i have to be honest, i’ve lost a lot of muse for alina i still adore her but i’ve played her so long that it started to get stale and i was getting insecure about my writing so i took some time off and rp’d on @seereclipse where alina was a generic muse instead of a marvel muse in order to figure out what i like about her and what i don’t. when you rp a muse so long you can forget whether you rp an aspect of them because you like them or because you’ve always done it. rping on the more lighthearted medium of ic blogging where i didn’t have to worry about marvel lore in a way helped me understand my favorite things about alina more. 

taking time off this blog kept me from deleting it. i’ve read more poetry, and let myself relax more. i’m going to try to be on this blog more but i’m going to be more selective with who i rp with because i think it’ll keep me from exploding. i’m not sure how to restart this blog but i’m gonna try!! i feel positive now i feel like i’m a better rper instead of going through the motions.
