If socks usually make you uncomfortable in general, vote relative to your BASELINE discomfort when wearing socks, i.e. whether it bothers you more if the socks are mismatched.

“Physical discomfort,” could include: pain, dislike in different tightnesses, dislike in sensation caused by fabric/materials, etc.

"Emotional/psychological" discomfort could include: obsessive/compulsive/rigid thinking (e.g. "I have to wear matching socks even if one of them is dirty"), distress over a non-physical stimulus (mismatched lengths/styles/etc), judgement (perceived or real) from others, etc.

Anon has ADHD (Inattentive-Type) and doesn’t mind wearing mismatched socks at all. This is not intended to stereotype or judge anyone for their discomfort or lack thereof; they're just curious about others' experience.
