I know that we haven't seen them together in a minute and it's tough, but let's try remember how special it was to see them reunite and how many good moments we had that were caught on camera for us to enjoy for years to come. (A whole interview with Ian, sketches and bts, an entire Ianthony episode of Assumptions, full hours long livestreams... we had so much!) I have been here till 2012-2013, I have been through all the eras, this period of time from they reunion until now was wonderful. I love them. Hopefully one day we will see them on camera together again

I'll go first: the way they make each other laugh like nobody else. It's a very distinct laugh Anthony reserves for Ian's jokes, and a blissful, tbh baked ass smile and laugh Ian does while looking at Anthony. They get each other ❤️

i love an ambiguous relationship where the things that matter most are never said out loud but felt, And those feelings are shared between a glance and a nudge or a gesture or a silent offer that only the one person thats meant to understand it does. Even when theyd rather not understand they inevitably do. Its inadvertent and intentional at the same time. Effortless and thoughtful at the same time. Its never defined and outlined with words, so its a constantly shifting and changing fading in and fading out melody in the back of the mind. But also everlasting and everpresent somehow at the same time. And you resign your will at some point and just let it be.

I kinda want Ianthony to do something for the 1st of April "Shourtney style", (like announce they've been secretly dating, for example). But only if it looks serious and you can't immediately tell that it's a prank, otherwise it's a waste. They should only do it if after the video or staged pictures (or whatever) people will be left wondering if it it's real or not like with Shourtney. They should just drop something like that and then leave people in doubt and let everyone lose their minds for a few hours for real. It would be hilarious and crazy.

(And imagine if they actually start dating after a while and they announce it the next year but no one believes them this time because of what they did the year before and everyone will always stay with the doubt that it's a prank. Very on brand for Smosh 😆)

I forget some people don't know what sun means in ianthony history. This is what Anthony said in an interview after they bought Smosh. And now he gets a sun tattoo. "Ian is kind of like the sun."

And together they create the fire. Also a tattoo he got after he turned back to Smosh.

Anthony has a SUN tattoo‼️(Analysis)

We all know that written interview where Anthony compared Ian to the sun around the time of the reunion and I think he's definitely aware that fans think they are sun and moon coded. So it's very significant.

It's also worth pointing out just in case that the sun tattoo is next to the tattoo that is talking about fire. In that older tattoo "the fire" is a metaphor for passion and it talks about how it is essential to live.

Why this could be relevant:

He got that fire tattoo in the first few months he was back at Smosh and of course with his comments about Ian being like "the sun" and him the "magnifying glass" to his (creative) light and energy it's only natural that we can interpret the "fire" that the tattoo talks about as the fire they create when they're together. (You can famously create fire with the magnifying glass and sun method and that's definitely what he was saying in that interview when he was talking about their creative process)

So, if Ian is the sun and the "fire" is them put together/a metaphor of what they can create together (by paraphrasing Anthony’s own words) then these two tattoos being right next to each other is interesting, since it could reinforce the idea that they both are related to Ian in some way and that that old fire tattoo he got means that them being together is one part of what creates that fire and passion that fuels his life 🫠.

That said, I always thought that one day he would get either a sun and moon tattoo, a sun tattoo or an eclipse tattoo. Because I truly think that he associates the two of them with the sun and moon like we fans do too. Which is why the painting called "Cosmic connection" where you see the sun hugging the moon as a symbol for the eclipse, that he made a few days after watching the eclipse with Ian is so significant!

It all very romantic.

Now... that sun is crying. I hope it's only because of his usual dark aesthetic, and it being the only sun available the artist had in his portfolio. Otherwise it could get a bit melancholic and we could think things didn't go as Anthony wanted them to with Ian. But we can't know that.

Anyway a sun tattoo is incredible.

(Now just for fun imagine if one day Ian gets a tattoo and it's a moon. We would die)
