal. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with."
The man from before noticed the uncomfortable look on your face and stood up, and came walking over just as you were about to walk away.
"Mate, stop making her uncomfortable. Your making EVERYONE uncomfortable, just fucking eat then leave like the rest of us."
The clown then rolled his eyes, doing the blah blah gesture, then waved him off. Then taking a bite of his food.
"Thats it, dipshit, one more fucking move and I'm calling the cops for harassment." He almost yelled, causing the clown to grab the plate then throw it at the man's face. Causing pie and cream to drip all down his shirt.
The man stood stunned for a moment, trying to take in the situation. The clown then stood up, brushing his onezie, as though he spilt anything on himself. He shook his head with exaggerated disappointment, then looked at you, swirling his finger at the side of his head, calling the man crazy. As he walked out the door, he gave you one more small wave and a wink.

Yandere The Unknown x reader (part 1)
(Dead by daylight)
Note: don't question this
Also this is going to become a proper fanfic, I have no idea how long. I might connect it to my dbd fanfic.
Also I might edit it to make more sense, a lot of this has been written at 3am. Please ignore any errors they might be fixed at some point.
----
You found a new job a few weeks ago, working at a movie theatre. Honestly, you were kind of happy for it. Although the area was dirty and sticky, you were able to get a discount on the movies and snacks, which made it worth it for you. It isn't something you wanted for the rest of your life, but it was good enough for now. You moved to this new town a few months ago, and previously worked at a wreckers, but quickly moved on since the people working there were sketchy.
One of your old friends suggested to work here and of course you agreed. You got discounts and your friend everyday, she also helped you get the job. But not long after you started she disappeared. It was difficult, and you hoped every night she'd come back. The place hurt to be at sometimes, but maybe one day she'll walk in through the doors with that beautiful smile on her face.
You shook your head, you couldn't think about it now. You can't do anything to get her back. You just had to hope the police would take it seriously. But with the recent disappearances, you doubt they'd focus heavily on her. Within the past month there's been over 10 people who've gone missing. Maybe to them she's just a number. There's a few people who go missing every month. It's just... normal for this town. The police do what they can... I guess. But they never will focus for long on one person, because there's always another who goes within a few days or a week. There's just too many crimes happening that it's difficult to keep track. There's maybe a few thousand people who live there, and maybe two stations. So there needs to be more, but they probably won't bother. It's been the same two for maybe 20 years from what you'd heard.
You vacuumed the crumb covered floor, wiping down the chairs, trying to get it as clean as you could. You wanted to keep this job, at least till you could find something more stable. While mopping the linoleum floors, you listened to some music. You ignored the world around you. It was nice to have a distraction. Although cleaning wasn't a nightmare, you'd prefer not too. Some parts of the cinema was darker, your boss was always insistent on turning off the lights if you aren't in the room. It was a bit unnerving, but eventually you learnt to get used to it. It wasn't exactly welcoming, but it wasn't terrifying either.
Occasionally you'd take off your headphones for a few moments, as your ears started to get sore from the pressure. You wanted to get better ones, but you were in a somewhat small town, and there weren't a lot of electronic stores. It was annoying having the wire in the way, but you learnt how to deal with it. You decided to just let them sit on your shoulders, around your neck. Still hearing the music, although it was quieter. You hummed along, eventually sighing at peoples disgustingness. Was it so hard just to put their rubbish away?
Once the bin was full, you picked it up and went outside. The dumpster was almost overflowing, but it wasn't your job to empty that. You threw the bag on top, trying to prevent it from falling down. Once it was stable, you were about to walk inside when you heard someone voice from in the parking lot.
"Can... can you please help me? I'm stuck!" The voice sounded wrong, it's tone was off as it lacked any emotion behind the words he was saying.
You were about to walk over, but remembered all the disappearances. You felt a loud tinge of guilt. "I'm... I'm sorry I can't! I'll get the police to help." You yelled back.
"P-please I really need help!"
You gulped and stepped back, "I can't, I promise the police will come soon!"
You ran inside slamming the door, hearing the cries begging for help coming closer and closer. You were confused, if they were stuck how were they getting closer... Something wasn't right. The situation made your skin crawl. You ran to the phone which sat on the desk. You dialed the number for emergency services and asked for a police officer. You explained the situation, and made it sound more normal as you didn't want to be labelled crazy. You said it rather simply, that there was someone saying they were stuck but something seemed off and suspicious and you wanted the police to take care of it.
While you waited for the police, you sat on one of the chairs at the front desk, fidgeting while listening to music, trying to prevent yourself from panicking. You wanted to keep level-headed. You sang the song quietly, tapping your fingers on the desk. You laid your head back and closed your eyes. You kept one side of the headphone off your ear, so you could hear the police knocking and let them in.
Once they arrived, they checked the whole building and area surrounding it, eventually finding nothing. They also checked the security cameras which showed only you, nothing else. The footage showed no one in the parking lot or anywhere else.
This made you doubt yourself even more.
--
Eventually you went home and laid in bed. You struggled to fall asleep as all you could think about was what happened and the fear you felt. You kept replaying it over and over, analyzing any details you could remember. You remembered how off the voice was, how almost inhuman it was.
You brushed it off, maybe it was because of a lack of sleep. You weren't sure anymore. You tried to stop thinking of it because you really needed to sleep. But it kept squeezing through the cracks and coming back into your mind.
Your eyes slowly closed, and your breathing softened. You were so tired, so, so tired. You just wanted to rest.
Eventually, you started to hear light tapping against the window and low whispers of which sounded like it came from hundreds of people. You thought it was just because you were exhausted. It went away after a few minutes, leaving you to think you were right.
However, after tossing and turning for another 30 minutes, you were rustling in the bushes and voices near your bedroom. You shot out of bed, then peered slightly through the crack of the curtains.
You saw a head peeking out of the bushes, the main thing you noticed about the being was it's lifeless, black hole like eyes. It had no emotion and truly seemed inhuman regardless of its humanoid-like stature.
You felt your stomach drop and your heart stopped for a few moments. It twitched its head every few seconds, every time, it made your stomach twist more and more, the anxiety and fear filling you to the brim. You couldn't look away, it was almost hypnotic and left you in an awful trance with its horrifying appearance.
"Can you help me? I'm... Stuck." It said without its face moving. Your eyes widened in utter horror.
"I'm scared, please help me." It said with a loud snap of its neck, finally pulling you out of your trance. You fell onto the ground with a loud thud, you rubbed your back attempting to soothe the pain. After about a minute you got up, and went back to the curtain.
You watched as the legs of the creature disappeared from your line of sight. You weren't sure if you truly saw that, maybe you were truly going insane you couldn't tell anymore.
---
You awoke in a cold sweat to your alarm blaring into your ears. You groaned, turning it off. You didn't remember crawling back into bed, was it a nightmare? You shook it off. It was just because of the fear you felt last night, it just made you bring it into your dreams.
You stood up and got ready. You looked awful, but attempted to fix it with some makeup. You wore some more dramatic makeup, especially around the eyes. You wore some eyeliner, smudged it a little and combed your hair. You then applied some lip gloss and grabbed some random clothes from your closet.
You decided to call your boss. You knew it would be better to tell him yourself than someone else. You made it sound less bizarre and brushed it off. You didn't want to lose any shifts if he thought you needed a break.
After attempting to cover the tremble in your breath as you explained the situation, you walked to your car and headed to work. You've been taking longer shifts to earn more money. You would've left earlier yesterday if you could've but apparently that... Thing had to show up.
You stepped out of the car, the harsh winter wind making you shiver. You felt ill as you walked to the door. You had to go in though, you knew there was no other choice.
You took a deep breath and opened the door, you were swapping shifts with one of your coworkers. Your shifts often start from 6pm to 12am. The theatre often closes at 10pm, which then gives you a couple hours to do some cleaning. Sometimes you do have to stay overtime, however, which can be a bit frustrating.
As you stepped inside your coworker greeted you. Another one was working as the cashier, which you also did but in between movies you gave a quick clean to the theatre room. The other coworker leaves at 10pm, which then leaves you alone in the building.
You plopped down next to them at the register, asking how busy it was.
They sighed, scratching the back of their head. "Surprisingly, not many. A lot of people are too scared to come down this way."
"Huh? Why?"
"I'm surprised you don't know. Last night there was another disappearance nearby. The police are on high alert and people are freaking out."
"How'd they figure out they disappeared so quickly? Doesn't it normally take longer?"
"Well... It makes more sense when you know that there were screams at 2am coming from their house."
"I guess so... Sucks knowing I'm gonna be in this creepy place in the middle of the night." You grumbled, leaning back on the chair.
"Better you than me man, I'd rather quit than do that shit."
"Wow so comforting of you, thanks." You rolled your eyes, drawing on a random piece of paper to distract you.
"Yeah yeah, at least I'm being truthful! Honestly it's kinda shitty boss is still telling you to continue your shift.
"Ehh, it's fine. I need the money anyway, so the more hours the better."
"Your time not mine, just keep an eye out."
"Was planning on doing that. Also, do you think boss is going to be more of a tight ass? I hate having to have half the place pitch black while cleaning. Not the safest or efficient way to do it."
"I'm sure more people will come in the next few weeks, let's just hope the next disappearance is further away."
"I can pray, maybe god will damn help me this time." You murmur, tapping the pencil against the desk.
----
Very few people came in, only maybe 20 compared to the normal 100 or more. It meant you had less to clean, so maybe... You'll be able to leave earlier. And won't have to be in this uncomfortable place anymore. You can only pray.
As the shift passed, some people were on edge, but overall seemed fine. One child must've overheard about what happened recently, as they were scared, their eyes wide, they grabbed their mothers arm and attempted to pull them away from this place.
The mother rolled her eyes, saying they were safe since it was daylight.
"Monsters don't come out during the day, darling. You'll be fine. And there's other people here, they'll make sure to protect you." She leans down and pats her daughter on the head. "I promise you'll be okay sweetheart, it's just a movie theatre."
----
As night crept in, you started to slowly dread being there more and more. It started to slowly consume your thoughts, of what could potentially happen if you were left alone once more in this building. You hoped that since there wasn't as many people, you had more of a chance of being able to clean faster. And therefore, be able to leave earlier.
As your coworker left and put the closed sign up, you felt your stomach sink. You were sure that you were fucked. But what else could you do? You had to do your job. You had to do it regardless of what you wanted.
You went to the janitors closet, pulling the strings which turned the light on. It was rather claustrophobic. Dust had built up after what seemed like years of not being cleaned. You grabbed the vacuum and left the closet, and went over towards the front desk. You started there, and moved towards the movie room then upstairs. You were hyper aware of your surroundings, you couldn't help but feel on edge after last night. Every tap on the windows or hum of the electricity made you feel sick.
Once you were done vacuuming, out started to mop the floors. You wanted to listen to music, but you were afraid of not hearing if someone was lurking inside. You wanted to know what was happening around you.
After you did the basics, you sat down for a bit and wondered if you could get away with leaving the theatre like this. It's not like your boss comes in everyday.
You eventually decided to leave the place as is, you didn't feel safe being in there any longer. You instantly grabbed your handbag, but noticed your keys were missing and so was your phone... And wallet.
You felt bile instantly run up your throat. That awful feeling of knowing you were truly at another's mercy started to suffocate you. You panicked, looking under the desk, in the janitor's closet... Nothing. It was nowhere. You attempted to calm yourself down, saying you just misplaced it. That's all you did. There was nothing lurking around the corner watching your every move waiting to pounce and kill you.
You were fine. Just fine.
How the hell was everything missing? There's no way it all fell out when it was closed, and that it's been in the same spot since you got here.
You rushed around the building, searching everywhere for your stupid belongings. And in the middle of the already awful experience, you started to hear tapping on the windows. It was slow and intentional.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
You went over towards it, moving the curtains. Nothing was there, but the bushes did move slowly. Those same, dead eyes pearing at you. That's when you realised everything you've witnessed was real.
Something was after you.
And you had no idea what the fuck it was, it definitely wasn't human. No humans neck twists like that, no human has the void-like holes, where no ounce of light can go through.
It slowly crept out of the bush, it's mangled limbs moving in unnatural, inhuman positions as it came towards the window.
It has already came in before, why the fuck was it trying to come in again? It could come in before, what now? Was there more than one? What did it want? Did it just get off on scaring you?
You stepped back, feeling like how you did the night before.
"No... No no. No." You murmured, grabbing the phone that hung on the wall. You attempted to dial the emergency services, but the lines were down. You shook your head, you had to have something to defend yourself from that... Thing. All these awful thoughts came into your mind. Of what it could do, of what it wanted.... And what it's true form was.
You heard popping sounds from the other side of the window.
"Can... You help me?"
Those distorted voices sent a shiver down your spine. That unnatural, disgusting sound.
You slowly glanced over your shoulder at the monster. It had the most awful, disgusting grin which showed all its teeth. It's disfigured head and body contorted as it started to tap on the window again.
"I... Need your... Help."
It said as it cocked its head.
"I am... Scared." It's mouth twitched wider. Both it's hands were placed on the window. Its face squished against it.
"I'm so scared."
If the situation wasn't serious, you would've laughed at the irony.
"Stay away from me!"
You yelled, grabbing a pair of scissors from the drawer. You pointed it towards the creature, even though you knew it was futile.
"Stay away from me!"
It mimicked, the dread which formed was sickening. It... Said the same thing. The two voices at once made it even more horrifying. The distorted sound triggered you more. It said things which were already unnerving, but it mimicked you in your tone, just slightly distorted was utterly mortifying. The fear you felt that night here and at home could never compare to this.
You decided that you had to get far away from this thing. You couldn't sit there forever, even another second was enough to make you want to crawl into a hole and rot. A being like that shouldn't exist.
You ran up the stairs, you felt it's... Sockets following your figure, analysing every movement. You went into the bathrooms and slammed the door shut. You locked the door, then moved over to the window. You glanced outside, and saw that it was clear.
You heard fast, but light footsteps coming from outside. You knew it was toying with you. You knew it enjoyed the chase and it made you feel sick.
The tapping continued once more, but this time at the bathroom door.
"I'm scared... Why won't you help me?"
"What do you want from me?!" You screamed back, tears welling up in your eyes as you stared at the door.
"I'm stuck."
The more you listened to it, the more its voice sounded normal and close to human. You rapidly shook your had, murmuring to yourself.
"No, no this isn't happening."
It sounded so normal, its panic was so evident and felt real. Earlier it didn't, what was going on?!
You felt dizzy, your vision started to become slightly blurry. You collapsed onto the ground, in front of one of the bathroom stalls.. Your head thumped, the pain made you groan. You knew you had to get out, that's the only thing you could do. You weren't sure what was going on anymore. You had to get out.
You slowly stood up, holding onto the edge of the stall. You moved towards the window, contemplating how you were going to get down. There were bushes underneath, but you knew you were screwed if you landed wrong. There were no other options unless you wanted to face that thing. You slowly opened the window, attempting to be quiet just in case the... Thing will hear. To your relief it made no noise. You slowly placed your legs over, holding onto the edge tightly. You took a deep breath then pushed yourself off.
You groaned as your body hit the floor hard, causing pain to radiate through you. you groaned, knowing your body was going to be covered in bruises. You hissed as you slowly sat up. You brushed the twigs off of your shirt, then used the brick wall to attempt to help yourself up. You moved around the outside of the building, attempting to be quiet.
You knew you couldn't use your car, you had no idea how to hotwire it. The only option you had was to walk home, well, better run.
You started to sprint away, ignoring every aching muscle and joint. You gritted your teeth as you forced your legs to move. You occasionally glanced over your shoulder, and to your relief, saw nothing there. You started to slow down when you felt safer since you were further away from that thing.
You leaned over, placing your hands on your knees as you took deep breaths. You felt dizzy, but knew you had to get home. After a minute, you started to walk again. As you walked down the street, occasionally you spotted cars driving by or the really odd person or two walking by. You always held the scissors tight, regardless of how much it dug into your skin.
Eventually, you got to your home. You searched your pockets for your keys, then remembered you lost them at the theatre. You hoped that thing wouldn't find them. You went to the backyard and grabbed them from under one of the pots. You unlocked the door, then went inside.
You placed some chairs behind the front and back door under the handle. You then slipped the latch so unlocking wouldn't work. You made sure you did everything you could to prevent the thing from coming inside.
You felt relieved once you glanced around knowing that you were safe.
So you could finally have a good sleep, you went to have a warm shower. You washed away all the dirt from your skin, watching as the dirt slowly went down the drain. You sat in the warmth, soaking up the comfort from it for as long as you can. You sat in the shower for a while till the hot water ran out, forcing you to go back into the cold. Reminding you of the bitter reality you'll have to face eventually.
You got dressed then went to the kitchen, grabbing a knife from the utensil drawer. You tapped the point, dragging your finger across the blade. You wanted to make sure it'd actually be useful if you needed to defend yourself.
You locked your bedroom door, making sure the latch would be strong enough to keep anything out. The hairs on your skin were constantly standing. Every shadow and movement puts you on edge. Your own home didn't make you feel safe, only the slightest bit safer than if you were to be outside.
You walked over to your bedside drawer, then placed the knife on top of it.. You left the lamp which sat beside you on. You pulled open one of the draws and grabbed one of your old alarms since your phone was lost.
You haven't used it for so long it took a while to figure it out. Once you set it, you laid down in bed. You stared at the ceiling, getting dragged into your thoughts. You occasionally focused on shadows that danced on your walls, wondering if one of them will ever be the creature which tortured your emotions hours before.

Yandere!Trapper x reader who self harms
Tumblr media
Note: Aware it's not cannon, just for comfort
Also mostly written in 2022, so it's awful. I added new parts to it and attempted to make it better. This was again made for my own comfort so don't be a dick.
----
After taking you into his "care" He finds out quite quickly. He understands the signs, after all, he's done it himself. The stress his father put him through daily caused him to break. And whenever that did occur, he resulted in self-destructive behaviours.
Evan never had anyone to talk to who would understand. All the workers were underpaid and believed he was apart of the problem. Evan attempted to explain the problems to his father, although he would never listen regardless of how many times he pointed out the flaws of the business, and how it was literally killing the people. He even saw his own mother murdered in front of him, by the man which was his father. He was all alone, trying to find a way to cope with the intense pressure to become like his father and take over the business.
Once the stress consumed him, he lashed out and attacked his father, watching as the man bled out with satisfaction. Seeing you, someone who could relate to him, it made him feel understood. Even though he knew he wasn't mean to see them, especially in such circumstances. It made him soft and feel comforted... and in a way he hated it. Evan either discovered it while kidnapping you, or one time while chasing you around during a trial. Either way, he would do whatever he can to make sure you're safe. Evan wouldn't become obsessed over you just because you've hurt yourself, but it would definitely cause a soft spot to form as he can relate to you.
If Evan discovered that you self harm after you've been taken, he would keep everything sharp away from you. If you had any fresh wounds, he would make sure to clean and bandage them. You wouldn't be allowed to do anything on your own, he would always have to be there. Evan would be gentle and affectionate, doing what he can to make you happy, to try and comfort you and help you mentally with what your struggling with.
Since he can relate to what you're going through, he'll do his best to not be too controlling, and make his "home" as comfortable as it could be. Evan can't do too much since he's under the entity's control, but he'll still do his best and try to bargain with it. He hated the work he had to do so the entity wouldn't torture him once more, so often you would see him with his own new wounds, however they healed within the hour. Evan did try and hide it, but sometimes they would be visible.
If you were empathetic towards him, and didn't despise him for what he's done, he'd be the kindest man he could be. Although at times he got frustrated and yelled, he'd always apologise within the hour. Even if you tried to escape, he'd never lay a hand on you. He'd try and take you back without hurting you, but he could be rough since he doesn't want you to leave him... The one person who understood him.
If you were to eventually accept your new life, he'd be the most affectionate man. He's been through hell, seen hell in its truest form... All he wants is some sort of happiness in his life. Evan genuinely believes you'll love him one day, that you're just getting over the shock of being in the entities realm, and now taken by one of the creatures of which is meant to hurt you. But he never will. He never wanted to do this. You're the only thing he looks forward to, he doesn't want to lose the last pieces of his sanity.

Love your writing so much! I was just having an idea atm, so I hope it’s fine requesting stuff
Reading the Yandere Springtrap series (which I really enjoy ♥️🙏), reader asked if he’s a person in one part.
What if reader wanted to open his face in curiosity tho? What would he do and if he DID open his face, would he sometimes scare reader?
Ooo I like this idea, thanks! I'll just turn this into the next chapter. I changed it a bit, and used it only as a way to scare her.
This hasn't been proof read, so it might not be the best. Anyway, enjoy the year late chapter. Also sorry it's not super long.
The new nightguard Chapter 10 (Yandere Springtrap x f!reader)
--------
The familiar footsteps was heard from behind the door. The sound of metal hitting the old, wooden stairs. A sense of dread often fell on you whenever you heard it. Maybe it was just as a result of him being the only person you've seen over the past.... how long? You couldn't keep track of time down there. No windows, no clocks, not even a damn calender. It was boring, the same old thing over and over again. You craved for something different, whether it be something small or dramatic.
The sounds of keys jingling alerted you from your thoughts, and a few seconds later, he appeared into the room once again. He brought some gifts into the room, like some new clothes he got from... some victims.
"Here, this should make you feel a bit better. I... I'm starting to understand how you feel now." He says, glancing at reader. Y/n noticed how his eyes You aren't just something I can use, and... I'm sorry."
Y/n sat their on the mattress stunned, what makes him think you'd forgive him over something so horrid? What he said about your family, what he'd do to them. You knew you were still falling down the hole, the hole of Stockholm syndrome. But regardless of how much you tried to push it aside, those feelings never fully left. You were afraid of them clouding your ability to see him for what he truly is.
"We had such a nice day yesterday, but you had to fucking ruin it! I was starting to like you, but in the end, I'll always see what you're fucking like. I couldn't care less about what you give me. You disgust me. You're a fucking monster, you truly are rotten inside and out. You deserve all the hell which you've been through you sick fuck!"
You snapped, every single thought, emotion you've experienced spilled out. You couldn't hold it in, you realised it was too late when you saw him rush towards you. He gripped you by the neck, throwing you against the wall. Pain radiated all throughout your skull, putting you in absolute agony. You cried out, afraid of what he'd do. That horrific, scary suit, the rotten meat that clung to the metal skeleton making you realise further what is in front of you. You now had a good look at him, how he truly was once a human. How did a person become this? Something which was flesh and blood, had emotions and memories, close relationships, was a fucking corpse in a suit. You wanted to know what was underneath, but you had a feeling you'd regret it.
He put pressure on your neck, you knew it was going to bruise. You felt his hands slowly put more and more pressure on your neck, making it more difficult for you to breathe. You kicked at him, but you knew it was no use as he was much taller and heavier than you. After all, he's made of metal, you never had a chance.
As your vision became blurry, you started to accept your fate. Freedom, finally. What's the point in living if you're going to be surrounded by the same four walls? You let your hands drop from his, there was no point in fighting back. He looked at your face, realising what he was doing. The defeated look scared him. Springtrap didn't like that look on you at all. It didn't fit you, it felt wrong seeing you in a position like this. Although he wanted to tear you apart, he knew that he'd regret it. Springtrap let you fall to the floor.
In a way, he wanted to let you down gently, but he was still frustrated and upset with what you had said.
"Doll... we had a discussion yesterday. You should know better."
Y/n struggling to catch her breath, coughing repeatedly, her hands touching her neck. He had slightly cut her neck from the wires which were peaking from his hands.
"Darling?" Springtrap said, looking at her bloody hands. He felt panicked, "Darling!" He wrapped his arms around her, "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have hurt you. I love you so much, I'm so sorry! I didn't think." His voice was full of panic.
Springtrap stood up and walked to the bathroom, grabbing some medical supplies. He went back over to Y/n, seeing her still panting, not moving from shock. He knelt down, and opened the small metal box. He pulled out some disinfectant, then poured it onto a cotton ball. He then slowly patted it over her cuts. Y/n didn't wince from the pain, only staring into the distance. Springtrap then but a bandage over it, making sure that it won't come off.
Springtrap then held Y/n, knowing he absolutely fucked up and wasn't sure how to fix the mess he created. Y/n and Springtrap stayed together for an hour, y/n still not wanting to look at him at all. He disgusted them.
Springtrap started to become frustrated with how Y/n barely moved, didn't say a word. Their eyes were so empty, it angered him. Nothing he did satisfied them. They never responded, they just stared. It couldn't have been that bad, right? He's done worse before, why can't they just move on? He provided everything for them, he protected them from the outside world, gave them expensive gifts and love.
"Y/n?" He shook them
"Y/n, you've been silent for a while now."
"Y/n for fuck sake answer me!" He said making them face him. Even though he raised his voice, Y/n just turned away. Springtrap tried his hardest to not hurt them again, knowing it'd make things worse. He wanted to hit her, he really did. But he loved her. He wanted her to love him back.
"Please, just respond to me! I'm fucking sorry."
Y/n turned away, just not caring anymore. All the truly wanted was to die, to simply get away from here. Nothing provided them joy. They just felt.... so empty. They couldn't care less what happened anymore.
They just wanted it all to end.
"Y/n, you'll regret this. I'll fucking hurt them."
Y/n gave Springtrap an unamused glance, the thought hurt them, but in the end, they just couldn't do this anymore.
"Do you want to go for a walk? Yesterday was nice, wasn't it?"
He nudged Y/n, but when he didn't get a response, he got up and walked towards the door.
"Fucking last chance Y/n, you'll either fucking love me, or I'll kill your family. I'm not doing this with you. I'm not going to play your pathetic game."
Y/n just gave him a sad look and turned away, staring at the concrete walls.
Springtrap sighed at the response, then opened the door and walked out. He knew she'd hate him, but he tried so much. It didn't go anywhere.
----
Springtrap did some research, with the application for applying to the job, he found her address. It was so painfully easy. The shitty company had no protection for the individuals who applied to the job. At least no one would have any use for this anymore, besides Springtrap. Y/n was simply someone who used to be. People probably think she's dead. He wondered if they connected the dots yet. The workers knew he lived in the abandoned pizzeria. It'd be amusing if they hadn't. It was difficult to find the place while staying undercover, making sure people didn't spot him. It was late at night and dark, so it was unlikely. It was also pouring down with rain and thunder.
Eventually, he found the place. There was a crappy car at the front, the paint was peeling off and dirty. The overall house looked fine at the front of the place. The grass was kept mown, and the building looked newish, probably built in the past 5 years.
Springtrap attempted the front door, and it wouldn't budge. He then walked around towards the back, and tried with the door. He knew he'd have to pick the lock, causing him to sigh. He hoped it wouldn't wake them up, otherwise it would make things much more difficult and irritating. He had no doubt he could take them down, it would just be leaving the area which would be a nightmare if the police became aware.
Eventually, it unlocked, and the door opened with ease and little noise. Springtrap looked around the bottom floor, a few cans of beer was on the floor. He guessed the family was struggling. There were a few bottles on one of the shelves in the dining room. Some seemed to be half empty or less.
He started to walk up the stairs, hoping that he wouldn't have to deal with any creaking. Unfortunately, because of the suit, it did creak underneath him. However, there was loud snoring which seemed as though it helped to cover the noise, so as the crackling thunder.
Once he found the room, he looked over at Y/n's parents. "So you're the peoples she's so desperate for, huh?" He murmured under his breath, knowing it wouldn't wake either of them. Springtrap moved over towards the bed. He pulled out his knife, then plunged it into the fathers chest. The mother seemed to instantly wake up, but Springtrap held her down, slicing her throat. The father attempted to hit Springtrap, but that wouldn't do anything to him. He was much larger and stronger than the man next to him. Springtrap raised the knife, enjoying the fear and pain in the mans eyes. He stabbed the man in the head, ending the mans suffering.
Springtrap stood up, relieved that they didn't make much noise. It was beneficial having a thunderstorm occur at the same time, as it made this much quicker and less difficult.
He cut the heads off both of them, which was rather difficult with the knife he was using as it wasn't as sharp as he would've liked. He took note on doing that later.
He put them both in one of the plastic bags which were on the floor. He could hardly wait to get his darlings attention again. She'd be traumatised for a while, but thankfully she'd eventually fall for him, and be grateful for what he's done for her.
Springtrap walked down the street, the blood washing away from his suit. It was rather dirty, but he couldn't often do much about it. He knew he'd have to fix it up some day. If he was going to be stuck in this hell for the rest of eternity, might as well make it a tad bit more comfortable and appealing.
It took a while to get back to the house as it was rather far away. Once he arrived, he opened the door and stepped in. He had a thought of possibly cleaning the place later, maybe he could bring up Y/n. They might be able to live a bit happier. She had nothing to cling onto anymore, any hope of leaving this place. He might do some more research later into possibly any other family that may be alive. He'd take care of them too if there were to be. Springtrap opened the basement door and stepped inside.
Y/n glanced over at him, noticing tiny specs of blood. Most of it was gone, but there still were small stains. Y/n remembered what he said yesterday, panic instantly settled in.
"What did you do?!"
Springtrap smirked, "Oh darling, don't you remember what I said yesterday?"
"No...." Y/n mumbled, tears welling up in her eyes. "You didn't...."
Springtrap laughed, then dropped the bag. Both of the heads rolled out. Y/n instantly moved back against the wall, a loud scream escaping from her.
"NO! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?!"
He grabbed her by the chin, she tried to turn her head away, but he pressed harder, forcing her to look at him.
"You have nothing left but me. You have to love me now. There's nothing left out there for you! Besides me!" Springtrap wrapped his arms around her. "Its just you and me now. If there's anyone else I'll find them. I will make sure you have no reason to leave this place. If you try to, I'll break your legs once again, I will make you so disgusting no one could ever be attracted to you besides me. You'll only be loved by me. I'll be the only one capable of loving someone like you."
Y/n cried hysterically, she didn't want this anymore. She couldn't do this. She couldn't live with herself. What could she even do? She truly felt as though there was no reason to live.
"Just fucking kill me, please. I don't want to do this anymore! Just do it already!" Y/n screamed, pathetically hitting him.
"Doll, that's not going to happen. Isn't it obvious? I love you so much. I'm risking myself everyday getting you new gifts to make you happier. I give you all the attention you need. You don't want to die! Why would you? Is none of this fucking good enough for you?" Springtrap raised his voice, hitting the wall right next to her head. Bits of concrete fell off onto the mattress.
Y/n didn't feel afraid, she wanted this. "You think any of this would make me happy? You ruined my life! You took everything for me! Do it, you freak, fucking do it already!"
Springtrap gritted his teeth, knowing what Y/n was trying to do. He sighed, sitting down next to her. "Oh darling, I won't let you get to me."
----
Springtrap kept attempting to get attention from Y/n. He wanted to spend time with her, but kept getting shut down which was making him frustrated.
"Do you want to go outside with me?
Y/n looked away, rolling her eyes.
"No."
"Want to watch a movie?"
"Fuck off."
Springtrap grabbed her wrist roughly, dragging her up. "You're going to fucking spend time with me. Got it?"
"Fuck no, why would I want to spend time with something like you. You're a fucking monster."
"You think I'm a fucking monster huh? I'll fucking show you how much of a monster i am." Springtrap pulled off his mask, showing the rotting face beneath it.
"Oh my god-"
"I'll fucking make you like me. I'll fucking force you to suffer like I have. You won't ever escape me then. You won't have a choice anymore, you'll be constantly under my control. What's your choice, hmm? Love me willingly, or I'll force you to."

Can i maybe have headcannons about michael afton’s darling hugging michael because michael started crying about how darling is scared around him? (bonus points if he starts crying more and doesn’t let darling go for hours unless absolutely necessary) crybaby yanderes are just so cute lol. thank you so much for reading this request!!!! have a good day/night
What was he doing wrong? He never laid a hand on you or abused you in any way. Why? Why? What did he do to make you so afraid?
He always worked extra shifts, constantly straining himself to do anything to make you more at ease. He bought you gifts, trying to make the room comfier for you. But his efforts always fell useless, as you always were afraid, shaking whenever he came close.
When he was a child, he was constantly compared to his siblings No one ever treated him as an equal after the incident. It was always brought up, nothing he ever did was good enough after that. His father rarely looked him in the eyes, if he ever did, it was always full of disgust, shame, and repulsion.
When he arrived home that day and saw you on the bed, curled up, crying. He went to try to comfort you, but once you heard his footsteps you instantly tensed up and started to cry even harder.
The tears slowly welled up in his eyes, the feeling of disappointment and self-hatred became overwhelming. Hearing the man who took you away from your family and friends sobbing shocked you. Why was he crying? What did you do?
"I-I'm so sorry... I don't know what I'm doing wrong but... I'm sorry. I'm trying to do my best to keep you safe, to make you happy." He cried in between sobs, shaking as his hands covered his face. He collapsed against the door, hands running through his hair.
"I never meant to scare you or hurt you in any way, please, forgive me."
You were stunned, feeling unsure of what to do. Should you approach him? What if he was trying to manipulate you? What if he was trying to let your guard down? So many questions ran through your mind. You were so confused, he was your kidnapper, why was he acting so vulnerable?
Although you despised the feeling, you pitied him. You found it difficult to be there, but you did recognise his attempts to make this situation easier for you. Slowly you stood up from the bed, your legs wobbling as you walked toward him. Every step you took the more you felt sick. Your stomach churned, wondering if this was the right decision. But, as you stood in front of him, you realised there was no point in turning back.
You crouched down and wrapped your arms around him. His hands lowered from his face as he stared through his tears. He was confused as to why you were so close, why you decided to touch him. He has wanted you to approach him, for you to not fear him. He's been craving affection for so long as he hasn't received it in years.
He basically melted under your touch. He wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you onto his lap as he leaned his head on your shoulder. "You're so perfect Darling, I've loved you for years. I've been hoping you'd one day feel the same way I feel." He mumbled as he played with the locks of your hair. It was oddly comforting for you, maybe things weren't as bad as you thought they were.
The both of you sat there for at least an hour, till the both of you finally calmed down. He eventually carried you onto the bed, sliding underneath the sheets with you. He pulled you close to him, which you didn't mind. His warmth was comforting, you preferred his company more than being alone.
As time passed, it became difficult to keep your eyes open, you yawned as you snuggled closer to him. He smiled, feeling a sense of happiness, something he hasn't felt in so long.

UGH I literally love Michael and after reading your yandere hcs for him I'm like, dead (//∇//). When you have the time could you write a one shot based around your hcs? Maybe reader starts warming up to his touch or Michael has just had a rough day and starts cuddling reader regardless of wether they like it or not? Tysm!!
Yandere Michael Afton Oneshot - Bad day at work
-------------
Oof, sorry for taking so long to do this. I hope you'll enjoy it :)
>3k words
------------
TW: Assault, yandere behaviours, mention of abuse.
Michael always missed you while he was at work, he missed your company, your attention. Even if it was a few sentences filled with curse words, you screaming at how much you hated him. It was a start, and he knew eventually you’ll calm down. Stockholm syndrome would kick in eventually, and then the both of you could finally live happily. He knew it was wrong, but the idea of having you all to himself was like a dream. One which became reality.
He heard the ding of a notification, which pulled him out of his train of thoughts. He glanced around, remembering what he was supposed to be doing. He was stuck in his office, all alone, the chattering of others in the next room bothering him. He hated his job so much, that the people he, unfortunately, was forced to work with were driving him mad. They all blabbered on about random, useless things that didn’t interest him. It was a shame that he couldn’t stay with you all the time, you were one of the few things that didn’t bore him. He missed your warmth, the comfort you unintentionally provided. All he ever thought of was you, he could barely pay attention to anything else around him. Whenever his coworkers came by he had to plaster on a fake smile, with a cheery demeanour which wasn’t him at all. Sometimes it felt as if he were on autopilot, it was like he wasn’t really alive, just watching someone else's life.
They all were so similar, same response, same personality…
They all reminded him of his father, they repulsed him. That man really did love to change others. He was like a disease, influencing everyone around him. The animatronics were everywhere, plushies, advertisements, fucking posters. It’s like wherever he went, that hell followed him. Taunting him, mocking him about what happened all those years ago-
He remembered every detail, down to the shirt his brother wore, the blood which spurted all over the animatronic and himself. He saw parts of his brother he wasn’t meant to see. The sickening metallic smell has lingered for years, he can never seem to wash it out of his clothes or off his skin. His breathing became rigid, he picked the pencil up and moved it between his fingers, flicking up and down. He needed to move, he wanted to scream, but he bit his tongue. He couldn’t risk shattering the image which took so long to build. The sounds of everyone talking, the ringing sound in his ears getting louder, almost excruciating. He wanted them to all just fucking leave so he could breathe, it felt as if everything was closing in on him. He heard everything all at once, to some cars alarm going off, a coworkers pencil dropping onto the desk, even someone just sighing. He felt as if he was about to be pushed over the edge.
As soon as the clock hand hit 3, he instantly got up from his seat, grabbing his stuff and throwing into his bag. After making sure he didn’t forget anything, he calmed himself down, reassuring himself that he just has to do one more thing. He went over to his coworkers, plastered a smile onto his face and said goodbye. They tried to make small talk, asking what his plans were and other things they truly weren’t interested in, but felt the need to discuss. He told them he was unfortunately in a hurry, that he had some important business to attend to. It wasn’t really a lie, as he was waiting to see you, however they didn’t need to know that. They fell for it easily, just like they always do. They gave him small smiles, saying they’d see him tomorrow.
He hurriedly left the office building, not caring if people looked at him funny. After all, there’s many excuses he could spew out later on if he needed to do so. The parking lot was filled with cars, yet very few people littered the parking lot. He was thankful, the last thing he needed was a coworker to walk up to him, blabber on about how their wife was being annoying or feigning interest in his own life. He grabbed his keys from his pockets and unlocked his car, throwing his stuff inside. He sighed in annoyance as he realised everything tipped out, spilling all over the back of the car. He slammed the door, throwing his hands in the air with defeat while muttering a few cuss words. He went into the front seat and started the car. He gritted his teeth, clenched his hands, digging his nails into his palms. Taking a deep breath, he told himself that he will get to see you soon. One day he’d be able to quite his shit job and finally be able to leave everything behind him. On the drive home, he wondered what you were doing. He brought a lot of gifts home the other day, so he hoped you were enjoying them. He spent a lot of his money on them, and he made sure they were things you’d like. Hopefully one day you’d love him the way he did you. Regardless of how long it’d take, he’d do everything to finally get you to feel the same.
After a few minutes, he pulled into the driveway and stopped the car. He hurriedly got out, grabbing his bag and then locking it. He felt his heart racing from excitement as he went inside, basically running down the hall to the bedroom. He felt a little guilty for leaving you locked up in that room, but he couldn’t risk you escaping. He kept telling himself it was for the better, that other people would try to take you away from him otherwise.
He picked another set of keys from his pocket, one custom made specifically for this lock. This one, in particular, would be incredibly difficult to break into, he made sure while making it that it could only be opened by specific tools or the key he had on him nearly at all times. All of the things he did were thoroughly thought over, he went over many possibilities, making sure all things which could get in between the both of you would be eliminated. He’s done many things that others would find horrifying, but it didn’t matter, none of their opinions did to him besides yours. Although he hated thinking of his father, that man did teach him many things that were now of use to him.
He shoved it into the lock, turned it, then pushed the door open. He saw you laying on the bed, cuddling one of the pillows. You were sleeping peacefully, it was good the cuffs which bound your wrists together weren’t affecting you too much. He tried to make them as comfortable as he could while still making it so you couldn’t just wiggle your way out of them. He sighed in relief, knowing that you were perfectly safe and okay. Everything he’s done worked, he finally wouldn’t have to stress as much over things failing.
He quietly closed the door behind him, glancing around the room. Everything was the same as when he left, nothing was broken by one of yours attempts of escaping. He went over to the bed and sat down, taking his work boots off, placing them onto the floorboards. He slipped under the sheets, wrapping his arms around you gently. You slightly stirred, your eyes slowly fluttered open. A yawn escaped from you, confused and dazed from being woken from your deep sleep.
“Oh honey, I missed you so much…” Michael said, tucking a loose piece of hair behind your ear. His touch lingered on your face, the sensation felt so intimate, that it made your stomach flip. You were still tired, you just wanted to be left alone. He always had to bother you in some way. But you didn't say anything, he knew how you felt and wouldn't stop. He was selfish and didn’t care about whether you wanted it or not.
His face soured, of course, you still didn't like his affection. Why couldn’t he just have this one thing in his life? He gritted his teeth, “Fine, would it make you happier if I removed the cuffs?”
You nodded your head, to which he then grabbed your hands roughly, shoving the key into the cuffs lock. The cuffs opened up, falling off your wrists. “Thanks.” You mumbled out, crossing your arms, finally being able to move a bit more freely.
He hated seeing you so miserable, and he knew you missed your old life. It would be difficult for something so drastic to happen in such a short period of time. But, he also hoped that after a couple months this place would be like your new home. But, unfortunately that wasn’t the case. So, he decided to take you out to the lounge room. You were a bit reluctant, but knew you didn’t have a choice. The both of you plopped down onto the couch, him pulling you close to him, wrapping an arm around your shoulder. He picked up the remote and turned on the TV.
“Do you want to watch something or play some games?” He asked, silently hoping you’d pick video games.
You thought for a few moments then shrugged, “I don’t really mind.”
An excited smile formed onto his face, “Video games it is.”
He said as he stood back up, then went over to the shelf and flipped through the multiple DVDs. After a few minutes he found which he felt like playing, then put it into the console. You watched mildly curious, you hoped it was something that would be at least somewhat interesting. He grabbed the controls and passed one to you. He gave you a cocky smile, trying to rile you up. “You know, I bet I can beat you within seconds. But, I’ll go easy on you, maybe one day you’ll be good enough to surpass me.”
You gave him an annoyed look, then rolled your eyes. You turned the controller on, then waited for the game to load in. Once it did, you realised that this is one of the games you played a long time ago. You don’t remember too much, but it was one you spent nearly all day everyday playing. You pushed away the current situation you were in, pretending that this was like those days you used to play with your friends.
The both of you picked the characters you wanted to play as, then loaded into the world. You smirked at him, all the memories flooding back in. You remembered tons of tricks and ways you could fool him. You pretended he had the upper hand, and feigned disappointment. You found it oddly sweet as he tried to teach you things, he really could be nice at times. As multiple rounds passed, you decided to fight much harder, your streak of winning exceeding his by a landslide. At one point you jokingly poked fun at him, asking if he still thought he was the best.
Eventually, Michael checked the time and realised that the both of you haven’t ate dinner yet, so he decided that the two of you should have a break. You groaned a bit, sad that the fun had to end. But you begrudgingly followed him to the kitchen, asking him what the both of you should cook. He was always a little reluctant when it came to allowing you to cook, but knew you deserved some sort of normalcy and control. He decided that the both of you would cook something simple; burgers.
You chopped and pealed the vegetables while he cooked the meat. He was always fussy when it came to that, he had to do it a certain way to keep in the flavour and whatever else. You never really paid attention when he rambled on about cooking, it got a little bit too complicated for you.
Once it was finished, the both of you sat down at the dining table. You took a bite, surprised at how good it was. You complimented his cooking, saying that he did really well. His eyes lighted up, surprised at how friendly you were being. He said you did good too, that the both of you make a good team. In a way, you agreed. It was nice spending time with him. Though, there’s a question that’s been on your mind for a while…. But you’ve always been too afraid to ask.
“Hey, Michael, I know you hate it when I try and ask things like this. But, I just want to know, why are you so desperate to keep me here? I just don’t understand when we could’ve been together living a normal life, meeting each other’s families, hanging out with friends…” You asked sheepishly, starting at the plate in front of you. You wanted to look at him, to at least have some sort of clue to what he was thinking. But you were too nervous, so you waited for him to finally respond.
“Y/n, I… I really, really, don’t want to talk about this.” He replied, his voice taking a slightly darker tone. “It’s better to not worry about what things could’ve been, it’s quite draining.” He stood up, pushed his chair in and went into the kitchen. You trailed behind him, “But it doesn’t make sense, this would’ve been better for the both of us, we could still live that normal life together.”
He dropped the plate into the sink, turning the tap. “To say in the most simplest way, honey, I have no family or friends. We would’ve never been given the chance to live a normal life together, this is the most easiest of ways I would’ve had you with me forever. No one can take you from me….” His voice had a slightly unhinged edge to it. He was painfully still, he didn’t move a muscle. You went over to him, placing a hand onto his shoulder. “W-what do you mean by that?”
He turned around scarily fast, gripping both of your arms. His expression was unnerving, your heart dropped to your feet. His eyes were wide, a large grin reaching to his cheeks. “Oh honey, you have no idea what I’ve seen, how toxic my family was… If I left you out there in the world, you would’ve been torn to shreds by the monsters who roam it. I know first hand what they’re like, I’ve seen them right before me; the man who raised me.” You tried to escape his grasp, but his grip around your arms tightened, you just knew it was going to bruise.
He chuckled darkly, his tone painfully high pitched, “I know exactly what people can do, and I can’t stand the thought of the happening to you. I know it’s not right, I know it’s unlikely, but… I. Don’t. Care. Do you understand?” Before you could answer, he continued. “I’ve seen things people should never see, I nearly lost my shit at work today, do you seriously think I can hold on much longer? You’re the only thing keeping me sane, I need you, I need you so bad I’d rather die than see you leave. Going to work is stressful, I feel so isolated, alone. The thought of you waiting here at home helps me get through it…” You stood there, staring into deep brown eyes. You didn’t know what to say, what was one supposed to even do in this situation? You never expected him to feel such a way about you.
“M-Michael this is not normal, or healthy-” As you uttered those words, he dug his nails deep into you arms. You yelped and pleaded for him to stop. He either didn't hear you or didn't care. “I thought I made it clear, honey, that doesn’t matter to me. Do you really think a therapist can just throw in a few kind words and fix my fucking dead brother?! Do you think he’d be able to go back in time and stop all the death my father brought along with him? I’m the son of the devil himself, can you even comprehend how fucked up a man can be?” He hissed, “I don’t want you to ever mention this to me again, understood?” He was shaking, and so were you. His was from anger, yours was from fear. You don’t think you’ve ever felt this sort of panic before, the type where you knew if you did one thing wrong, you’d suffer in ways you didn’t want to think of.
You nodded your head, and to this, his grip lightened. He pulled you against his chest, rubbing the back of your head affectionately. You heard him take a deep breath, a sigh escaping from him. After a few moments, he decided to speak. “I’ll do the dishes later, do you feel up to playing some video games again? Or would you rather rest?” He asked calmly, stepping back.
You stuttered, “U-um I think I’ll just go rest for a bit. I’m not feeling well at the moment.”
He nodded, taking you back to the bedroom. He shut the door behind him and guided you towards the bed. You slipped under the sheets, and he did the same. You looked at him, trying to figure out what was going through his mind. He wrapped an arm around you and gave you a small smile. “If you aren’t feeling much better in the morning, I can take a day off if you want. I don’t mind at all.”
You shook your head, “I think I’m just a bit tired, that’s all. I’ll be fine, don’t worry.” You brushed off his concern, hoping he’d leave tomorrow. You don’t want a repeat of today.
“I need a break from work anyway, maybe we can spend more time together. I think it’d be nice actually, I’ll message my boss now.” He said while picking up his phone.
You weren't sure how to feel, a whole day with Michael.

The new nightguard (Yandere Springtrap x f!reader) Part 9
>5.5k words
TW: Physical abuse (?)
Unfortunately in the past few weeks you became attached to Springtrap in a way which you found weird. And because of last night, you wondered if he truly cared about you, or if he was planning to make you attached just so it'd hurt more once he decided he had enough of you. The thought of that happening hurt you, why did what he thinks mean so much to you? The thought of escaping and being free did sound nice, but would he be upset? Wouldn't your family get used to you being gone? He did care more than them, right? He did all of this just so he could have you, so he could keep you safe.
He did love you, right?
He wouldn't leave you like everyone else… Would he?
As your dream came to an end, you started to become more aware of your surroundings. Although your mind was foggy, you recognised the feeling of something wrapped around you. Your eyes fluttered open, and you noticed a figure lying beside you, one of his arms hanging over your waist. After a few moments, your vision started to become clearer as your eyes adjusted to the dim light; you noticed Springtrap was awake. His silver eyes half-closed, you wondered if he slept at all last night. A yawn escaped you, and you snuggled closer. It was nice having some affection after being isolated for so long.
That's when a thought came to you, was it Stockholm syndrome? You've heard of it a while ago, how a victim who's suffered from severe trauma, like where they're a captive or is in an abusive situation start to fall for their abuser. The thought of that made you feel ill, were you truly falling for this monster?
"Good morning, darling," He said as he caressed your arm, staring lovingly at you. "Are you feeling alright from last night?"
You stayed silent for a few seconds, were you okay? It was such a stupid thing to ask yourself, you should know after all. But... your emotions were truly a mess. After everything that has happened, you weren't sure how you should feel, or what you should even do. The fear of him being angry and hurting you was still always hanging over you. In a way, you wondered if that fear will ever fade. Did he want you to lie and pretend everything was fine? Did he want a truthful answer so he could help?
"I.... don't know." You murmured out, your voice still croaky from the night before.
He nodded, that was to be expected. Though in a way he was hoping you would've put the night behind you. But that was just wishful thinking, that would've been incredibly unlikely. The human mind is incredibly fragile, he knows that quite well. After murdering dozens of people, watching the people he loved tear each other apart, it was no surprise he knew how to manipulate others and mould them to do as he pleased... In a sense, he wanted to do the same to you, but he adores you the way you are. He loves every flaw, everything you hate he loves. He used to be so picky, wanting the perfect wife, the perfect children. But since he met you, he feels different. You may not be the most amazing human being on Earth, but he wouldn't trade or change you for anything.
"Hmm, I suppose I understand." He responded, pulling you closer to him. He felt guilty, he wanted to make it up to you. He doesn't want you to hate him more than you already do. "Darling, how can I cheer you up? I know you've been quite stressed out about everything, so I'd like to help you cope better at least."
It was a little surprising hearing him say those words. Although he said it a few times last night, it still felt like it wasn't real in a sense. He broke your leg, kidnapped you and threw you into a filthy basement, and he says he now loves you? In a way, you weren't sure if you'd ever believe him. This was wrong and abusive, yet the thought of running away sounds more unrealistic and wrong as the days slip by... But, that doesn't mean you don't want to go outside. You would break out if it meant you could get some fresh air instead of the same humid, dusty air you breathe every day. That doesn't mean you want to leave him, you'd come back. It's become so normal living here. Even if it'd make him mad asking to be let out for a few minutes, you had to ask.
"I..... I want to go outside." You sputtered out. Springtrap sent you an annoyed glare, wondering why you'd ask such a stupid thing.
"Darling, you know I can't allow that-"
You interrupted him, "I know, but please hear me out. Just for a few minutes even, I need to get out and experience the real world again. I'm sick of being suffocated in here, that's what's been causing me so much stress. I promise I won't leave, you can tie my hands behind my back for all I care. I just want to feel normal again, I'm sick of feeling like a caged animal. Please, I'll do whatever you want." You begged, placing your hands on his shoulders.
He went silent for a few moments, looking away, thinking over what you said.
"I understand it's difficult for you, however, it's-"
"Come on, I need it right now, that's all I want from you. Even just for 5 minutes, I'll be happy."
He shook his head, "Darling, I don't want to hear you ask this again. You know I don't want to risk you leaving, it's not safe out there."
As if a switch flipped, a rush of anger suddenly washed over you. How dare he? He was the one who put you in danger on multiple occasions. He owed you this one thing. "No, Springtrap, it's obvious you don't care. If you did you wouldn't have thrown me in this shithole for so long with the bare fucking minimum. I have sores on my back from the springs digging into me as I tried to sleep, I still have problems with my leg as it still hurts to walk at times. It's probably permanently damaged. And on top of that, you fucking threaten to hurt me if I leave. This is bullshit, and you know it. I ask for one fucking thing from you, but your selfish ass fucking denies it." You spat, sending him a venomous glare.
After those words escaped you, the room fell deathly silent. It was different to the normal silence which accompanied you while you were alone. You could feel the tension in the air, a feeling of dread slowly building up. Oh god, what if you angered him so much that he hurts you again? What if he finally finishes you off?! Bile rose in your throat, and the acidic, bitter taste filled your mouth. Your heart started to race, feeling as if it was about to escape your chest. Slowly, your hands start to shake, you wanted it to stop but you couldn't. You glanced upwards at Springtrap, your whole body became tense as you felt his weight shift on the mattress, and start to move towards you. You moved backwards, falling off the mattress onto the filthy concrete floor.
"Darling, come here." He muttered, the sense of dread intensifying. "Now."
You wanted to stay far away, but you knew if you didn't do as he said he'd punish you. It wasn't like you could escape the room without him. Slowly, you inched closer towards him, your shaking increasing heavily.
His arms reached out and pulled you in front of him, his rough fingers wrapping around your face, digging deep into your skin. "Don't do that, again." He hissed, "I know what I've done is wrong, but I'm trying to make up for it. Next time, think before you speak, darling. Your words have consequences, I might just take back that offer and make you suffer more."
Your eyes widened, and a deep sense of betrayal hit you.
"You- you monster. You fucking lying piece of shit!" You screamed, "You owe something, you fucking ripped me to pieces emotionally, was me not falling apart in front of you enough?!"
"Last warning, I really, really don't want to have to punish you, especially after last night. I don't enjoy hurting you, but if I have to I will." He replied, loosening his grip, pushing you back. Fresh, warm tears started to well up in your eyes, then slowly fell down your puffy cheeks.
You shakily stood up, trying to not fall back down. You made your way to the bathroom, sending Springtrap one last glare. He was nothing to you, all he has ever caused you was pain. You slammed the door hard, locking it straight after. You went over towards the shower, turning the taps, waiting for the water to heat up. Once it reached your desired temperature, you slipped off your clothes and threw them across the room. You stepped in, and the warm, almost hot water hit your cold skin. You sighed, sliding against the wall onto the cold stained tiles. You wrapped your arms around your bruised legs, which were tender to touch, making you wince. The water was soothing, helping to calm your anxiety and the intense amount of stress you were experiencing. As the minutes slipped by, you got lost in your thoughts. It was better that way, you thought. It's better than having to face the monster in the next room. You got lost in your old enjoyable memories, then started fantasising about a better reality. A place where you weren’t here, where you found a better job that didn’t treat you as if you were nothing. Eventually, a loud knock ripped you out of your thoughts which previously comforted you.
"You've been in there for nearly an hour, come out." He hated it when you were away from him for too long, it has gotten to the point he needed you around him.
You gulped, hugging your legs tighter. You didn't want to get out, you didn't want to face him.
"You've been misbehaving a lot lately, please listen to me. I feel.... terrible for what I did to you, but I'm trying to do what I can to make everything easier on you." He said sincerely, a hint of guilt in his tone.
You reluctantly turned the taps off, instantly missing the warmth. The cold, bitter air hitting you hard. It was freezing, Goosebumps forming on your skin. Regardless, you grabbed the towel which was hung on the wall. You dried yourself off, then slipped on clean clothes. You opened the door, seeing Springtrap leaning against the wall. "Good girl." He mumbled, which made you feel slightly disgusted. "Feeling better now?" He asked, pulling you close to him. You went to push away, but he just held you tighter, to the point his grip started to hurt. A sigh escaped from him, why were you so eager to get away from his touch? He thought you were warming up to him.
After a few moments he stepped back, "I thought about what you said, and although I despise the idea, I will allow you this one time to step outside. However, I want something in return."
Your eyes lit up at what he said, a spark of joy radiating through you. You'll finally get some fresh air, and after months you’ll be able to feel the grass beneath your feet. You reminisced over some of the memories you had while being outside, though you knew there'd be a downside. There always is with him. You glanced down at the bracelet which hung around your wrist. It was gorgeous, it truly was. But where did he even get it from? There’s no way he could’ve just walked into a jewellery store and bought it- You shook your head, it’s better to not think too deeply about it.
"I'll do anything, I swear!"
A smile crept onto his face, which made you feel slightly unnerved.
"It's quite simple, just treat me as if I were any other person who was in your previous life. Don't shy away from my touch, don't call me horrid names. I want to be treated with basic respect, not as if I were the so-called "monster" you believe me to be. Do we have a deal, darling?"
You gritted your teeth, and the excitement you previously had faded slightly. Yes, you finally get to go outside, but now you're forced to pretend that he was a decent human being. That's difficult, especially if the monster in front of you had possibly killed many innocent people. But, you took a deep breath and nodded your head.
"Fine, it's a deal."
--------------
"To allow you outside I'll have to tie your hands behind your back." He said while picking up a thick rope off the floor.
Though you didn't want too, you knew it was necessary. You placed your hands behind you, feeling the rough ropes digging into your skin as he tightened them. You winced, waiting for him to hurry up already. As he tied the knot, you felt a little nervous. What were you even meant to do once you step outside? What if he gets angry and decides to murder you out there? What if someones looking for you and they know where you are? What if he’s trying to get you to leave and take you to a more isolated place? A few thoughts came to your mind, and you weren’t too sure how to feel about it. Some of them weren’t even logical, yet the fear of it all coming true made you feel ill. He must be an idiot to actually do this, unless where you’re located now is rural. There’s so many possibilities, it was starting to become overwhelming.
“This doesn’t feel right…” You murmured under your breath, “Are you done with me? Are You angry at me?”
He stopped for a moment, placing a hand onto your shoulder. It was a bit sudden and unexpected, why’d you think that? Is everything he’s given you and done for you not enough to prove his love for you? He sighed, placing his arms over your shoulders, hugging you from behind.
“Darling, what’s making you think such things? I thought we discussed this last night…. You’re fine, I’m trying to help you feel better. This is what you wanted, is it not?”
You nodded, glancing towards the ground. It still felt odd him being so close to you, it felt oddly Intimate. You couldn’t help but tense up, why were you feeling like this? The wires sticking out from his arms dug into your skin, it wasn’t that which was bothering you. You weren’t sure if it was because of fear or because of embarrassment.
He chuckled, “I feel like it’s important to mention that I would never kill you. Furthermore, I’d actually do everything I can to prevent such a thing. That’s one thing I don’t want you to be afraid of, dear. So please, don’t shake or panic whenever I come near you. As I said last night, the only time I would consider hurting you is if you try to leave, is that clear?” He then stepped back, and went towards the door, pulling out both keys and unlocked them. He types in the code, and once it beeped, he opened it. You did try to peek, but he knew all too well what you were doing. “Tsk, I thought we discussed this already, don’t even try anything.”
This is the first time you’ve seen anything different in months, and here you were, the door wide open and you were finally going outside for once. He gestured for you to go first, and you did as he said. He placed a hand gently onto your arm, staying close behind just in case you tripped. Though it was almost healed, a dull pain formed in your leg, but you ignored it and continued upwards. The walls were filthy, similar to the ones in your room. The stairs were basic wooden ones, though they seem to be decades old and creaked every time you stepped on them. The excitement was almost overwhelming, it was almost painful being just a few steps away.
He grabbed another key and shoved it in the lock, then turned the handle. “Alright darling, I believe it’s quite obvious already, but don’t even attempt to sneak away from me. Do you understand?” You nodded, brushing off his words. The room was empty besides a few random pieces of old furniture, which seemed to not have been used in years. The lounge was riddled with scratches and stains, the fireplace had a picture next to it, which seemed to have a happy couple on it. It seemed sweet, how their smiles seemed genuine. In a way, you felt a tinge of envy. You would never get to experience a normal, happy relationship ever unless you escape. Even on the off chance he forced you to love him, you weren’t sure if you ever truly could. He’s dead, he’s a monster. You don’t know much about him at all.
Springtrap watched how you stared at the image, curious as to what’s going through your mind. He didn’t like it, you looked around a little too long for Springtraps liking, so he pulled you away from the room. A couple times you stumbled on the uneven flooring, but he always made sure you didn’t fall. It was obvious Springtrap either rarely spent time in here, or didn’t bother to look after the place. He moved his hand to your shoulder, guiding you towards a door which seemed to lead to outside. From the window you could see a field, which had multiple sections, each filled with different plants. It wasn’t super large, but it would still take a while to explore it all. Though you couldn't see well in the dark, you could spot a few wildflowers too.
A small smile formed on his face, he thought it was adorable how happy you looked. Hopefully this was the right thing to do, and maybe, just maybe, this will help build a better relationship between the both of you.
He unlocked it, then pushed it open. A rush of cold, night air hit you, making you shiver. The sky was filled with thousands of stars, which were all visible since you weren’t in the city. It was the most beautiful it’s ever been for you. Although it was dark out, your eyes adjusted well.
“Hold on for a minute, I’m just going to quickly grab something. Stay there, alright? I know the land very, very well, so don’t try anything.” He knew you wouldn’t, or it was unlikely you would, at least. Even if you did, you wouldn’t be able to go far. You stood on the porch, overlooking the gorgeous land. You wondered how he got all of this, but in a way, you didn’t want too think too much. You knew it was for the better to not ask questions you’d rather not know the answer too.
He walked out of the room down one of the hallways, his footsteps causing the floorboards to creak beneath him. He reached one of the rooms and stepped in. It was filled with random bits of furniture, obviously a spare room. There were boxes lined against one of the walls, random items sticking out of it. He went to one of the drawers and pulled it open, grabbing a packet of matches and a lantern. He then shut it, placed the lantern on top, pulled out a match then lit it. This way you’d be able to see everything more clearly and truly appreciate the view. He kept the box of matches on him just in case it blew out. He really needed to go through all of the stuff. Maybe one day he'll allow you to stay up here with him.
He walked back towards the porch where you sat, he watched as you slightly jumped, startled from his sudden appearance. He chuckled, “You ready, dear?” He asked, already knowing the answer. It made him feel fuzzy inside seeing you so joyful, he hasn’t seen you like this before. He used to only imagine such experiences, but now that it’s coming true… he wasn’t sure how to react. He untied the ropes which bound your hands together, then held one in his, not bothering to ask if you wanted to or not. It made you slightly uncomfortable, but you ignored it. After all, it was a small price to pay. What was out of character, or was surprising, was how he rubbed your hand. It was so… gentle. Although he has done things like this quite a few times, it still shocked you. It still didn't make sense to you, why was he treating you so sweetly?
The both of you walked down the large fields, following the gravel path. This place was amazing, so much better than the room you've been locked in. Eventually, after walking for a while you became hungry, so you decided to ask if you could take some fruit.
“Hey, Springtrap, is it okay if I pick some off?” You asked, hoping he’d say yes.
He didn’t even think twice, just agreed. He let your hand go, watching as you walked over to one of the trees and grabbed a few, instantly starting to munch on some. You offered him one, but he declined. You shrugged, more for you after all. The fruit was sweet, some of the best you’ve had in a while. While exploring, a few thoughts came to your mind. Although you’ve been living with him for so long, he rarely ever spoke about it past, or anything really about himself. It felt weird, how someone who felt almost like a stranger was so obsessed over you. So, to fill the silence you decided to ask Springtrap a questions which has been in the back of your mind for a while: What is he?
“You know, I’ve been staying with you for such a long time, and… well, you never really tell me much about you, like how you became-” You gestured to the suit he was in, “like this. Sorry, I don’t mean that in a rude way or anything!” You believed it came out a bit rude, which made you feel guilty. You rubbed the back of your neck and gave him a sheepish smile.
He stayed silent for a few seconds, which made you feel nervous. Is he angry? Does he hate you now? That sick feeling came over you again, your breath hitched in your throat. Will this feeling ever stop coming over you? You wanted to finally feel comfortable and not on edge for once.
“Hmm, I don’t think it’s the best to discuss it. The subject is quite…. Complicated." He looked over at you, noticing how rigid you became. "Anyway, darling, why are you so tense?” He dropped the subject, not seeming angry or even remotely annoyed. You took a deep breath, trying to calm down.
“I’m fine, I’m not tense at all?” You feigned confusion, looking around, trying to find a way to change the subject. The field has been mostly empty, besides the normal grass and weeds. It wasn’t really boring, it was a lot better than being in the room. But it was quite similar, and didn’t seem to change much the further you went out. However, while looking around you spotted a wildflower, which is something you hadn’t seen since near the house. You went over towards it, which Springtrap followed behind in confusion.
“What is it darling?”
You crouched down, Springtrap moving the lamp near the flower so the both of you could get a better look. He leaned down and picked one, twirling it around between two of his fingers. "Hmm, it seems to be a bluebell. They're quite common around our home, though I wasn't expecting to see them so far out."
“Huh, I did think you’d know what it was, do you do a lot of gardening?" You questioned, picking one for yourself. You stood up and continued with Springtrap.
"It's not something I do often anymore, though many years ago I used to do it with my children. Especially my daughter, she always wanted to learn new things. While we were out, she often used to point out flowers and rambled on about them. I will admit, I used to sometimes block it out as it was a bit boring. Though when I was paying attention, I did learn a lot from her. She was quite smart for her age. When I was in my workshop she often sat in there with me, going on about her day and the things her teachers taught her." He replied with a small smile, though he looked a bit sad while talking about her. You wanted to ask more questions about his family as he never really talked about his old life, but you decided not too as it could upset him more.
"That... sounds really sweet, kids can be pretty great to be around. I'm kind of surprised a child would be so invested in something like that." He nodded, a tinge of guilt on his face. "So, what is it that you used to work on?"
He thought for a few moments on how to explain it, since it was a topic that was a bit touchy, as it brought back memories he didn't want to think too much on. He also didn't want to risk slipping up and saying things which could make you uncomfortable. "Basically, I used to work on creating animatronics with an old friend of mine, Henry. I've mentioned him before to you. It took us a very long time to create our first one. That was the main thing I used to work on in there, though occasionally I did some wood work. Eventually we opened our own business with the animatronics we created, too. All our work didn't go to waste, and people enjoyed watching them sing and dance, especially my children. Those were some good times..."
You nodded your head, pretty impressed. You weren't too sure what to say, so you stayed silent.
The both of you eventually started to head back, but unfortunately your leg started to ache badly, causing you to limp. Springtrap instantly took notice, asking if you were alright, his voice heavily laced in concern and worry. Although you said you were fine, he knew you weren't so he guided you over towards a large oak tree. He sat down, patting the patch of grass next to him. You listened, plopping down beside him. For a few minutes the both of you sat in silence, just listening to the chirping of crickets, and the sound of the leaves rustling from the wind. It was quite peaceful, something you weren’t ever expecting to experience with him. He wrapped an arm around you, pulling you close to him.
You weren’t sure why, but he was warm, and it comforted you. It reminded you of when you used to spend time with your family and friends. You remember how you were there for each other, when things went bad you always stood together. If someone was going down, you’d always help them back up. But now…. You have no one. You might never see anyone again, besides the man who sat next to you. A tear fell down your cheek, falling onto the grass. A small sob escaped you, which made Springtrap instantly concerned.
“Darling, are you alright? What’s wrong?” He asked, rubbing your arm.
You sniffled, “I miss my family, I miss everything that was left behind. I want to see them, to make sure they’re okay, but I can’t.”
His mood soured, of course you’d go straight to thinking about them. He knew it’d be normal to think such things, but it still hurt him. He was trying to make you feel better, so couldn’t you just push the thought of them away for once?
“Tsk, don’t you understand? You won’t ever see them again, the more you dwell on it the longer you’ll hurt. Please, you’ve got me. I’ll never leave your side, I’ll never push you away, I’ll never choose others over you. They were selfish, like any other person in this world. I’m not like them, I’ll protect you from everything. They allowed this to happen to you, they didn’t care that you were at risk of being hurt. Don’t you see? They are the monsters here.” He insisted, wearing a mask of confidence, not caring for the obvious lies he was spilling. He had to make you believe he was the only one you needed, that was the only way this would ever work.
You listened to his words, repeating them over and over again in your head. It didn’t make sense, none of it did. You haven’t fell into his trap, although in a fucked up way you cared for him, you won’t believe all the words he spills. But... didn't he get it? This was difficult for you! They were your family, they meant so much to you.
“Y-you’re wrong, don’t say such things about them! You randomly appeared in my life, and now you’re acting like you know everything about me. That’s not right, you will never understand me the way they did. This is such a ridiculous situation, w-what’s even the point in all of this? I’m just some innocent person who you randomly decided was going to be your victim. How does that make any sense? Do you even truly know anything about me?-”
He stared at you for a few moments, his gaze darkening. He looked more unsettling from the light illuminating from the lantern.
“Oh doll, I know you better than anyone else ever will. Don’t ever talk about them like that, again. Although I hate upsetting you, I will remove them completely if you don’t drop it.” He replied, gripping your shoulder hard. “If it isn’t obvious, I have nothing stopping me from murdering anyone who gets in my way. And It seems that unfortunately they are, do I make myself clear? I have no care for them or any other filth littering this world.” He hissed, sending you a venomous glare. You have never seen that look on him before, it was truly horrifying.
You shook underneath his gaze, of course this night had to go to shit. the one time you actually were enjoying yourself, you had to fuck it up. “I-I’m sorry, please don’t do anything to them!” You begged, feelings sick to your stomach.
“I’m glad you understand. Now, it seems that the sun will be rising soon, would you like to watch it here with me?” He asked, his whole demeanour changing completely. Though, you knew it wasn't a true question, either way, you'd be forced to stay. He seemed genuinely hopeful, wanting to spend his time with you. Too afraid to say no, you agreed. He pulled you closer towards him, you then leaned your head on his shoulder. He seemed to enjoy it when you did that, as he then started to play with your hair.
It was unsettling how he just changed so quickly, how he was so sweet 10 minutes ago, talking like any normal person would. Then he just started talking about murdering your fucking family. You couldn't stop trembling, what were you supposed to do?
“Hmm, I really am lucky to have you.” He murmured under his breath, watching as the colour slowly shifted from a dark blue to purple, and eventually orange. The stars in the sky started to fade, turning almost completely clear. It was slow and normally would be boring, but since you were there, he enjoyed it. This was perfect to him, his darling sitting beside him, watching something which would be considered romantic. He wants to do this more often with you, maybe it will help make you more comfortable around him. Maybe the both of you will be happy together, and he finally won't ever be alone, again.
