I just heard the phrase, “If you wouldn’t trust their advice, don’t trust their criticism” for the first time and I don’t think I’ve ever needed to hear anything more

y’all remind yourselves your account is your space. you’re not a performance. you’re not annoying by being yourself. if people aren’t into it they can leave. you’re not obligated to please anyone, especially at the cost of your personal expression. the worst thing you can do for your online enjoyment is to filter or censor yourself.

Weekly Creature~ Spotted Wobbegong Shark 🦈ྀི

I’m back with another creature! This week’s creature that I have chosen is the spotted wobbegong shark. Unrelated, but I just finished the last show of my school’s musical, and I’m already preparing for the play audition 💙
Scientific name: Orectolobus maculatus
Status: Least concern
Class: Chondrichthyes
Population: N/A
Lifespan: 20-25 years
Have they been on Octonauts?: No
The spotted wobbegong can be identified by the pattern of yellow-brown spots and white rings that cover them, and the skin tassels near their snout. They live in coastal waters at depths of around 100m, lying amongst the sand at the bottom. They can be found along the coast of Australia, from the southwest part of Western Australia to the south part of Queensland. Mainly the spotted wobbegong will feed at night on various fish, crabs, and crayfish.
