Oh lol I think this might be the first time, after numerous watches, that I realised why wen ning goes for jin ling with baxia in the guanyin temple. Look! There's a lot in these last episodes that you just have to let wash over you as vibes ok! I thought it might be one of those!

(eg who does jin guangyao expect to find in the coffin? Who are all those burning ladies cursing him? Without the context of the original story these things are unfathomable. See also: lan wangji's wen brand, lan xichen's comment about his uncle's beard, shhhh don't worry about it just let it go vibes vibes vibes)
