it’s a database and info hub for missing and murdered indigenous women. it’s trans inclusive and doing vital work.

i kicked them 10bux. i’m not telling you this because i want to humblebrag about how performatively woke i am, but because there’s research to suggest that the more visibly common/popular an act is, the more likely other people will do it.

I need some help from my community, my partner and I are totally fucked. We had to quarantine at the end of June until mid july when I got exposed at work. We both tested negative. Then towards the end of July we started to show symptoms and had to quarantine again until mid August. When the quarantine was over my boss refused to put me back on the work schedule, well she said she would, and still has not several weeks later. While quarantining my partner was offered a job at the local homeless shelter, they fired him before he started when they found out he was transgender and refused to use his dead name at work. Basically we are both on the job hunt and have no income, but lots of bills piling up. We have 3 cats, one of which needs to get shots and neutered, who are running low on food and flea meds. We owe 80 for our water bill that hasn't been paid in 2 months, we owe electric 100, and we have no way to pay our rent, but thankfully our landlord is willing to work with us. We were homeless all of 2019 and JUST got back on our feet a few months ago. We thought we would have some stability for a while, then covid happened and took all of that away. Please, we need help. Like really really need help. We dont want to be back on the streets again, especially since we found out about the transphobia of the local homeless shelter staff. If you can give anything, even a few dollars we would GREATLY appreciate it. Please help two trans survivors battle covid 19.

Help needed 😓

Long story short, disabled lesbian of color here who needs to pay rent, bills, food and my senior cat's medical expenses and food (more than 2500€ a year). I got a job but it pays less than 5€ an hour (yes it's perfectly legal) and will only start next month and obviously it barely covers rent, but as a disabled person that's the only job i could find that wouldn't be damaging to my health. I will also get money from the state to pay part of my rent but only starting November. I would also like around 60€ to buy a bike so that I can save on public transportation aaaand I still need to pay 200€ for my tuition.

Hi everyone, my mother is holding a donation for the National Kidney Foundation. I don’t talk about this often but if you’ve been following me since high school you’ll know that her having kidney disease was hard on my childhood and on her life. It���s really important to her and any bit helps. When you donate $20 you get an invitation to a African dance exercise class.

And small amount helps. You can also donate directly to my PAYPAL with smaller donations. All of the proceed will go to the National Kidney Foundation. Black Americans are more likely to suffer from kidney diseases and are over represented as dialysis patients. Please take the time to boost and spread. HELP A FAMILY OF 6 KEEP A ROOF OVER THEIR HEADS

remaking b/c my friends family is still in very urgent need of help and donations on their GFM have virtually stopped, despite having to extend their goal to $15000. here is a clip of them on their local news station talking about their situation. my friend and her family have been living off their closing costs in a hotel since april, and as they continue running out of money the situation is more urgent than ever and they will soon be out of options. my friend’s mother is diabetic with hypertension, she physically cannot go back to work and her employers are refusing to let her work remotely (though they have let many others) and she has not been paid in weeks. both of her younger brothers are still in middle and high school already trying to navigate remote learning while also not even having a stable internet connection in their hotel room. it kills me to see one of my best friends and her family who have been nothing but wonderful to me going through such a difficult time right now. any shares or donations are more appreciated than you know. i will also be providing my friends paypal and cashapp for anyone who would rather donate to her directly. thank you!
